Arriving back at my shop just before opening time I place a plaque over my window saying, "We're Sorry for the inconvenience but the store is closed today", which I use when I'm too sick or exhausted to work.
"Teya gather some provisions and anything you think would be useful from the back. I have some stuff to grab from up here," I tell her.
"Alright I'll meet you back here in a few," Teya says grabbing a duffle bag and heading to the back room.
Unlocking some secret drawers in my desk I pull out a small bag containing two metal balls I got from a slug shooter. Turns out some mad fool got their hands on Mandalorian steel and used it to make slugs. They probably ended up fighting the Mandalorians because of how they got the steel in the first place. Mandalorians are very protective of their armor.
I hear a door open behind me," We're closed today".
"Oh but I'm sure you'll make an exemption for me sweet cheeks," Says a seductive female voice.
A cold shiver runs down my spine," Miss Retra what bring you here today?" I ask the female Zabrak inquisitor I've become familiar with.
" Other than your pretty face? Well, we had a platoon of troopers attacked by a saberless Jedi in a tunnel with possible kyber crystals. A Jedi would need parts to make a light saber and your shop is one of the first places such a person might go. Seen anyone suspicious?"
"No, just a bunch of requests to fix droids," I answer.
"I heard from the shop next door a young and pretty green Morellian was seen going into your shop. So tell me, is she a customer or competition?" Smirks the flirtatious Inquisitor.

"A customer looking for a specific type of Droid," I say as I glimpse Teya entering the room with her lightsaber drawn. I try to signal her to go back but she charges toward Retra activating her saber.
With a flash of red Retra blocks Teya's saber. " So you were here..."
Teya tries to kick Retra but gets pushed back by Retra using the force. As sparks fly by the meeting of lightsabers I realize that Teya is no match for Retra. The inquisitor is far more trained and skilled.
It's all Teya can do to block her violent strikes. I may not be that close to Teya but she is still my friend and even though Retra likes me it doesn't mean I won't die for hiding a Jedi.
So I focus my mind on searching for a solution that allows us to survive. Any solution would work but when I find the answer I am less than pleased. I will have to sacrifice the Mandalorian steel slugs in my hand. If I reveal myself to attack I will lose the element of surprise and she may still beat us. But if I plug the only opening to her saber with a saber blade-resistant plug it will explode from an overload.
I cast aside my reluctance, easy come, easy go I guess...
I manipulate the slugs through the air lining them up one in front of the other and send them down the length of Retra's lightsaber blade. The first slug melts while protecting the second from the heat. The second slams the molten metal from the first slug into the lightsaber head and seals the saber shut.
All Retra sees is her lightsaber suddenly appear to power down and turn off. She stares at it in surprise," What the Fu..."
*Boom!*
"The saber blows up in her hands erasing them and littering her body with shrapnel.
She stares at her missing limbs and screams before passing out from the shock.
I go to take the final blow when Teya stops me," Don't!"
"Why? She will hunt us after this," I reason.
"Roan she's defenseless right now," Teya argues.
"We've taken her hands, would you leave the enemy who cut yours off live? This is a Sith inquisitor we're talking about. She will hunt us to the ends of the universe, I add.
"If she does then we will deal with her then but this... This just feels wrong," Teya whines.
I shake my head," so be it but don't say I didn't warn you".
