While they were getting dressed, Phoenix, still extremely rattled by what had transpired, stared off into the water.
“S-so… do you remember how you got here?”
“No… I can’t remember anything, I feel like I should but I just can’t.”
“Y-yah same here. Back when that women appeared… I-I instinctively spun around and grabbed for something but f-for some reason I was unbalanced by my wings even though I know that I shouldn’t have been… i-it’s like the Wings were something completely foreign to me…”
Now fully clothed Phoenix sat down and hugged her knees, rocking back and forth slightly. Argentum slowly walked beside her and put a hand on her shoulder.
“It’ll come back to you, don’t worry. I don’t know why, but somehow, I just know that…”
“Thanks… it, it just doesn’t make sense! I know so much but somehow, it’s all just completely useless! I mean how does it help that I know how to make an entire set of cybernetics, how to program nanites or hack into computers and cameras but when I try to think of any of that would look like I get a splitting headache! When I try to think about how I know that I get a headache!”

She broke down sobbing.
“I-I just can’t process it… i-it’s like m-my mind has slowed d-down…”
And then in a small voice.
“I-I’m scared…”
Argentum stood there, shocked, trying to process what had just happened and how to proceed. She looked at the girl that looked so similar to her but that was so obviously different and out of her element. They were both wearing the same clothes, a tank top and loose pants that were obviously made so as not to restrict movement, both silver with black stitching however in her opinion the effect on Phoenix was so very different than on herself whereas for her, it made her look a bit more confident in her appearance, for Phoenix the clothing made her look more vulnerable, but somehow it managed to do so in a good way, making her look… cuter. Seeing her like that made something well up inside of her, making her want to protect this girl that seemed so foreign yet so familiar at the same time.
And so she decided to hug her, which startled Phoenix into silence and causing her to blush a bit.
“W-wha–?”
“Is something the matter?”
“N-no, j-just startled…”
“Good”
The two stayed like that for a bit, till Argentum, remembering that the two gods could appear at any moment, decided to help Phoenix get some better control of her wings.
“Come on, there’s no point in moping about it lets walk around a bit and see what there is here. It’ll help you get used to your wings, ok?”
Phoenix nodded and tried to get up again only to almost immediately fall down.
After the fifth try she finally managed to stay upright and they then proceeded to walk around, Phoenix stumbling every so often or almost falling with Argentum catching her to keep her upright.
