Chapter:25 Danny solo 2

Chapter:25 Danny solo 2

Darapol was a splendid city, if you ignored the masses of refugees filling its streets. There were stone roads, beautiful houses, especially near the palace, and very nice bazaars.

While Mose was doing his shopping, Danny was strolling calmly and saw a baker beating a refugee boy. Danny said, "Stop."

The baker turned around in anger and saw the giant warrior.

He looked at him angrily "You think you are doing a favor, don't you? You are not. I am a poor baker trying to support my family. The price of everything has already gone up, my customers are fewer, people are eating porridge instead of bread because it is cheaper.

On top of that, these people are stealing my bread. Yes, their situation is bad, but if these thefts continue, I'll go bankrupt."

Danny's face hardened. "If I didn't know what you said, I wouldn't have told you to stop. I would have beaten to crap out of you." The baker let the boy go and left.

Danny had always sent the refugees he met along the way back to his village, he knew Daniel would help them somehow, but even he couldn't cope with more refugees.

"Think," he said aloud, angry with himself. "Think how I can help these people." He looked in his pouch, he had spent all his money to help the refugees, including the fees he had received from the merchants, the sale of the loot and the money he had brought with him, except for the fifty pieces of silver he had set aside for his basic needs on the journey.

There was no way he could make enough money to help thousands of refugees. Danny had Daniel's logic and intelligence but not his experience. His memory of Daniel's old life was fragmented. The most unbelievable was how Daniel had flown with hundreds of others in an iron vehicle.

But one story came vaguely to mind. He smiled and said, "I can do this."

He told his plan to Mose, and Mose said, "People who don't knoy you, would think you were a stupid giant from your looks and they be very wrong. This is a very cunning trick. But if you can get the money for the first purchase, I'll help you."

Danny said to Mose, "Actually, you owe me some favors and I want to spend one of them."

Because Danny used all his money to help them refugees knew ard trusted him. He went around all day telling all the refugees, "Go out of town today and pick as many pine cones as you can. I have a nice surprise for you."

The refugees in the city listened to this giant of a man who had been trying to help them all along. They rushed out of town and gathered pine cones.

The next day Mose came to the market center with Danny. Mose said, "I need to buy pine cones urgently, and I will buy every basket of pine cones brought here for a gold."

When the Darapol merchants heard this, they thought that Mose, a respected merchant from Sargot, must have gone mad, but half an hour later the refugees arrived with their arms full of pine cones and Mose did as he said, he paid one gold coin for each basket full of pine cones. Fifty baskets full of pine cones filled his cart "For now my cart is full and I'm out of money, but I'll be back in two weeks, these pine cones will make me very rich." he laughed and turned away.

The merchants of the city were trying to figure out what was going on. Danny knew that when people didn't understand something, they would make up stories about it. Before they had even left the city they had already heard a few of these theories. For example, one theory was that the cones near Darapol had rare alchemical properties.

Mose and Danny laughed slyly. Because when the merchants sent their workers and slaves out to collect pine cones, they would find nothing.

So they would have to buy them from the refugees. This meant that the refugees would earn enough money to feed themselves for at least a while.

After leaving Darapol, there were not many refugees left in the area. The reason was simple, they were heading towards Sargot and the war was in Lang's direction.

For about a week they traveled without any trouble.

Danny was used to the long journey and was walking along, enjoying the warm weather, when the sweaty, tired and flushed caravan guard next to him asked, "How is it possible that you are walking in this heat with armor on and not a trace of sweat on your face?"

Danny thought for a moment and then said, "It must be a tier thing, every time you move up a tier your physical attributes improve along with your special powers."

The caravan guard was about to ask another question when a wounded man threw himself onto the road.

Danny immediately recognized him as an adventurer by his weapons and his appearance. "Please, please, please, my friends are in danger, please help me save them," the adventurer begged the nearest caravan guard.

Danny didn't like adventurers for some reason. Normally the villagers liked adventurers because they killed monsters. But Danny had an antipathy towards adventurers because of his experience among bandits.

The caravan guard said to the wounded adventurer, "I can give you water if you want, I can carry you to the nearest village in a wagon for free, but don't expect me to risk my neck for you."

"Just a few giant spiders, I swear, with a little help." Danny turned to the adventurer "How much is the reward?" "Five gold pieces," said the adventurer. Danny says, "What's the distance?" "Ten minutes from here." Danny said, "I want ten gold coins to save your friends, and if it's a thing, I'll kill the giant spiders, and I'll take five gold coins as a reward plus five gold coins for whatever material you get from those spiders.

As soon as the adventurer said, "This is outright robbery," Danny turned around and said to the caravan, "Let's go." The adventurer said pleadingly, "Please, okay, I was wrong, we'll pay."

Danny said, "You refused twenty gold coins, so the price is thirty." The adventurer said, "Well, we don't have that kind of money." Danny said nonchalantly, "You can give me your equipment."

The caravan guards were a little surprised by Danny's behavior, which was contrary to his normal self, as he had been helping people all the way, not expecting anything in return and always spending from his own pocket.

With the adventurer in the lead and Danny in the rear, they plunged into the forest by the side of the road. The adventurer must have been very worried about his friends. Despite his wound, he was trying to go with all his might.

In a clearing in the middle of the forest there were three bodies wrapped in nets. They were cocooned so tightly that their class and gender could not be determined. About ten giant spiders, about a meter tall, circled them.

Among the spiders was a woman in worn peasant clothes. She was sitting on a rock, carelessly filing her fingernails. The adventurer shouted, "This is the end, witch, leave my friends."

The woman stood up and looked at Danny "I'll tell you what I told these adventurers, I'll give you a chance to go back.

The adventurers were after me because of some villagers I ordered my sons to kill.

But these villagers killed my husband, stole our land and left me homeless and alone.

They thought they were strong and that I could do nothing to them. But the spiders blessed me.

They heard my pain and took revenge. They killed my husband's killers. I lost my husband, but I gained sons.

Now that the killers are dead, I am no longer a threat to anyone, but the adventurers are always hunting me. They die, and the more they die, the stronger I become.

In short, I don't want to kill anyone. Please go your way, so my children don't have to kill you too."

Danny put his hand to his chin and began to think. The adventurer said, "What nonsense, I heard you, you are the heroic giant Danny, this witch must be nothing compared to you. Why are you stopping."

Danny "My deal was to save you and your friends, the destruction of the target was extra. I believe the woman is sincere, she's crazy with the death of her husband, but she says she won't hurt anyone if left alone, which is good enough for me."

Danny turned to her "OK, release the adventurers and I'll leave." A pained expression appeared on the woman's face. "I heard about you too, noble warrior, I heard you help people in need." Danny was surprised how fast his reputation had spread.

"But alas," the woman continued, "I have shattered the minds of the adventurers, they are now just my slave warriors."

Now Danny understood how the woman controlled the spiders. She, like Daniel, had the power of telepathic attack and control. But he didn't think she had Daniel's telekinetic powers. Having two-way powers was something that only people with a strange mindset like Dainel could achieve.

As she said this, the cocoons opened and three adventurers emerged, their eyes glazed over. They waited for her orders, weapons at the ready.

Danny said to the thirty-something woman with black hair and a worn dress. "I guess your power comes from killing," he said. The woman smiled, "When I lost my husband and my home, I begged all the gods for weeks in desperation, and one of them, Alviribus, heard my voice. He gave me my powers."

Danny "The adventurers won't stop attacking you, and the more they die, the stronger you get. And then Daniel will force me out of my dumb happy state and ask me why I didn't kill you when you weren't so strong yet. I'm sorry, you have to die."

Danny pulled out his giant sword and the black blade was covered in black flames.

The adventurer also drew his sword and get near a woman with a blank look in her eyes adventurer began to beg "Cecilia, Cecilia hear me my love, please, save yourself from this curse, Cecilia please don't follow this witch's commands."

The adventurer turned to Danny "My fiancée, please don't kill her." Danny looked at the adventurer with a sad expression "Unfortunately she is already dead, her mind is completely destroyed, the only thing keeping her alive is the will of that woman, the moment I kill the sorceress your friends will just collapse to the ground, even if they are physically alive they are mentally dead."

The adventurer cried out in pain. He coated his sword in ice and attacked like a madman.

Danny focused the power of his sword, leaping towards him, mowing down the attacking spiders with broad arcs of his sword.

He was fighting with little fear, leaving his torso exposed, but a spider sprayed green poison on him. For the first time in his life Danny made a shield of fire. The shield vaporized the incoming poison, and Danny jumped back to avoid inhaling it.

Meanwhile, the three mind-possessed adventurers were busy tearing apart their lone old friend. "You killed my children, you will pay for it!" the woman shouted in a frenzy. Then the woman made the biggest mistake she could make. She got inside Danny's mind.

Daniel was happily watching the new weapons and armor workshops being built. To get more funding, he had sent men from neighboring provinces to Honeyburg, since almost everyone in Danburg paid him tribute. They would plunder the greasy trade caravans in Honeyburg.

In the meantime he felt a pulse in his mind, his mind, the main body to which his soul was connected, was under attack. Daniel's body collapsed. His soul found itself in the original body.

In the mind realm Daniel chose to appear in his handsome form, facing Danny. "What the fuck, Danny." Danny grinned "That idiot tried to mind attack me." When the witch sensed Daniel's mind power she began to squeal in fear "No great one, no I didn't know you are the master here."

Daniel grinned "We are on the same tier, why are you so scared?" Daniel knew the answer very well, there are many factors that determine mind power and since Daniel was a man of life experience, with a strong mind and logic, he was much stronger than the half mad woman, even though they were on the same tier.

The woman tried a mind attack. First she tried to tap into the feeling of fear, and in front of Daniel she turned into a giant half-spider, half-woman, a hideous and frightening creature. Daniel said to himself, "One, you're not real, two, I've seen scarier ones in horror movies."

The woman then transformed into a very beautiful woman and tried to find a loophole in Daniel through lust. Daniel gave a fake yawn and asked, "Is that really your whole trick?"

The woman then began to show Daniel scenes from her sad life story. How his drinking father beat him. How unhappy she was until her beloved husband came into her life. How she and her husband made great efforts to turn an unused piece of land into a farm. How their land, which they had turned into agricultural land with great efforts, was usurped years later by some rich villagers who said it belonged to them with a few documents in their hands.

He showed them these things.

Daniel looked at her and then showed her one by one the injustices he had witnessed in his old world and tried to stop as best he could. The woman was shaken by each memory. Then she felt the hatred, the hatred and the desire to destroy that Daniel held inside her, and she fell to her knees in fear, begging him to stop it, make it stop.

Daniel came to her. He held out his hand in a fist.

The woman looked at Daniel's hand, it was a simple knife. Daniel said, "I can't stop your pain, you can stop it."

She took the knife from Daniel's hand in her mind's eye. At that moment they returned to the real world. Danny saw her pulling the old wooden-handled knife out of her belt that Daniel had just handed her. She then plunged it into his heart.

As she fell to the ground dead, the remnants of the spiders under her control scattered in all directions. The three adventurers, who had already killed their former comrade, collapsed.

They were physically alive but mentally dead.

Danny gathered all the loot he could, including a lot of cobwebs and spider venom. Finally, he cut off the woman's head and put it in a bag to collect the reward from the adventurer's guild.

At this moment, to Danny's surprise, Daniel's voice was heard. "Weird, I thought I'd go back to my new body when the problem was over. I guess we're together until we're on our way back.

"What will happen to your body?" Danny asked. Daniel said, "Enkra was nearby, he'll probably find a solution. He swore an oath of loyalty, he can't betray it.

As for the gang, Brad took the first tiers with him and went to Honeyburg to raid caravans.

Saul is training a cavalry force for me with ten new bandit recruits who understand animal care.

Alex is training my shock infantry, Frank my spearman.

Tim traning my archers which who chose among bandits with archery-hunting experience.

In short, everyone is working hard. They're capable of running the business without me.

For some reason Danny didn't quite believe it. But he didn't question it, he had more important problems. Like saving his cousin.

The caravan guards watched as Danny approached with a bloody sack in his right hand and a pile of loot equipment and cobwebs over his left shoulder. "What happened to the adventurer?" one of the guards asked.

Danny pointed to the cobwebs and said, "He didn't survive, it was too late for his friends."

"What's in the bloody bag?" the guard asked. "The head of the sorceress who controled the monsters."

The guard shuddered "A human who can control monsters..."

They continued calmly on their way, and when they stopped at the inn, Mose and Danny sat across from each other, chatting as they enjoyed the fried chicken from the inn. "Mose, I actually work with a man named Daniel and I'm sure he'd love to work with a very connected merchant like you."

Mose was surprised "So it was your boss you sent those villagers to. Honestly, it's ... hard to understand how someone so generous and helpful didn't already got bankrupt."

Daniel smiled, "Don't worry, he's a teach-the-fisher-to-fish kind of guy. I knew he had snapped up some bargain land at a good price, and he would give the refugees the land and the tools to cultivate it. In the long run, he will make a lot of money from the produce produced on that land."

Mose said, "Win-win. Good tactic." He took a bite of the chicken leg. Daniel said, "What do you do, my boss might want to establish a good working relationship with you."

Mose smiled "I don't think I'm the kind of person you people would want to work with." Daniel smiled, "I've seen you trade, you're a good bargainer, but you don't sell defective goods saying they're good. You have a work ethic. You don't sacrifice long term reputation for extra profit today. These are all qualities my boss would want to work with."

Mose smiled, "My main trade commodity doesn't suit you." Daniel smiled "We don't have a problem with you being a slave trader."

Mose was taking a sip of his beer at the time, and he spit it out. "You have no problem with the slave trade as someone who gives to people in need with everything in his pocket? Even I sometimes question myself why I'm in this business, though then I shake my purse and remember."

Daniel said, "Let me tell you the truth loud and clear, Mose. Do you know how the battle went?" Mose said, "The Bassin kingdom suffered many casualties and prisoners. But it managed to repel the Langs. The country was in turmoil because of rumors that the Lang queen had tried to poison her son. Even if the Langs have the upper hand, they will have to sign a truce."

Daniel said, "What about the slave trade then?" Mose thought for a moment "Slave prices will go up. The Bassin captives cheapened the market, but it will go up again."

Daniel "Don't take it from me, but my boss is the leader of the Venomblade gang, a man who does some very dirty work behind the facade of being a good guy." Mose looked Daniel up and down. "I've seen you do good deeds so many times, you're a really good person, I can't believe you work for someone like that..." "Suffice it to say, I owe him my life and the lives of my family, and I made him a promise I can't break."

Daniel smiled, "Send us an agent every month, our bandit hideout is near the village of Danville, and we'll sell stolen goods and slaves to your agent."

Mose said, "Illegal slave trading is not something a merchant of my reputation would do." He said. Then he thought for a moment. "We can meet where you say in two months. It's worth the trip just to see the man who convinced a man like you to commit a crime."

When they arrived in Sargpol, the capital city of Sargot, Danny was amazed. Roofs covered with strange green cremites, streets paved with yellowish stones kept extremely clean.

Even in the poorer neighborhoods, people's clothes were neat and their eyes were bright; in short, this city was very prosperous compared to Darapol.

The first thing he did in Sargot was to go to the adventurer's guild.

The adventurer's guild was a magnificent four-story building. Danny was shocked when he walked in. Daniel was shocked too.

Daniel couldn't believe what he was seeing. What he had encountered so far didn't really cross the boundaries of medieval fantasy, but this guild looked like something out of a JRPG. Two beautiful clerks were taking the proof that the tasks had been accomplished and handing over the fees.

There was a bulletin board where quests were posted, and the rest of the first floor served as a sort of bar-restaurant for adventurers. Adventurers ate and drank and chatted here.

What surprised Daniel the most were the magically powered elevators. There were two elevators to the upper floors that worked by pressing buttons with magical crystals on them.

Danny calmly went to the clerks' desk. "What mission?" the beautiful female clerk asked, then said, "You have to wear the adventurer's badge while you're in the guild." Danny said, "I'm not an adventurer, an adventurer asked me for help, I helped him, but he died fighting a sorceress."

Danny put the bag of dried blood on the table. The clerk examined the bloody head as if it was normal thing to do.

She put it in a magic equipment. The equipment created writing in the air like a holographic screen.

Danny could read the writing up and down, though in the opposite direction.

The clerk girl said, "Four tier one adventurers were sent on this mission, thinking it was a simple giant spider hunt. However, this head suggests that these spiders were under the control of a tier three mind controller."

"What happened to the adventurers?" Danny replied "Three of them were wrapped in spider webs, I think the spider venom weakened their minds and made them vulnerable to possession. They were slaves to the sorceress when I arrived. The last adventurer was already wounded and begged me to help him. But he did not survive the fight."

The clerk girl nodded and said, "It's a job that normally pays two gold pieces." Danny "The adventurer told me it was five gold pieces." "Even two gold coins is a great reward for a first-tier adventurer," the clerk laughed.

"But this has turned out to be a very dangerous tier three job. This was a big job that would have come back to haunt us if you didn't have get rid of this problem.

The clerk typed ten fingers on his holographic magic keyboard, which was quite contrary to the worlds conseps established so far. Then the answer appeared on the screen "Our guild leader has seen fit to award you a reward of seventy gold pieces."

As Danny was receiving the award, a beautiful adventuress in full plate armor with two curved short swords at her waist approached Danny. "It's strange to see a non-adventurer getting an award around here," she said. Then she asked, "What tier are you? "Three," Danny cut her off.

The beautiful auburn-haired woman said, "I'm tier three, and if you want, there's a place in the guild basement where we can spar safely." "I'm not interested," Danny cut her off. "If you win, I'll sleep with you, if you lose, you give me the seventy gold coins."

Danny said nonchalantly, "No." "OK, if you win you can have my swords, these swords are powered by lightning crystals, so you can swing them faster than a normal sword."

Danny smiled. He could exchange his axes for a legendary weapon. "Agreed," he said. The surrounding adventurers were excited. Danny began to hear various voices around him "Khara is the strongest third tied of the Sargpol guild." "Khara has again found a victim to defeat and take his money." "I'm place a bet, I gave one against ten odds"

Daniel immediately took control and went to the betting man. "Are you sure you're giving me one in ten odds?"

"No offense, my friend, but this is a warrior who has never once lost to a man of his rank." Daniel smiled and threw the entire seventy gold coins into the bookie's lap. "I bet seventy gold on myself." Hearing this, Khara quickly asked, "Then what do I get when I beat you?"

Danny took off his bearskin armor. "You'll get this." Kara looked at the hide "It's an impressive hide." He pulled out one of his swords and thrust it through, then his expression changed. "Okay, I accept." The look of triumph on Khara's face disappeared for a moment, but then she whispered something to herself, and her spirits lifted.

Danny felt strange going down in the elevator, it was the first time he had ever been in anything like this.

Danny heard Daniel's voice Daniel said 'Danny I think this is a test of your strength, don't use my powers.' Danny was surprised 'But you bet all our money and my armor.' Daniel laughed 'Do you think there's any chance this girl can completely overcome all your powers, pierce your armor and beat you?

Danny said, 'Not if I use your powers too. So Daniel said, 'OK then, if you're really struggling you can use my telekinetic power to speed yourself up, but don't use any power that makes it obvious that you have a second power.

There was a small stadium downstairs and the adventurers went to their seats around the perimeter, in front of the seats there were collums. When an energy or an object would pass through these collums, it would create a magic shield, protecting the spectator.

An older adventurer stood in front of the two opponents in the center of the field and said, "The main thing in this fight is to see who is stronger. During the fight, try to beat each other, but avoid lethal blows as much as possible. When I say stop, definitely stop. Remember, the aim is to test your strength, not to kill anyone.

The two warriors took opposite positions. Danny left his sword on his back and ignited his axes. For the first time in a long time he saw blue flame on his weapons.

Khara pulled out two short curved swords. Electricity began to flow on both swords.

The old adventurer-referee stepped behind his magic shield and said, "Go."

Khara was ready for a relentless attack. In an instant she was on the offensive, using her electrical power to close the distance with incredible speed, leaping and diving with both swords in her hands. Meanwhile, Danny prepared to meet Khara with his flaming axes.

Khara suddenly disappeared, turned into lightning and reappeared behind Danny. She plunged her swords into Danny right in the back. There were two cuts in Danny's armor, two shallow wounds in his skin. Danny let out a burst of flame in anger, a wave of flame 360 degrees around him, up to a distance of two meters. But the khara was still in the air.

This time Danny was really angry. This woman had humiliated him.

He threw his axes one after the other at the girl who was still in the air. Then he took out his sword and flamed it.

Khara dodged two more lightning bolts of flaming axes in mid-air, but the third blow was a slice of giant black flame.

This time Khara could not dodge, the weapon sent her hurtling into the wall of magic, where she crashed to the ground.

As she tried to pick herself up, an enraged Danny came at her with his giant sword in black flames.

She quickly turned to the lightning and ran, each time she ran she saw a wave of black flame coming at her and ran again.

Danny thrust his giant sword into the hard earth, creating a rift in the ground where Khara had fled.

When Khara shifted out of her lightning form and back into his normal form, she expected another wave of fire. But instead her leg was trapped in a crevice, she wanted to turn back into lightning, but she couldn't because part of her body was in the earth.

In the meantime, Danny's wave of flame hit her. Danny was angry because his armor was damaged. His wounds had already healed because of the first blade fire hit, but his armor was not healing. He grabbed the woman by the arm, shaken by the wave of flame.

"You damaged my armor and I will destroy yours." He grabbed woman from her adrm started to hit the ground with her. "Give up!" the referee shouted at Khara. But Khara didn't give up, she said to herself, "I can survive." At that moment, Danny looked in surprise at the flying object and the arm in his hand.

Khara's arm was severed. "I can win," Khara shouted in rage. Danny slapped the woman with the back of his hand as she tried to attack him, covered in bruises and blood spurting from the one sheep.

"That's enough, I won, you said it wasn't about killing."

Khara stood up again and shouted "It's not over yet" This time Daniel took over and in one swoop cut off Khara's head.

All the adventurers were shocked. Danny asked Daniel, "Why?" Daniel replied, "If she had survived she would have been obsessed with you, no good can come of that type of person.

The adventurers didn't know what to say. At that moment, a very strong man entered the room, who everyone could tell by the way he looked at them.

"What happened, why is there a casualty during the spar?" He asked to the old referee, old man "Khara did not accept defeat, even in this state she kept attacking. She attacked until she got herself killed, boss." "Pity, Khara was too passionate for her own good," said the strong man.

Danny took everything he could from Khara, especially the two swords. Danny said, 'I didn't even need extra strength, I beat him with my own strength. Daniel said, 'That's right, man.

He didn't tell Danny that because of his sword he could shoot waves of flame far more powerful than he normally could, and that his armor was probably some of the best armor a man of his tier could wear, adding for all his skill Khara didn't stand a chance.

Adventurers were a group used to death, but even they were used to wasting their lives in the way they had just seen.

Danny went up to the bookie, and the bookie was scared and said, "Dude, the bet against you was a hundred and twenty gold coins, and you bet seventy gold coins on yourself, so you understand." Danny "OK, give me all the money you've got, give me the armor you're wearing, give me the axe you're carrying." After the wild spectacle he had just seen, the adventurer did as Daniel said and handed everything over to him.

Danny was in Sargot now, with a lot of money in his purse. As he left the guild and made his way to Mose, he saw the city guards running around. He stopped one of the guards and asked, "What's going on?" He said, "There's a slave rebellion in Dimitri's saltworks. We're going to put it down."

Danny went into the nearest store and asked, "Where is this Dimitri's saltworks?" The shopkeeper answered Danny's question as he continued to look at the work in his hand, which was why he hadn't seen Danny's shape. "You need not be afraid, my young friend, Dimitri's saltworks is fifty kilometers to the south of the city."

Danny set off at a run for the area.

When he arrived he saw about fifty starving slaves struggling against about thirty well armed and armored guards.

In the middle of the clash was Ean, who was flying back and forth with a rusty axe in his hand, making move after move with the force of the wind.

A huge knight appeared in front of Ean. This man was almost as big as Danny and wielded a giant double-handed sword. He pointed a finger at Ean and said, "I will teach you your place, miserable slave."

He flamed his sword and attacked Ean. Meanwhile, behind the guards, a bearded man with a bald head shouted, "Kill that ringleader, the rest will obey and surrender."

The bald man felt a huge hand on his head, Danny lifted him up and was about to blast him when the anger and hatred he had learned from Daniel appeared in him. Maybe his cousin, who was like a brother to him, wanted this man to suffer even more. He shook the man by the head and shouted,

"Ean, do you want me to kill this asshole or do you want me to torture him after I kill these soldier bastards?"

Everyone looked at the man who had lifted the cruel Dimitri from his head with one hand. Ean "Danny what are you doing here, what's going on? How can you talk normally?" Danny said, "Answer my question." he said. Ean said, "Kill the asshole." Danny squeezed Dimitrin's head with all his might and popped it like a squeezed watermelon.

The knight turned to Danny "I don't know who are you warrior, but if you interfere you will feel the full power of the kingdom of Sargot."

Danny grinned "If I kill you all, no one in the kingdom of Sargot will know I was behind it. You'll be known as a bunch of incompetents who lost to a bunch of hungry slaves."

The giant kight laughed "So you think you can defeat a force with one third tier knight, four second tier and the rest first tier with the help of these miserable slaves. What are you, tier four or something?"

Danny thought for a moment "No, I'm tier three, but I don't need help to kill you all at once."

Meanwhile Danny thought to himself, 'Let's get this over with so I can go back to my village and be my stupid old self. The more I use Daniel's sick logic, the more I turn into him.'

Then Danny took out his sword and lit it on fire. The soldiers had seen a lot of power before, but they had never seen a black flame.

Danny was going to use all his power without limit, first he accelerated himself with both time and telekinetic power, leaped into the air, sent a lot of energy into his sword, and just as he was about to land, a telepathic wave caused his enemies to let down their defenses for a moment and he crashed to the ground like a meteor.

About ten soldiers were neutralized by the first attack. His giant sword was deeply embedded in the ground from the impact. He didn't bother to pull it out, he pulled out two new short swords, accelerated his pace and began to mow down the shocked soldiers.

When a soldier recovered and tried to throw a spear at him, he reversed it with his telekinetic power and thrust it into his stomach.

Meanwhile, the slaves attacked with fervor. Seeing that everyone around him was dying fast, the knight moved to flee.

Danny calmly pulled his giant sword out of the ground. He telepathically sent a feeling of fear into the mind of the paladin who was fleeing. The knight stayed in fear for about ten seconds while Danny walked up to the knight.

The knight said in fear, "Please spare me, I was just doing my job."

Danny said to the knight, "I'm here to teach the incompetent their place." The giant lunged at the knight with his sword, the knight recovered and met the sword with his sword. The giant swords crashed into each other, shooting flames.

The knight knew how to use the giant sword well, he and Danny measured the distance, weighing each other up, making move after move.

Danny was stronger than the knight, but since their speeds were more or less the same, he couldn't get the upper hand.

So he telekinetically accelerated his movements by pushing his limbs. The knight groaned in horror "Your strength was superior, now your speed is superior, your technique is also good. Who are you, how can you be so powerful." The flaming swords clashed again.

As Danny struggled with the knight, the knight began to tire. Danny took advantage of this, first pushing his opponent with telekinetic propulsion, then throwing three small fireballs one after the other. Although these balls did not penetrate the knight's armor, they burned his body, causing him to cry out in pain.

Just then, the final blow came, blowing the knight's head off.

Ean killed the last of the remaining soldiers and ran to Danny. There was a twinkle in his eye. "We're saved Danny, honestly my goal was to die fighting rather than live as a slave, but we're saved, now all we have to do is sneak to the border."

All the other slaves were behind Ean, it was clear that they saw him as their leader. Danny's face took on a pained expression.

"I think most of you know Saul," most of the slaves had no idea, but three or four of them nodded.

Danny continued. "Saul was sold as a gladiator, and was brought to Darapol as a gladiator. In Darapol he explained his situation, but was returned on the grounds that they could not damage trade relations with Sargot."

Ean's expression darkened. "Then what?" Danny looked at the slaves. He whistled and four wogs came out of the forest.

The slaves were a little frightened by these creatures who seemed stronger than normal wogs. Danny said, "Don't worry, these are my wogs. They will take you to a place in the forest where you can hide comfortably. In the meantime, Ean and I will go to a friend of mine, a slave trader, to discuss how you can return to your old lives."

The slaves listened helplessly. Ean looked at Danny in amazement and pointed to the slave brand on his hand, "How am I going to get to the city with this?" he asked. Danny smiled. "When there is only one slave, it is easy to explain that this is my slave."

At the gate of the city, all slaves were checked for papers and let in. Slaves without papers were taken away with their owners. Seeing this, Ean said, "Let's go back before it's too late, it's obvious we can't get through the gate."

Danny smiled, "Leave it to me." At the gate the sergeant of the guard looked at Ean's hand and then asked Danny, "Your slave's papers?" Danny telepathically sent the words "I don't want any trouble, I want money, I want a drink" into the sergeant's brain. Then he slipped some silver into the sergeant's open hand to ask for documents and said "here".

The sergeant of the guard said "you may pass" and left the task to his deputy. He left his post amid the puzzled looks of his men.

"What just happened?" Ean asked in amazement as they entered the city. Danny asked Ean, "Do you know how to keep a secret?" Ean said, "Yes." Danny replied, "So do I."

They walked into Mose's shop and as soon as Mose saw the slave stamp he said, "I guess that's the favor you wanted." Danny replied, "I need the papers."

Amid Ean's puzzled looks, Mose found one of the papers with official information on it that described something close to Ean's body characteristics and handed it to Danny. "With this document, you can get your friend out of here without any trouble."

Ean asked, "I has fifty more slave friends, what about them?" Danny thought for a while. In the meantime, he received distress signals from the wogs and ordered his wogs to run away.

Danny said with a pained expression on his face, "I just had a high-level warrior, who I assume was riding a wyvern through the air, attack the slaves.

"Danny, do you know who you just described?" Danny shook his head no. "They called in Lady Isabel to put down the slave rebellion. She's a very powerful warrior. This is like using a mace to crush an ant. Whatever you did, you scared the hell out of our goverment." He said.

Ean fell to his knees. He could guess that Danny was getting information through the wogs he controlled. "I promised I'd help them, I said we were in this together," he said in a low voice.

Danny put his hand on Ean's shoulder. "I'm sorry, cousin, but we have to go now. Your family has suffered for years without you, Eva doesn't even remember who you are. Enough is enough, we're going home."

Since Danny had money and didn't want to walk, he bought a carriage drawn by two horses and slept in the back while Ean drove. They drove most of the long way. Ean was depressed and didn't want to talk much and Danny felt bad. He was replaying in his head how he had brutally killed people. And because the way his mind worked was same as Daniel's, he felt no remorse.

He could have left Khara alive. But it suited him to absorb her power. In the same way, he remembered how many people he had brutally killed along the way.

What bothered him most was that he felt no remorse. He wanted to go back to his old stupid self as soon as possible.
