Rabon Fooz's POV-
I came back to the green grassy world with blue skies as I opened my eyes. The king lying there with short breaths. Now I get why he was trying to remove her helmet. Now that I had practically lived the life he had lived I felt what he was feeling. I looked at king with sympathy as I picked up with my one remaining hand from the ground and gave him a hug.
His story was certainly tragic. His pursuit of looking behind that mask was still going on even after thousands of years. I looked towards the warrior in the distance as she was beside her horse looking at me weirdly. It was hard for me to look at her normally as I also was hoping to see what was under that mask.
"Hey, can I ask a favor from you? Can I see your face? " I asked the warrior. She looked at me as I was not able to read her expression just from her eyes.
"No man who has witnessed me has lived to see the other day. And I will certainly not show my face to that demon." She said as she looked towards me and the king. I turned around to look at the king. I thought he would be sad hearing this. But when I saw him he was on the verge of death. His eyes were barely open. I shook him aggressively so that he kept his eyes open.
"Just go and see who's under that mask. I can't see anything anyway now. " He said with a low growl.
"Please I beg you. You can kill me afterward but right now it is the most important thing to me. " I groveled on her feet. She remained quiet for some time. The king didn't have much time left.

"Ok. I will let you see my face. I won't kill you but in exchange, I would not form a contract with you. " She said waiting for my answer. I had long forgotten why I even was there. This contract meant nothing to me. I would be happy if I was able to let this lonely man have some happiness. I nodded to her question as she didn't wait and removed her mask.
Tears began to fall out of my eyes as I stood still there with no movement until I finally fell to my knees. I bawled my eyes out until I heard a voice from behind.
"What happened? Is she beautiful like her mother? " The king asked while chuckling.
"She... I do-" I was cut off by him.
"I bet she is beautiful. She is my daughter after all. Hahaha... " The king said.
"Ask her does she remember when I used to hold her. Ah..... She was such a mischievous girl, always up to doing something to give me and her mother a headache. " The king continued. I started crying harder. I wanted to stop him but no words were coming out of my mouth.
"Ask her if she remembers the dress I bought for her 4th birthday..... I'm such a fool how would she remember something when she was that little. Hahaha *COUGH*... Haa" He continued as tears started rolling down his eyes. He paused for a moment and then gripped my hand tightly.
"You know good thing that she became a warrior. I was always afraid of what could have happened to her. She could have been dead or sold as a slave. But it was her good fortune that she became a warrior..... Right?. " He asked as his voice cracked and blood mixed with tears dribbling down his cheeks. I also cried beside him as he waited for my answer. I wiped the tears off his face as his breathing became lighter and lighter.
"She.... is in a good place. You have done your part. She always loved you. " I said as I kissed the man's forehead. He remained silent as his tears had stopped. His eyes were slightly open with a small smile on his face. The brightest smile I had seen in a while. And just like that, he passed away. His body slowly turned into white particles.
I also wiped off my tears as I looked at the white particles flowing with the wind reminding me of the man who it once was.
