Droidekas surround me with their mini-guns pointing in my direction. So this is how I die?
Teya shouts, "Roan!"
Desperate to rescue me Teya turns her back on her opponents. It's feels like time slowing down realizing she's about to be shot in the back. A calm feeling passes over me, I could use the last of my energy and prolong my life for another moment or save her. I loathe the Jedi but I've always cared for Teya and although the Jedi order has scorned me, I recognize that they are better for the universe than the emperor. My Force precision makes me look at the world from an almost outside perspective. This can make me ignorant of how others feel or even my feelings right now though I know that I want nothing more than for her to live and strive for her dream. I have hid to survive for so long that I didn't even realize I had no significant aspirations of my own. Teya can escape and live while I can't and with my mind made up I launch a bearing into both barrels of the attacking Droideka's blasters.
My energy used up I feel a blaster bolt burn its way through my gut. The rest of the barrage somehow misses. Likely because I am lying prone on the ground making me a harder target that way. I am still a sitting duck awaiting slaughter.
Teya engages again with her battle realizing her mistake. The Droideka's surrounding me drew closer now standing over me. I close my eyes hearing the sound of their minigun blasters charging to fire again.
Suddenly one of the Droideka slams into another taking out both android's shields. A cloaked figure swift and shadowy cuts through them with a lightsaber. My eyes go blurry and I struggle to keep them open glimpsing a flash of red in the direction of my Saviors lightsaber. Why red? I ask myself passing out.
----------------------------------------
Striking down the Droideka's with my new lightsaber I turn my attention to the man lying on the ground before me. I check his wound seeing it's a serious wound but we have plenty of time to take him for treatment. I caress his face," Hold on my love. I will save you".
"Get away from him!" Screams the Morelian girl I fought not more than a few days ago.

"If I was gonna hurt him or you, I would have done it already." I scoff.
Seeing her struggle to fight the droids and knowing time is short I jump in and help block a barrage of blaster bolts.
"What are you doing?"
"What are you dense? I'm helping you," I answer.
"Why?"
"It's complicated," I respond.
"Fine," the green girl groans.
Taking a few grenades out of my pouch I roll them under the Droideka's shield. The droids fail to react in time and get blown up.
I turn around watching the Morelian girl clumsily fight the two remaining droids before her. Knowing those droids guns are disabled I take a moment to appreciate her appearance. She's got some nice curves...
I take another moment to calm myself down and keep my face from going flushed. I've already got a bad first impression with her. Best not to make it worse by coming on too strong.
I focus commanding the force to lift two huge boulders over the droids distracted by her and drop them. The shield collapsed and the weight of the boulders still crushes the bots.
The Morelian girl turns around and stares at me for an awkward moment.
"Hi, I am Retra," I say feeling silly introducing myself in such a way.
"..." She continues to stare.
"Okay, now you're starting to freak me out. I introduced myself. What's your name?"
"Teya..." She mumbles.
"Teya huh? What a pretty name," I say before realizing I accidentally said what I was thinking.
"What?"
"Nothing! Hey, we got to get Roan immediate treatment. His wound is currently stable and D1k can maintain that for long enough to get him to Dathomir. My night mother can save him," I say changing the subject to another important matter.
"What?! No way are you letting a dark side witch infect him!" Teya shouts poking me on the shoulder with her index finger
"Ow! Who said all Dathomir are dark side? My night mother is force neutral just like Roan. I can tell he's neither light nor dark. I use the dark side but I do so reluctantly," I explain.
"How? Why?" The Morelian demands.
Placing a metal hand on my head in frustration," It's complicated!"
" How can I trust you?"
"I... I don't know," I answer truthfully. I don't know how this could ever work out.
"Teya... If you trust me... Believe in her," says Roan in between coughs.
Teya runs over and holds Roan on the ground," Are you sure? Yes, a Bith I conversed with in my dreams said she would be a good ally. I think we can trust her".
The Jedi girl's eyes went almost as wide as mine. Sounds like some kind of master has chosen Roan from across the universe be he alive or dead.
"Fine Roan, I will have faith in your guidance."
I help the Morelian girl drag Roan to the ship with D1k. We prop him up on a boulder nearby while I go inside and have the droid get ready to treat the patient and bring an automated stretcher to the hanger door.
It takes several minutes to get the stretcher in place and channel the force to set him on the stretcher. once finished I remove the device disabling the ship: I rip it off from under the cockpit steering wheel with my metal hands. With Roan now being cared for by D1k I set a course for Dathomir.
