I said goodbye to my beautiful elder sis and returned to the previous elder, who gave me a booklet after confirming my token. The booklet contained every detail a student should know. There was also a map of this enormous academy campus.

'Finally, I don't have to disturb others for directions.' I chuckled and lamented over today's event.

I confirmed the location of the Boys' dormitory on the map and started walking to the dormitory area where I would be staying for at least ten years.

The day had almost come to an end. Birds and other animals were returning to their homes. The west sky was full of beautiful mixtures of red, orange, and muddy blue colors because of the setting sun. I could not help but exclaim at that magnificent sight. I stopped on my way to appreciate the beauty of nature for some time before continuing my journey. When the two familiar moons were bathing the world with their reddish and silvery brilliance, creating another piece of art, I finally reached the dormitory.

It took the staff another half an hour to assign me room 431.

"Go to room number 431. There, you will be able to stay here for two years."

I was surprised. I thought I would be staying here for at least ten years! I could not help but ask this old staff,

"Only two years? Where would I live after that?"

"That's your problem. Academy and the evergreen city have many inns. You can stay there, of course, it will cost money. Or buy a house in Evergreen city. And one more thing, don't run around at night before reaching the Juvenile Core stage."

The old man added in a mysterious tone, "Nights are darker than you think."

I couldn't agree anymore. Even my day was a dark one, let alone night. I dragged my tired body to the fourth floor, opened the door of room 431, and saw a half-naked young man was about to wear his pants. We looked at each other for a moment before I rammed the door.

'What a f*king timing! Am I living in an adult fantasy world?'

After finishing whatever he was doing, the young man opened the door with an embarrassing smile. I took a good look at him. He didn't have a handsome face like me, but he looked way manlier than me.

He asked, "Hey, are you also assigned to this room?"

"Yes, just registered today. But I didn't know that someone was already staying there. Are you a 2nd year?"

"Nah, a freshman like you. Sorry for what happened earlier, I just took a quick shower, haha. Come inside."

"Oh don't be. It was my fault for coming in without knocking." I followed him inside.

"Ahh, Today was a tiring day. I had to spend almost 3 hours standing at the entrance gate! Can you believe that?"

Hearing this, I felt blessed as I went to the least popular entrance.

As I will be staying two years with him, I extended my hands for a handshake-

"I am Aryan Indra. Glad to meet you."

He looked at me before extending his hands with a smile,

"Jacob Cadieux. It's my pleasure."

"Cadieux?" This surname rang a bell.

"Oh, it's a typical noble family where family members boast about its military achievements."

"You mean, a military family."

I was surprised to find a noble Cadieux kid as my roommate. Whenever a family produces too many military personnel, they can't get involved in politics anymore. Thus giving them the title "military family." Cadieux is the most popular among them due to their massive contribution to wars against the Empire. So, it made me curious-

"A military family, then shouldn't you go to Military Academy? Why are you in Krieger?"

Jacob changed the topic with a question instead, "Which department are you in? I am in the Warrior department."

Elementalists, whose Elemental properties are more suitable for close-ranged battles, are sent to the Warrior department. And Metal users are pretty well received there.

Since Jacob didn't want to talk about that topic, I didn't insist.

"I am from the Healing Department." I scratched my nose in embarrassment.

"Oh, nice. It's good to have a healer in the house. Whenever I am injured, I will come to you."

Even though his words sounded wrong, I smiled, "Sure, why not? I will also give you a discount as my roommate."

After chatting for a period, I went for a quick shower before cuddling in the empty bed with a tired body. I could energize the body with my lighting energy but couldn't do anything about my exhausted mind.

The next morning, after taking a shower, I wore my white robe with golden patterns. That made me look like a dazzling star shining brightly. But, there was no smile on my face.

Because I had to go to that holy but scary place to accept my fate. I didn't know what kind of prejudice the department head had against males that she didn't allow any male students before. But I hoped I didn't get on her nerves. It would be best if I didn't even meet her.

I didn't bother to say Hi to sleeping Jacob and headed to the department building.

When I entered the building, I received many expressions from many eyes. Those eyes, they were investigating me. The female students were adjusting their mindset to accept my presence. But I didn't have the luxury to care that much about their gazes.

'Kriegar academy was a genius collector. That meant every single one of them was a genius with some extraordinary elemental property. Most of them were also from distinguished families. That's why every one of them must be elegant, proud, and with a high IQ'- that's what I thought.

"Oh, good morning junior brother. I hope you had a good sleep last night." a voice wished me, in a not-friendly but intimate way.

Emma, I didn't know what was up with her. She acted as if this department was her playground. Was she some kind of boss here or a spy planted by the department head to drop the bomb when I make any crucial mistake?

But I spoke to her politely.

"Good morning Miss Emma. I hope you are doing well."

But Emma cheekily added, "Of course, I am not doing well. The service you gave me yesterday was so satisfying that I couldn't get those moments out of my head."

There were peals of laughter coming from my back as she said it audibly.

'This isn't good. If this continues, I will be verbally bullied by Emma every day.'

So I responded before leaving.

"I am glad that you liked it. You can always come to me if you want my service. But it won't be free next time."

Which made Emma stunned. It looked like she didn't expect me to act so boldly.

As this was a battle academy, the authority didn't do any cheesy orientation program. The students will meet each other in the battle arena, not at a party.

I went to the gathering room of the new students and sat on a chair in the leftmost corner. Miss Edna was already waiting for us. After everyone gathered, she started talking. There were only 20 new students in the department.

"I think everyone knows about me from the Guidance booklet you have received."

She was Edna Luvarich, the instructor of freshmen from the healing department.

"All you have to do is stand up, say your name, something you would like to add about yourself, and sit down.No further introduction about the elemental property is needed as here is a list of your name and the nature of your healing. This list will help you in coordinating with each other as different injuries need different types of healing factors. For example, Injuries from dark elements can be removed effectively by light elements. If a wood element user finds this kind of injury, you will look for light users. In short, if you encounter someone whom you can't heal, search in the list and ask for someone who can."

Everyone nodded as this seemed logical and started introducing themselves.

Then Edna continued, "Since this is done. Let's discuss what the Academy had prepared for newcomers like you. Aside from subjects taught by the department, you can choose two noncombat subjects and a compulsory combat-related subject. Academy gave you three months to select them. So, choose what you need the most. The healing department will teach you about human anatomy as you will be healing humans. That makes sense, right?" Then Edna started teaching some basic anatomy.

As for other subjects, even before coming here, I have talked about this with mom and selected Elemental Beast Biology, Elemental Runes as my theoretical subjects, and Spear Arts as my combat tactic.

With my speed and spear in hand, I would poke the hell out of my enemies. But most importantly, a long spear was for keeping my opponents away from my body. In that way, I can use my lightning energy with ease.
