CHAPTER 12
A week has passed
Catie’s part (lvl7 inventorial s)
Day and night, I trained my ‘store’. I found out that different objects give different amount of skill exp. However it was hard to test, due to skill levels being really tricky. My dad told me that increasing a skill level would require more skill exp as the skill level gets higher. Plus, the increase in required skill experience each skill level is not set. Due to these two reasons, measuring skill increase was very tricky. Luckily though, my father was a mathmatician. He even had a super class on it. After doing a little test with my practice rock, bigger rock, smaller rock, silver coin, gold coin, silver pouch, backpack, water, kitchen knife, shoes, water bottle, paper, books, table, chair, food, clothes, and my father’s laptop, my father told me the result.
Melarie's part (lvl9 pit fighter b)
A week has passed, and we have been farming entalists for a week now. We took turns resting and sleeping. Entalists, we soon found out, were only a problem for close range fighters like me. Duo archers easily fend them off with ranged attacks. I just landed hits as duo archers shot entalist to knock it back so I could get some exp without taking damage, and sometimes last hits for silver. Only the person who lands the final hit gets the silver or reward or stuff like that. Except for exp of course. Ha? I'm not like the stupid Melarie from earlier? Hmph! I wasn't stupid! I was just disoriented from all the new things! Now anybody who says I am stupid will get pierced by my spear, as I already maxed my pit fighter base class with the exp I earned and the silver Red Point gave. Plus I made it to level 9, however I can't spend my 4 level points for superclass because I don't meet any requirements, and I don't want to use it to convert it to skill points. Red Point told me to save it up and I will listen to him this time! Not that I didn't listen to him before! By the way, I miss him a lot!

Scroomie's part (lvl1 what should I progress)
A week has passed, and these people are weally cool! They hunt Entalists so fluently. They say it's their first time facing this mob. I don't believe them though. For me, I found out I could progress just like other people. Even if I don't have arms and hands, I can control a spear like I have one. This is probably true for any other weapons. Which means I can be like these cool three people! I managed to become level 1, I just landed some attacks in Entalists. However I didn't land a lot of attacks. So I didn't manage to become level 2. Well, I haven't chosen which class to progress in yet.
Jaystyke's part (lvl 32 archer s)
A week has passed. My level went up by two, which is a lot, it’s probably because Entalists are much stronger and give more exp than the easy mobs we used to hunt for years. Only a dangerous enough mob to give us some silver and exp was shrieker, rest we hunted was much weaker than Entalists. Only if we knew Entalists were these easy to hunt for archers, we would have farmed here the whole time and got to maybe level 80 at this point, of course we will be short of silvers, but we could farm sunken like Nora did. By the way we think that Melarie here has something with her leveling system. She can get more exp than us, which is rare in our world. Here, most people get the same exp if they do exactly the same thing. However Melarie is a bit different, I wonder why. I'm sure Renova realized this too.
Renova's part (lvl 33 archer s)
A week has passed already, I also got 2 more levels. I love getting to new levels. It means new possibilities to improve fundamentally. Yes, you can train and practice to get better. But, it doesn't show exact progress. With levels however, I can see the progress with stats. The most important thing I have learned from being slaves was that, I can't trust what I can't see. Words, promises, hopes, all of those are worthless, unless you are living in them. Even when Jaystyke told me weeks earlier about our escape, I didn't really count on him really coming. But he did keep the promise, and we are now here and not in hell. Speaking of those times, I'm a bit sad now. I don't miss the slave life, but I miss the friends I used to have there. They were sort of like my family. So I asked Jaystyke ``Hey, Jay, remember Rusty, Coril and Trever?". "Yes I remember them, I will probably never forget them for the rest of my life. I wished I could have gotten all of them out, but only you trusted me enough to join my journey." "It's probably not that they didn't trust you." "Well then why?" He asked with a curious voice, like he didn't know for real. "Didn't you know? They were just scared of a bigger world, new challenges, change of everything and well… freedom."
