Rabon Fooz's POV-
I stood up from the grief and looked towards the distant tree. A long journey awaited me. The warrior came toward me with her horse but we were both surprised as the space around us changed.
Suddenly I was alone in a white world and a man was standing in front of me. A bald man with his eyes coved by a cloth tied around his head. Even though his eyes were covered it felt like he staring through my soul.
"You have lost the chance to form a contract with the warrior. What a foolish decision it was. Did you really believe that she was his daughter... Never mind that, tell me are you satisfied now? You could have just chosen her from the very start and all of this wouldn't have happened. Now you have lost a hand and have a trauma with which you will have to live from now on. Was it worth it? " He asked me critically. I recognized his voice, he was that unknown voice that was telling me to go towards the tree.
".... Yes. Everything was worth it. I had to know what happened with him to get him to this point. Nobody is born evil and if I remember correctly you were the one who told me that this trial was all about judgment. How would I judge when I don't even know the full story. " I replied to the bald man. He remained silent at first but then his lips curved and he smirked.
"Looks like I have finally found one. " He mumbled.

"Yes, the test was to see if you will try to know the evil if you will try to live the life he had if you will judge him after you know his story. And you have fulfilled the terms. Nobody from the day this book was created had accomplished this feat. From the starting to the end you have made the right judgments till now. One mistake and you would have failed the trial. You are the one true... " He said as he flicked his finger and magically my right hand started regenerating.
As my right hand regenerated I found a weird tattoo on it in a shape of a scythe and a small grave beside it. It was a weird feeling but I had seen that grave somewhere. I was just not sure where. My thoughts were cut off by the bald man.
"Everyone till now had formed a contract with the warrior and hence acquired the title of Judge. Judge of light they were called because of the side they chose. But you have left them far behind. The title you have is Judge of life. Every time you attack someone with your spirit a part of their life story will become known to you. " He explained.
"But what are my spirit and how do I call it. " I asked as this was my first time.
"Just say 'Judgement' and the spirit will manifest in front of you. Go on and try. " He told me. I closed my eyes and chanted the name. I was anxious about what would happen and slowly opened my eyes. In front of me was a scythe levitating in the air rumbling. I reached for it slowly and when the contact was finally made a blinding light came out from it.
"Finally the contract has been completed. I wish you the best, Judge of the life. Then, until next time. " These were the last words I heard as the scenery once again changed and I was transported back to my room.
I slowly stood up from my bed and drank some water and thought about what had happened.
