Soldier POV
‘Shit’ muttered to himself after the Will-o-Wisp manage to evade the spear he throw, ‘huh’ a bit confused for he was sure he throw the spear toward the monster, and yet there’s some distance between the monster and the place where the spear landed. Thinking the monster trying to get away, he shout to his comrades.
“Oi hurry, it’s trying to get away.”
Shouting to his group while running trying to catch up with the monster hoping that his comrade will bring along the horses, but what he sees next is four people running towards him without horses and with confused look and looking around as if asking ‘where’s the monster.’
‘Damn those guys’ thinking such thing as he sees the comrades behind him running without horse trying to catch up to him with confused look on their faces ‘why those guys didn’t bring the damn horse, and why the hell the monster is so fast, and no way in world that’s as fast as horse as people say, no horse can catch up to that.’ While thinking so he stop his chase because he can’t see the monster anymore, ‘huuh’ sighing to himself and walk back to his group that trying to catch up to him when they meet, one of the man ask.
“What are you chasing?”
“Will-o-Wisp.”
“We should get the horse then, Oi you get the horses.”
It was the leader of the group that asking Rais and told one of his man to fetch the horses.
“No need, no need to get the horse.”
Rais said to the man when he’s about to go run fetch the horse.
“Huh, what are you talking about?”
“Did you kill it?”
Ask the leader and one of his man while showing his happy face thinking that their mission is finally done.
“No, I didn’t kill it.”
After he said so, all the happy faces are gone.

“And there’s no possible we can catch up to that, not even with a horse.”
“Huh? What did you actually see?”
The leader asking Rais while thinking ‘what the hell did this guy saying’
“It was Will-o-Wisp, but it speed is nowhere near the horse speed, it was fast, very fast.”
The fact is Will-o-Wisp indeed as fast as the horses, but Sora speed is above it, since Sora transformation skill is a gift from the god he got a bit slight addition in his status when he’s in the monster forms.
Getting confused about what Rais said, the group decide to return to their resting place, as they arrived back at where they left the horses they see a man on top of his horse looking around.
“Hey, what’s the matter?”
The group leader try asking the man on the top of his horse wearing the same uniform as him, when the man heard the group leader speaking he turn his head towards him.
“Captain group found a bandit den in the cave near a river north-east from here.”
“What about the hunt?”
“The captain said to postpone it.”
“Huh?”
Getting confused after the things Rais said, the group leader start to wonder why the captain would abandon the order from the royalty over some bandit.
“Anyway just hurry, captain need all the groups to raid the den.”
Hurrying to get on their horse, when suddenly they hear a splashing sound coming from the west.
“What is that, it’s like something big fell on the water.”
“Whatever it is just hurry, the captain need you all.”
Ignoring the leader mumble, the messenger rebuke the leader to hurry it up. And as they went smoothly to the north-east towards the said cave near a river, but before they arrived they see the group that supposed to be gathered already start fighting with the bandits.
“What’s this, I thought we are supposed to gather first?”
The leader ask the messenger while charging towards the bandits.
“I don’t know, we should gather first and make a surprise attack on them.”
“Tck.”
Getting irritated the leader order his man to move.
“Rais, Julian you both help the right side, the rest of us will charge ahead.”
“Okay.”
Rais and what it seems to be a man in his 30s with blonde hair but now covered with helm acknowledge the said leader order, while he was a leader group but his rank is the same as both man, he was pointed to be a temporary group leader until this expedition finished. While they both riding towards the right side of the battle they see that the bandits already broke through the right side for the moment, when they arrived they throw their spears toward the two bandits running alongside a carriage covered with cloth what seems to be filled with their plunder. As the spears meet it target both bandit running behind the carriage fell, and both Sora and Julian join the fight on the right side, but because of the soldier overwhelming number they won easily. From fighting 15 bandits only 4 of the 40 soldier get heavy wound, two from the arrow and another two from the swing of the swords.
“Sir, it seems there’s carriage manage to get away heading east.”
Julian report to the captain about the fleeing carriage when he hear a sighing voice behind him, it was Rais voice he heard while the other soldier tying up the remaining bandits who stay alive, and piling up the dead.
“Alright. Attention all, the people from the group 4 and 5 will stay behind to treat the wounded and secure the living bandits, the rest of you will join me and head east to chase after the fleeing carriage.”
Done with giving his order Captain Baldwin with his 36 remaining cavalryman heading east chasing the carriage, while galloping through the forest a man ask the captain.
“Sir, why do we chase bandits instead of finding the monster?”
It was Rais group leader asking their captain of his unclear intention by ignoring the order from the royal family.
“After five days of search we haven’t find a single Will-o-Wisp right?, instead of going home empty handed better bring some result by capturing some bandits.”
Giving his respond to his man finally their group start to get a sight on the carriage. While chasing down the carriage one of the man felt a sudden gust of wind behind him, when he turn his head around he see something big getting closer and he panickedly shout.
“DRAAAGOOON.”
