Richard was fast asleep.
He lay on his back, tangled in silk sheets, his left arm stretched toward the empty side of the bed beside him. The moon threw a ribbon of pale light across his face, nuzzled into his pillow, a few locks of bronze hair spilling over his forehead. His features were slack and peaceful, so different from when he was awake; not so much as an eyelid twitched.
Not even when the curved blade scattered moonlight throughout the room and its tip trailed a string of kisses along the underside of his square jaw.

She watched the man beneath her with dead eyes. She sat light enough on his chest that each slow, deep breath that filled his lungs and stretched his ribs lifted her along with it. In the moonlight, her curls shone almost white, her naked skin nearly luminescent, but the moon could do nothing to those eyes. Any light that found its way beneath the half-lids promptly died there.
Still, her eyes tracked the tip of her knife as it explored the contours of his throat. The smooth skin over his artery throbbed, teasing, as the knife caressed it. Hot, slick blood just beneath the surface, writhing. Eager. Ever so gently, she pressed the tip in, just enough to bow the swollen skin. The artery pressed back, aching for that first thrust, for the blade to bury itself up to the hilt in delicious, wet flesh, to slide home again and again and again until neither of them could move.
It would feel so, so good. A pleasure she couldn’t imagine.
How long she fantasized, she didn’t know. When she came back to herself, she was already halfway to Muse House.

Dark Belle came out and basically just fantasized about killing Richard for a while. This is the scene from the cover art! Metal AF!
