BK2; Chapter 19: [ I hate flyinggggggggg!!!! ]

An hour have already passed since Marie read the message left by the top player of the world; Hein Vilestone.

She still couldn’t believe that her childhood friend that she loved was actually that Hein Vilestone who everyone called [ The Phantom ] and was also the strongest player!

Whenever she thought about it, she would always fell in trance as his face appeared in her mind.

Actually she’s not the only one.

All of the girls inside the place still couldn’t moved on.

They were talking and laughing excitedly. Some of the girls who didn’t know Hein were now starting to question the other girls about him.

Whenever they heard their stories, at first they were doubtful and then became engrossed and were wildly asking more.

Seeing them like this that looks like they were starting a new religion, Marie couldn’t help but chuckle in delight.

“What? Are you that excited in meeting this boy again?” Suddenly, a playful matured voice called out to her from behind.

At the voice, Marie turned her head behind only to see a woman in her early twenties wearing a worn out crimson colored armor walking towards her.

This woman was Angela, the [ Iron Maiden Guild ] leader.

Marie looked at her but was surprised with how creepy Angela was smiling.

No one could blame her, as Angela was leading them as a good guild leader coolly in the battle earlier but now, she was smiling creepily~

“What?” She asked.

“Nothing~ although I still can’t believe that the boy you’re all talking about is really as awesome and amazing like you declared but seeing you all like this…. fufufu youth~”

“But isn’t this too carefree? Were still in the middle of the enemy’s territory you know.”

Hearing Marie’s warning, Angela paused as she survey the surrounding. “Well, we have no choice. We also need to lighten the mood as to put everyone at ease. Being tense and serious is also tiring and can make anyone crazy~”

She responded with a light smile.

“If you say so~”

The guild members were just ordinary women that can’t possibly bear the fear and anxiousness in this kind of dangerous situation. That is why, letting them be like this when there is no enemies can also help them stabilize their tension.

Even the guild leader; Angela who felt fatigue from the depth of her heart can also breathe some relief in this moment.

Even though she was acting strong and tough in front of these girls, she was still after all a woman… and a fragile one at that.

Her difference from the others was that, she was used to peer pressure when she worked in a company back in the real world.

Although no one told her to lead them like this, she felt that it’s her responsibility to do so as the adult one.

When she were talking and laughing happily with Marie, suddenly the whole cave trembled.

And the next second, a rumbling noise resounded and a part of the wall crumbled, revealing countless monsters looking at them.

All the girls were petrified and their complexions became pale.

The guild leader; Angela was similarly stunned by the sudden turn of events but she managed to quickly regain her senses as she jumped over the crowd and shouted.

“Prepare for combat!”

The dumbfounded girls finally came to their senses as they prepared their self to fight. Some drew their swords and shields.

Some prepared their bows and loaded them with arrows and there were also those that readied their staffs.

‘This is bad! We were now surrounded with nowhere to hide!’ Angela appears to be calm when she moved but she was actually frantic inside.

They have already recovered their health and mana but they will be overwhelmed if this keeps up.

‘I’m guessing that the reinforcements will most likely take a long time to come here! Tsk.’ clicking his tongue inwardly, she still readied her two swords.

Even if she died today, as long as she can let even one escaped it would be worth it!

“As I expected, you were here you pests! Hiss” Shouted by a very loud voice.

Everyone guessed it must have been the S-BOSS serpent king.

As she prepared to rush in the battle, suddenly a determined voice resounded in the place.

“Everyone! Don’t worry; I believe Hero is now rushing towards us. Just a little time, we just need a little bit of time to endure. He will surely come!” Marie said with a confident smile.

The tense atmosphere immediately changed as it became less heavy than before.

“That’s right! Hero will definitely come!” One of the girls shouted.

“Yeah! He will surely kill these monsters!!!”

“Come on! Show them the power of LOVE!!!”

“””””Yeahhhhhh!!!””””” Seeing these lunatics, Angela couldn’t help but smile. Without knowing, even her, couldn’t help but lighten up and felt some hope!

‘If you let these girls down, I’m really going hunt you even if I die Hero!’

Now the battle for time had began…….

… …

“Ashley, what’s the direction of Beven’s City?”

High up in the air, Hein asked Ashley who was still hugging him tightly as if she was scared that if she loosen up even a little, she will fall.

Hearing his question, Ashley raised her head and look at him. Her complexion pale as she looked around and then pointed northeast.

“I, I think we should fly in that direction…. [ Calirei Kingdom ] was located at the [ Berona Kingdom ]’s northeast… so Beven’s City should be in that direction!”

“I see, thanks…. Ashley, Iona I’m going to increase the speed… Hold on!”

As he said that, Hein gripped Iona tightly on his left hand and Ashley whose face became even paler than before after hearing it, with his right hand.

Zoooooom!

As if his feet have some booster on it, Hein beat his wings violently, and then he lightly kicked the air and BANG! Flew at the speed that even a bullet cannot be compared.

“I hate flyinggggggggggggggggggggggg!!!!”

Ashley unconsciously screamed at the top of her lungs as she closed her eyes from the force of the sonic boom.

Along the way, there were many bird type monsters trying to attack them.

Because Hein was anxiously trying to rush where Marie was, he got extremely angry that he blasted them with [ Thunder Bolt ] [ Flame Blaze ] [ Thunder Sphere ] and [ Wind Shot ] mercilessly without stopping even a second.

When a huge black wyvern tried to block him, he was so enraged that he shot himself towards the wyvern just to Ashley’s dismay and launch a very strong kick by rotating his lower body to add to the centrifugal force while cursing.

He then sped up without checking whether the wyvern survives or not…

At that moment, Ashley felt a deep fear and admiration towards Hein.

Who could kick a wyvern that is almost identical to a dragon and often called King of the sky? In this moment, Ashley vowed to herself not to anger Hein no matter what!

“There it is! That’s Beven’s City!”

Pointing at the distance, Ashley cried out.

“If that’s the place, then the forest next to it… would be…. there! That should be the forest!”

Hein turned his head towards where Ashley was pointing. He then stopped for a second and then turned his body and flew again.

“A player’s response!” Hein yelled excitedly as he cut through a large cloud.

He stopped and looked down on the large green forest from extremely high up in the air. He was currently using his [ Search ] skill to find any traces of players.

“A large group of more than 50 players… I’m guessing this is an expedition team of some sort. Are they going inside the dungeon where Marie was at?”

In the ground were innumerable, creeping shadows.

With him floating so high in the air, they looked like ants crawling in the ground…. but Hein was not in the mood of feeling superior as he looked at the place where they were going and see a cave entrance.

Scanning it with his [ Search ] skill, something appeared in his map.

There were 16 blue dots, not far from them was a rather large amount of red dots.

Since players were indicated by blue dots, these sixteen should be players and the red dots should be monsters attacking them.

Hein guessed that these sixteen players should be Marie and her friends.

“…”

Hein was at loss for words for a while. And then he suddenly gritted his teeth in frustration.

If he won’t do anything now, someone… at worst its Marie… might die any moment now!

So without any hesitation he dove in the place where red dots are gathering.

“[ Fiery Earth ]!”

“[ Blaze ]!”

“[ Thunder Shock ]!”

The monsters that advanced met a barrage of spells from the mages.

[ Fiery Earth ], that scorched the ground with violent flames. [ Blaze ] dozens of fire ignited to burn the enemies.

[ Thunder Shock ] that electrocuted and paralyzed the monsters…

Mages may not be suited for melee combat because of their low defense but in terms of high damage AOE attack, they’re were at the top of all professions.

Screams and despair run amok from the monsters as they were being killed by high level spell magic attacks.

*Rumble! *Thump! *Clang! *Bang!

The burned monsters were being sliced, chopped and hack by the violent sword swings of the knight and warriors.

The girls whose fatigue was evident stood and fought bravely with their swords, shields and glaives while screaming.

“Bring it on you bastards!!! I won’t be killed like this without seeing my Hero!!!!”

“Who are you calling your Hero!! Damn it! I won’t be defeated until Hero comes!!”

“Take this! I need to act cool when he comes so drop dead!”

….. their morals are so…..

The girls brandished their weapon as they worked together, efficiently fighting as a group.
