DUNGEON CREATOR
Ch.13
A day have passed since they meet and now they’re all walking down the highway outside of the forest heading for the city. They talk about many things along the way, Sora manage to get some information about this world, she learn that status can be raised from training, such as if you want to raise Str all you have to do is do a heavy lifting, she also learned that magic and adventurer is exist in this world along with commerce guild. And it appears that the group she’s been spending her day with is an E-Rank adventurer, she manage to get all those information after she spent her days asking question in a roundabout way to make her seems less suspicious.
As they get closer and closer to the gate, Sora can see that a lot of people using the wetstern gate, she also noticed that there’s soldier training outside the city.
“Is it always this lively here?”
“Usually there’s only adventurer using the west gate, I think the soldier here is for the Dragon.”
“Dragon?”
“Yeah, it seems that a Dragon has been seen in the deep part of the forest.”
Thinking that it was her doing, Sora can only nod while sometimes she muttered ‘hmm’ hearing Julius story about how the Dragon killed the expedition corps.
“Hooo, so they here to kill the Dragon?”
Feign ignorance, she asked to make sure whether she should stay alert or not.
“I don’t think they’re capable of killing Dragon.”
“There’s no record in history about a country killing a Dragon.”
“There’s one you know.”
Anne reminding both of her friend about an old story.
“They said that a Dwarven Kingdom manage to kill a Dragon invading their city. They even make a story about that.”
“But it’s just a story for a child Anne, they can’t possibly kill a Dragon.”
“No, she’s right Dwane, I just remember that my teacher in academy once said that the story was true, they did manage to kill the Dragon invading their capital but he said that around 80% of the capital population is gone.”
“Hoo, that’s the first time I heard that story.”
And then he drew closer to Anne and whispered.

“You must be happy being defended by Julius.”
“Wha.. you.”
As they joke around Sora noticed that most of the people passed by stole a glace at her and she think ‘Damn, this form is really appealing’ lost in her thought they start to join the line in front of the gate while the soldier inside the gate checking everyone pass before letting them in. Because most of the people using west gate is an adventurer, the line is moving considerably fast since they used to it. And the line got hold a bit when its Sora turn.
“What do you mean you don’t have a pass lady?”
The soldier asked Sora for her identification.
“I lost it sir.”
“What about an ID, what about your adventurer card or something?”
“Since I’m not an adventurer, I don’t have it.”
“Alright then, since you don’t have both a pass and identification we’ll have to charge you before entering the city. Please follow me.”
As she follow the soldier Dwane shout.
“Lady we’re gonna wait for you in another side.”
She’s being led into a room inside the gate. The room is bright blue, the bluish light seems coming from the crystal in the middle of the room amazed by the crystal Sora didn’t notice that the soldier already move to the back of the table in the back of the room and speak.
“Please touch the crystal.”
She touch the crystal like she told to, nothing happen she look to the soldier looking for explanation, but the soldier seems busy writing something behind the desk and ask Sora for her name.
“What’s your name lady?”
“It’s Elris.”
When the soldier back to his work Sora asked.
“Can I remove my hand now?”
“Ah… sorry, you can remove your hand now.”
As she remove her hand she can see a glimpse of small red spark forming for a moment in the centre of the crystal because its gone a moment later only Sora manage to notice it while the soldier busy with his paper behind the desk, getting confused Sora ask the soldier.
“What is this?”
“It’s a Crystal record. It will turn bright red if you ever kill people or commit any crime.”
“Here it’s a temporary pass, it will only valid for a day, if you stay more than a day you will be fine some money depend on days you stay.”
“You can make your identification card at adventurer guild or commerce guild. And if you decide to stay as citizen you can make your citizenship card in legal office.”
“The fee for the pass is 50 copper coin, and if you prolonged your stay more than a day you will be fined a silver coin per day. Any question?”
“Not for now, thanks.”
As he give Sora the paper she hand him a silver coin and receive 50 copper coin as a change. Do not know if a silver coin per day is expensive or cheap, Sora exit the room and head for the city and when she exit the gate she saw the trio waiting for her not far from the gate talking to one of the adventurer, as she approach them she see a grim expression on both Dwane and Julius, curious she ask Anne.
“Hey Anne, what’s wrong?”
“Oh, hi Elris, you’re done with your paper?”
After spending a day with the group only Anne manage to call her with her name, while Dwane and Julius keep calling her lady or madam.
“Yeah, anyway what’s with the gloomy expression?”
“We see a lot of people outside of the gate right?”
“Yeah, what’s with that? Isn’t that the same as usual?”
“No, even if there’s usually a lot of adventurer going back, it’s not that many to end up forming a line in the gate.”
“Thinking it’s unnatural we decide to ask one of them, and it seems one of the adventurer went deep in the forest and see an army of undead marching here.”
“So the guild decide to call back all the adventurer in the forest.”
“Huh, how did they manage to call back all the adventurer in the forest?”
Thinking it was odd Sora decide to ask not about the army of undead but about the method the guild used.
“Oh right, you see we have this adventurer card.”
She said so while pulling out her red adventurer card from her pocket and show it to Sora.
“It will turn red if there’s emergency and ask the adventurer to return to the nearest city.”
“Okay, but how did they manage to know who’s in the forest and who are not?”
“Before we went into the forest we usually take a request that been post on the board and submit it to the staff, from there they can manage whoever they need to inform.”
“Ah… so it’s like that.”
With Anne done explaining things to Sora, Dwane come closer and told them.
“It appears that the Baron already sent scout to the forest as soon as he get the warning from guild master.”
As they talk about the current event, a Cavalryman shout in a rush “Move away, Move away” passed by them riding into the city.
