Danny got up from the ground, looked down at his hands, and then cried out in fear, "I'm not moving my hands, but my body is moving; what's going on?" "Danny boy, what did you just do?"
Danny looked puzzled, "What did I do? Who are you?" the spirit thought for a moment. "My old world and my old name don't matter anymore, Danny. You can call me Daniel.
Daniel realized that he had all the power in the body, he could take Danny's soul out of the body at any time, but he had no intention of doing so, he said to himself, at least I have to calculate the benefits and the harm'.
The body had had enough rest during the period of unconsciousness. As Daniel walked through the snow, he marveled at the strength of his new body. Up to half a meter of snow, which would have made it very difficult for an average person to walk, was nothing to him.
He swung his axe once or twice, then lunged with all his might at a thick tree. The axe was two-thirds of the way into the tree, and as he tried to pull it out, the tree snapped in two and fell to the ground.
Daniel had been strong in his old body, especially for a small man, but now he was a superhumanly strong giant of a man. The strange thing was that he had expected the movements to be slow and clumsy, but the new body's reflexes were just as fast as the old one.
Danny shouted, "I, I called you to save you, my uncle, my uncle." Daniel knew what Danny's delirium meant. He smiled, "Don't worry, Danny boy, I will save your uncle and the villagers."
All his life, Daniel had had to rein in his violent tendencies. When he had knocked an opponent down in a fight, he had never been able to listen to his instinct and beat him to a pulp. "The old values and rules are gone," he told himself. Now he would do what he wanted, the way he wanted.
It wasn't long before he made his way to the bandits' hideout. The bandits were camped at the mouth of a cave. The prisoners must have been inside the cave. Daniel was confident that he could defeat five or four bandits and Nate single-handedly. But he wasn't about to cut his new life short or get injured by taking unnecessary risks.
He built a small dome in the snow, climbed inside, and watched, trying to keep himself as warm as possible.
The opportunity he had been waiting for came two hours later. One of the bandits went into the trees to urinate.
Slowly, silently, Daniel approached his target. He had finally found something he could do better with his old body, which used to be quieter. But when he was short, he was so good at silent movement that even in this body, he could move relatively quietly.
The bandit urinating among the snowy pine trees felt his mouth covered by a large, hard-skinned hand. Before he could say, "Uh-huh," Daniel's other hand pressed down on the bandit's bulbous bulb, and the bandit fell motionless to the ground.
Daniel took the poor-quality iron dagger from the bandit, who also had a few bronze coins on him. After killing him, he examined the bandit. The bandit seemed to be suffering from malnutrition. He guessed that the bandits were in a difficult situation.
They must have been starving, like a wolf in winter, unable to find prey.
Daniel waited in ambush, and it was an hour before they saw that the one who had left had not returned and sent another after him.
The second prey entered the trees, calling out. The bandit was shouting, "Zake, where the fuck are you? Did you pass out taking a shit?"
Daniel stood in front of the bandit, and the bandit shouted, "You!" Daniel brought his axe down at full speed. He sliced the bandit in half, from the head down to the coccyx.
When the shouting stopped, the remaining bandits ran into the trees.
The bandit chief shouted, "Something attacked them, a bear? No, it can't be that quiet, something is hunting us, find it!"

Daniel encountered a bandit with a one-handed axe in his hand. The bandit didn't finish the words "You, you fight!" Daniel cut off his head in one motion.
Daniel noticed the short, balding man. After all his threats, after what he had done to Danny, he wasn't going to kill him quickly. But he had to make sure he couldn't get away.
He grabbed Nate from the back of his head and lifted him up. The guy was struggling, screaming like a madman. Then he quickly threw him to the ground, striking him in the calves with the back of his axe, breaking his shins.
Nate screamed in pain, but after a few seconds, he passed out from the pain.
The bandit chief ran back into the clearing, sword in hand. He didn't want to face whatever had killed his comrades in the trees.
Daniel felt something surging inside him, a power. There were powers in this world that could be called magical. These powers could be wielded both by people called wizards and by warriors of various kinds.
Those who had passed the first stage of acquiring these powers and were beginning to show power were called Tier 1 power holders or force users.
Then, as the power increased, so did the tier. Becoming a tiered warrior was an important matter.
How power was gained was determined by the power god to which one belonged.
Those who followed Alviribus gained power by killing others in battle. Still, there were many other power gods and many other ways to gain power.
For example, those who followed the god of the hunt gained power by absorbing the cores of powerful animals and monsters.
Those who followed the goddess of exploration received energy when they traveled to places where members of their group had never been.
The god of wisdom and power blessed many books and scriptures. You gained power according to the rarity of what you read and the amount you understood.
Daniel could feel that if he defeated the bandit chief, he would get his first tier.
The bandit chief was dressed in brown leather armor. He wielded a cheap sword and a wooden shield. The bandit chief looked at Daniel with fearful eyes.
"You, I thought you were harmless."
Daniel eyed his opponent with contempt. Daniel had used many weapons in his previous life, fought battles, and killed a few people. But he had never fought with a sword or an axe.
Most people didn't know it, but fights were usually won in the head. Daniel eyed the bandit chief with contempt and stood five meters away with his chest exposed and his axe resting comfortably on the ground. Sending the bandit chief the message that I am not afraid of you.
This made the bandit chief cower behind his shield instead of doing what he should have done. He failed to realize that even though the other man was stronger than him, he was still inexperienced in armed combat.
Daniel picked up the axe and approached his opponent with careful steps. He intended to shatter the shield in the first move, even injuring his opponent in the process.
The bandit chief approached slowly, hiding behind his shield. Daniel noticed that the bandit's sword was beginning to glow red. 'So it's heat,' he said.
Suddenly the bandit chief sprang up and thrust his sword right toward Daniel's heart.
Daniel met the thrust with the handle of his axe, but there was a crack as the sword burned, cutting through the thick wooden handle.
Daniel shoved the handle and the axe at his opponent.
He immediately pulled out the dagger. The other man was better than Daniel with swords and weapons, but Daniel was sure he was better at wrestling and unarmed combat.
Daniel pushed the bandit's shield away and approached to the closest distance. He stabbed his opponent several times with the dagger in his hand. He was so close that he could not easily make deep wounds. It only pierced the leather armor a little.
The bandit chief tried to free himself without success.
Daniel dropped the dagger, wrapped his arms around the bandit chief's chest, and squeezed with all his might.
There were a few crackles, but the chief suddenly became hot. He was using his strength to warm himself and thus repel Daniel.
Both men cried out in pain but Daniel would not let go, his arms were burning.
To his horror, he realized that the bandit chief was also frying. The man was cooking himself with his own power. Realizing this, he pushed him away.
The bandit chief threw himself on the snow and rolled over and Daniel did the same. Before the bandit chief could get up, he threw the one-handed battle axe he got from the bandits.
The bandit chief groaned as the axe sunk into his back. Daniel picked up the sword from the ground and finished off the writhing man.
The normal bandits were as he had expected, but Daniel was surprised by how strong the bandit chief was.
At that moment he felt a power surge inside him, he was tier one. His instincts told him to focus on which element he wanted to manifest his power as.
He began to sense the elements he could choose from as he focused. The first element was fire, or more accurately heat, the element of his enemy.
This power allowed him to heat objects without destroying their integrity. Normally, a heated sword would warp, but with this power, it would heat up without destroying the structure and hardness of the weapon, making it much more dangerous.
It was obvious that this feature did not protect the user from the heat. The bandit chief had heated his armor to save himself and burned himself and Daniel.
Daniel had burns on many parts of his torso. But he was too preoccupied to think about the pain.
In the later stages, this heat power was divided into various different branches. In this world, those who combined their power with their weapons and their bodies were called tiered warriors. While those who used it at a distance were called mages.
Mages differed not only in their ability to use power at a distance, but also in their ability to use scrolls, and they were usually connected to the god of power, who promoted them through reading-learning-thinking.
Daniel did not have access to the scriptures that mages had, and he gained his ranks through killing people. The stronger and more formidable the enemy he fought, the more tier energy he gained. When this energy was accumulated sufficiently, he would advance in tier.
He started looking at his options other than heat. His second option was the power of time. When this power was used, it made time pass ten percent slower for the user in the first level.
That might not sound like much, but being ten percent faster than your opponent in a fight could be a deadly advantage.
The third energy Daniel felt was simply mental energy. At the first level, it was possible to quickly move objects weighing less than a hundred grams with the mind. He could move larger objects more slowly. The power was stronger close to the body. The further away from the body, the less effective it was. At the first tier the range was only five meters.
Of course, an object accelerated to five meters could then continue to fly. The other thing that made this power attractive to Daniel was that it gave him the ability to make mental attacks. It had the power to stir up emotions such as anger, fear, jealousy, etc., especially in weak-minded targets.
