Answer: Master, I never thought that you know how to play the flute. It's a very wonderful music but somehow it's quite........ sorrowful.
A place with decent scenery as twinkling stars and the colorful lights that illuminates the city brings more beauty in the picture.
Standing at the tallest tower while being clad in pitch black clothes and mask, Hein suddenly took in a deep breath as he returned the [ Thousand Songs ] in his inventory.
"It's time" Hein coldly said. He turned his gaze towards the direction of the slave shop he went to this afternoon.
"Time to hunt"
With a thought, Hein activated his skill [ Shadow Step ]and his body slowly turned transparent, slowly merging in the darkness.
-------------------------------
When Hein disappeared from the top of the tower, he didn't notice a two silhouette intimately looking at him from the distance.
"Is it really okay to leave master like that? Why don't we show ourselves to him?"
One of the silhouettes asked.
"Now is not the time yet. Right now, master's strength is still not enough and if we appeared beside him then most likely those bastards that killed master before will know that he have finally reborn after a long time and they might try to kill him again." The other one answered however the emotions reflected in its voice cannot be denied.
"But..."
"No buts... for now, protecting him from the shadows is the only thing we can do until we find the others.... when that time comes, we will then show ourselves in front of him.
Besides, that girl is always with him so she can protect him more than us. You do know that her grief when she learned about the master's passing is not inferior to ours... maybe even more, after all she was the one our master loved and treated us his own daughter.
This time she will do everything she can to protect him."
"... fine but remember it's not just her who loved master, even you and I was dying to stay beside him..."
"Let it be... our time will surely come, I can feel it our family will once again come together just like in the past."
The two silhouettes continued to look at the way Hein went to.
Without moving or saying they just followed Hein's movement with their eyes that carried a hint of longing.
------------------
"This world might be filled with darkness.... human natures corrodes everything but in the midst of this darkness, a path might exist.
In this path, nothing can be seen, nothing truly exist. Then I shall thread this path alone and change the world in my passing"
Standing on a building's roof, a black clothed figure that looks as if he was completely assimilated into the darkness muttered.
It’s impossible for me to save everyone, but there is no other way but to try to do it.
Hein surveyed the small shop beneath him and noticed a total of 14 guards.
However, to be sure that there's no one using presence concealment or hide skills, he used his skill [Search].
"So there are really only 14 people who are in charge of guarding the slave shop... quite a small number."
The place Hein was using [ Search ] for was the slave shop he went to this afternoon.
Because he felt sorry for the small beastmen children imprisoned in the shop, he decided to cleanse it.
Although it's quite a pity that he couldn't find a better detergent to use, blood soap should be fine with the likes of them.
Hein didn't wait any longer and jumped down.
After landing gently and quietly, he then immediately and carefully hid his figure while slowly approaching to where the first three guards were.
Although their strength is quite remarkable for a mere guard which is at [ Level 35 - 48 ] but for Hein there were no different from a child.
Hein held his breath, quietly approaching the three guards.
With his [ Shadow Steps ] skill, it would be near impossible for an ordinary person to detect his aura.
Five meters, three meters, one meter...
The three has no idea that Hein is already behind them.
Suddenly, one of the three guards who was in the middle, felt a murderous intent locked onto him and a sense of crisis pierced through his heart.
He was surprised as he suddenly turned himself around and threw a kick out but this kick didn't land on anything.
There was no one behind them.
"What exactly is going on?" The man felt an endless chill in his heart.
Due to his enormous experience in life and death battles, he develops a kind of sixth sense so he could clearly feel a murderous intent directed towards him but there's nothing behind them.
Just when the man felt relieved, a black figure suddenly appeared beside him holding a small black dagger and with
'Psh', a cold light flashed in the darkness.
Without a chance to fight back or alert the others, their neck was cut across and a trace of fresh blood gushed out.
The man in the middle's mouth was wide open, yet nothing was said. His eyes slowly dimmed and with a 'Plop', his head fell to the ground.
Of all the three guards, no one understood how they died and what exactly attacked them.

Of all their lives until now, they experience life and death battles but they have never experience this kind of thing.
When the three guard's lifeless bodies fell in the ground, Hein only looked at them coldly.
His eyes devoid of any feelings as if what he just killed right now was nothing but a bug.
Turning around, he then again activated his skill [ Shadow Steps ] and left.

Hein didn't even glance at the notification window in front of him as he immediately closed it.
He then continued walking forward towards the interior of the slave shop. His pace which isn't really fast was as if he was just strolling around.
Hein massacred every guard he met, leaving headless bodies on his path with only a single black dagger.
The guards couldn't even utter a single cry as they were killed in the blink of an eye. Hein continued his killing spree until he finally passed at the cages of the slaves.
Hein walked towards one of the cage and saw a group of ten to twelve beastmen girls sleeping on the floor.
"W, who are you?"
One of the sleeping beastman woke up and saw him. She seemed to notice Hein's presence.
Although the place is pretty dark but for Hein who possessed [ Divine Vision ], such darkness is nothing.
Hein saw the little girl who asks him while trembling. A black haired little girl about 7 - 8 years old. She was wearing simple, dirty tunics.
Looking at her pitiful appearance, Hein's expression softens and gently said, "Do you want to escape from here?"
"E, escape?"
"...."
The little girl was startled.
Bewildered, she then looked at the surroundings restlessly as if she was checking whether she was being played by him.
When she confirmed that there were no other people around him, the little girl slowly said while stuttering.
"Y, yes! P, please help u, us"

He then took the key he stol-no, the guards gave him and gave it to the little girl after opening the cage.
"I still need to do something so use this and free the others. After you're done, then wait for me here with them..."
After saying those words, Hein then activated his [ Shadow Step ] and vanished under the dumbstruck expression of the little girl.
--------------
In a room at the very deep of the shop, Hein helplessly watched the two knocked-out beautiful beastmen lying on the bed.
Their body was covered only by a thin robe, exposing much of their naked body as they cried out their bitter tears.
The two female beastmen were both around in their twenties, being bounded with their arms behind their back. Their arms were filled with blood red wounds, indicating the sever torture and humiliation they came through. Their mouths were stuffed with cotton.
Hein's heart sunk for a moment. His anger roused to the maximum.
Looking at the corner of the bed was the villainous looking shop manager, peacefully sleeping.
"What a bastard! I'll make sure that you will never see the blue filled sky ever again!" Hein said in his heart as he coldly smiled and shook his head.
Hein undid his skill and as soon as his figure appeared out of thin air, the two crying beastmen couldn't help but cried in surprised.
Because of this, the sleeping shop manager angrily woke up.
"Shut up you bitc*"
"Hey there, enjoying this aren't you?"
"Whose the-...y, you! Why are you here? No, H, how can I help you, y, young master?"
The shop manager was startled when he saw Hein standing not far away from the bed.
With his black mask on, the shop manager instantly knew who Hein was as his voice immediately changes into a respectful tone.
He took the blanket and covered his ugly fat body as he ignored the reason why Hein came in the middle of the night.
"Hm... You do can help me." Hein said in an indifferent voice.
"W, what is it? As long as I can do it, I will make sure to do the very best I can!"
"Well then, how about a trip to Uncle Hades? When you meet my uncle there please tell him I'm doing fine~"
"Eh?"
