Kiara's POV-
*WHIP*
I never had any problem with anyone. But I was always susceptible to losing my temper since my childhood.
*WHIP*
Mother used to say that it was because I didn't eat enough vegetables or something. Childish...

All the kids always thought I was pampered and that was the reason for my short temper.
*WHIP*
But that reasoning was flawed. I was never angry when my father was around. But as soon as he left I would become like a mad dog.

Bala said that I could've been tamed if I was given proper punishment for my deeds. But as the granddaughter of the chief nobody would even try to raise their voice at me.

Thinking about the village made me think about that bastard Mirik. My anger started to rise. My chest started puffing up and down.
"Good that's it! Store that anger using the technique I taught you. " Adi shouted from behind me. My body heated up and a thin sheet of red energy surrounded me. A black skull appeared above my head and absorbed all of my energy and anger. I immediately felt calm. It felt like all my worries had gone away.
"Don't lose focus. Keep thinking about the thing that made you angry. The more anger you store the more powerful your spirit will get. Or do you need my assistance? " He said as he tightened his grip around the whip.

I kept thinking about Mirik's face and my anger kept being sucked by my skull spirit. After half an hour I was drained of all my energy as I came out of the chain of remembrance. I had been practicing every day so that when I find that garden bastard, I could shred him to tears.
Suddenly my phone rang and I picked it up. I had never seen a phone in my life before coming to the city. I didn't read the name on the screen, not like I knew how to read anyway. I picked up the phone and it was Risa on the other side.
"Hey, girl! Are you excited about tomorrow? I think I won't be able to sleep tonight... Kyaaah" She shouted as I put the phone away from my ears.
"How is your training going on? Are you confident about tomorrow? " I asked concerned as she was not that good at fighting. She was just average and there was no sign of spiritual energy on her. I was thinking that she would not participate but she was the most excited of us all.
"Hey, hey. Are you looking down on me? You just wait. Pray to God that I'm not matched up against you or you would regret it. " She said confidently which made me snicker. I was about to reply but she continued.
"Ah... I will call you later. Someone's on the door. See you, tomorrow love. Bye. " She said before she cut the call leaving me hanging. I shook my head thinking about this girl but smiled at the same time.
"Kiara, come dinner is ready. " Bala shouted as I got out of my bed. I sat on the chair of the dining table waiting for Bala to bring the food.
"I asked Mirik to join us for dinner today. " Bala said as he bought a pot of rice to the table.
"Are you fucking kidding me? Who gave you the permission? " I exploded as I slammed the table. How could he invite that bastard over to my house? He looked at me with a side glance and ignored me as he bought the salad to the table.
"Hey answer me. Have you gone deaf? " I shouted at him demanding an answer.
"If he eats at the same table as me I would not eat today. I might as well destroy all this food. " I told him. He ignored me as he put some rice on my plate.
"Why do you act like this? A person like you who has never even done her laundry let alone cook some food talks about destroying the food that I cooked. Do you even know how many people don't even get to eat? How would you know a girl who only knows how to whine. Keep your anger to yourself and eat silently. He had declined as he expected this kind of behavior from you. " He replied as I was fuming sitting in my chair. I quickly used the technique as the skull appeared and absorbed all my anger.
I started eating my food as I had no answer to his allegations.
