For twenty-four hours, I slept; meanwhile, my copy eliminated the trolls. He had been doing that for six weeks, so he could do it without my help. My backpack was full of magic arrows and potions again. It was time to leave that place, but before that, I had to sever the connection between this world and earth.
I started the creation of the last magic arrow I would create in that world, a fire arrow. It took three hours, but I finally managed to create a single arrow using all my mana. However, that was just the beginning. The fire arrow was fifty meters long, but the flames didn’t even melt a single layer of ice in that castle. I needed something even more powerful.
Using all my concentration, I tried to compress the arrow while I put even more mana thanks to the meditation. The process was slow since that was the first time I did something like that, but I was determined to finish it. On the second day, the fire arrow had become forty meters long, but the power itself had increased many times. On the third day, the arrow had become thirty meters long, but even though I created using my own mana, I was starting to feel the heat of it.
On the fourth day, the arrow diminished five meters, but I felt like I was near a volcano. The cold totally disappeared, and the walls of the castle were slowly melting. On the fifth day, the arrow lost another five meters of length, and I finally could see the real walls of the castle. Even though trolls that couldn’t talk created that, the castle seemed like a gigantic sculpture made of ice. Even my fire arrow was melting those walls.
On the sixth day, all the ice had disappeared, and my fire arrow was burning my body. That had never happened before; only when I touched the arrows, I could sense the extent of theirs. On the seventh day, I finished the arrow, the entire castle was collapsing, and the flames were burning my muscles. Without much choice, I was drinking HP potions constantly. The ten meters long arrow was so powerful; the trolls couldn’t even approach. At ten meters of distance, their bodies became fireballs, and at five meters of distance, they turned into charcoal.
“How about this, Tinemouth? I bet this will be enough to end your suffering, you are a warrior, but you won’t feel shame in being defeated by me if I use this, right?”
“Splendid, you have my respect, Ethan,” Tinemouth said, full of admiration. “I don’t think this much power will be enough for you to face them, but your chances will be better than mine. That being said, I can’t exactly let you hit me with that, there’s no honor in that. You will use your best attack, and I will use my own best attack. I’m waiting.”
I began to walk slowly forward, before shooting that arrow, I had to see the warrior which I would use it. Huge blocks of ice began to fall, but every piece of those became steam and then disappeared when it approached me. It almost looked like a mini-sun was near me. After a few minutes, I finally reached the castle’s throne room. Tinemouth was there; he was just like the other trolls, blue, but also was two times bigger. His clothes were also rustic, but he didn’t have any club. Not only that, I could see in his eyes the knowledge and experience he had accumulated over the years. On his right side, I saw that statue and floating above him; I could see a blue crown that had a bluestone engraved in it.

“Let’s end this quickly, Ethan.” Tinemouth got up. “No need to idle talk when one of us is about to die. In any case, I thank you for coming and for giving me the chance to die as a warrior.”
“No problem.”
Tinemouth raised his right hand, and then I felt a shrill. I almost could see the mana of our surroundings concentrating on the palm of his right hand, after a single minute, all the remaining ice around us disappeared. And all that I could see was a place slowly being consumed by flames and magma.
“A dying planet…”
We didn’t have much time, Tinemouth had been using all his mana to protect that place. It was probably the place where he was born, and the energy he used to protect his homeland had become a single club made of ice. His weapon was as big and thick as himself.
Tinemouth pointed his club toward me, and then he prepared to attack. Before he could have finished that movement, my fire arrow flew toward him and then hit him when his body blurred 0.1 seconds after that. I didn’t even have the chance to use my arms and legs to stay in that place, the explosion of my fire arrow hitting his club, sent me flying backward hundreds of meters. When I got up, I saw a tornado and a thunder cloud right above the place where Tinemouth and I were a few seconds ago. The thunder cloud made hundreds of lightning bolts hit the ground in just a few seconds.
‘The shockwave saved me… those lighting bolts could have toasted me alive.’
After fifteen minutes, the thunder cloud dissipated, and the hot wind finally sent the dust away, revealing a one hundred fifty meters long crater. Strangely, the blue crown was still flying in the same place, and it was intact. But in the center of the crater, I found Tinemouth completely burned, his limbs had been burned to crisp, half of his head had been burned, and I even could see ashes coming out of it.
“You defeated me, Ethan,” Tinemouth laughed. “You caused more damage to me than those bastards. I wish you luck… you will need it. I'm sorry for not having the answers you want...”
“Don’t joke around; trolls don’t have a lot of mana. You faced me with a weapon you created in one minute, while I had one which took me a week to create… farewell.”
The remaining energy in Tinemouth’s body disappeared after he smiled, and in the next instant, all his body became ashes. Thanks to him, a few humans died, but that was irrelevant to me, and he had my admiration. The only survivor of his race… who fought until the very end and didn’t give up even after centuries of solitude.

You have obtained the Frozen World’s Core.
Another dragon’s heart appeared in front of me, I was right, those were necessary to evolve skills, and that was why Tinemouth had one. But only one wasn’t enough. After that, the bluestone in the crow flew toward me.
Frozen World’s Core: Increases the power of your ice-based skills by 100%.
As I had expected, away from the crown, the damage of Tinemouth’s skills would lose half of its power. He wanted to be defeated while he was using everything he obtained; in any case, the crown probably granted him the skill replication. The skill frozen aura was probably what he used to keep the island covered in snow and ice, and that was how the trolls’ mana was freezing the city on the other side of the portal.
I thought that I would be able to create copies that could use magic by using the crown, but the fucking thing didn’t move an inch from that spot. And even after touching, I couldn’t use that skill… it belonged to the king of that world, and the crown couldn’t leave that place... only the inhabitants of that world could use it
“Well, at least I broke my limits several times, and my ice arrows are more powerful now…”
However, I didn’t have time to celebrate. Tinemouth’s skill was the only thing slowing down the process of the end of that world. Now that he was gone, the planet was about to explode. I tried to use the memory stone, but it failed.
“Seriously? I can’t use it here?”
I picked a lot of potions and began to drink it while I was teleporting and heading to the portal. My mana had increased, and the teleport leveled up several times, but I couldn’t cross those sixty kilometers of distance in a single moment. In the end, I used the skill only to cross the places where I couldn’t see anything where I could put my feet. The frozen world had become a magma world, pillars of magma were erupting from all places, and it was getting hard to breathe. And I was pretty sure that I was in danger just by being near the magma, and I confirmed that fact when I saw my HP dropping.
I still had mana to use, but I was already getting dizzy. I managed to stay conscious because the planet would explode in a few minutes; I was sure of it. Fortunately, I had a lot of potions, and then I reached the place where the portal was after a few minutes. But the scenery had completely changed, before, even though I couldn’t see anything unusual in that place, I could tell where the portal was. But now I couldn’t tell anymore.
“Oh shit…”
I tried to return following a straight line, but it was hard to do so when ninety percent of the path was just magma. I looked everywhere, but I still couldn’t imagine where the portal was. The whole planet trembled, and then I noticed that I didn’t have time to hesitate. I had to trust my instincts, so I closed my eyes, and then I teleported to above a tiny spike of earth, which was slowly being consumed by the magma. It didn’t even have enough room for me to put a single foot, but I didn’t have to do it. In the next moment, I reappeared at the entrance of the dungeon, and the place was also collapsing. The ice was nowhere to be seen.
I teleported once again to the outside of the cave, and then I saw the cave collapsing while I threw myself on the wet ground. But I didn’t care; I was too exhausted. I was so tired that I slept right over there without confirming if it was safe or not. If anything approaches, I would wake up anyway. So, it was fine.
I didn’t sleep for long, not even for ten minutes. Contrary to my expectations, I wake up thanks to a sharping pain on my back. After that, I received the following messages.
Your copy died.
You have obtained 387456 Evolution Orbs.
You have obtained 387456 Evolution Coins.
You have obtained Twin Dimensional Backpack Level 01 (B)
The backpack appeared right next to me, and then my copy’s memories began to appear inside my mind. I was already tired, to begin with, and those seven weeks of memories made me feel even more exhausted. In any case, some assholes backstabbed me, but I was too tired to care of them at that moment. However, Stella was still there. So, I had to go.
“I will make them regret this…”
Totally pissed, I searched for the memory stones inside the backpack, and I found a few. Two of them had been used to register the place where my copy died and the survivors’ camp in my hometown.
“It is time to clean the world once again…”
