Hi all! An update:

As you can tell, this is not Episode Three. It was supposed to begin posting today, but it’s going to be delayed–kind of. What will begin posting over the month of July is a kind of “Episode 2.5” to bridge the gap until Ep. 3 begins in August. It will only be about one scene per week, probably, but they are some scenes I really love that dive into the fallout of the end of Ep. 2. There’s trauma, the Wolves in armor, Daivad punching the entire face off a cliff, a new elderly Short King character, Tobei having entirely too much personality for his own good, and more! I’m aiming to post these scenes every Wednesday in July (I will post all of them at once on my Patreon, I think).

The reason Ep. 3 has been delayed is that I have been having some trouble maintaining my motivation to keep working on HBM when there is not really any engagement on the series. There’s a part of me that says it’s pointless to keep working on the story if no one is listening–but fear not! I’m going to keep working on this story because it’s one of the most important things in my life, and I’m going to keep sharing it because connecting with people through my writing is another of the most important things in my life. It just may be slow going for a while as I work through this.
