Adamantium Fortress: Classroom A

“The Mana has five innate ability like how Life Flame has three innate ability, but the difference is that the five innate ability of our Mana is what makes Arcane Magic works, and they are: Mana Nexus, Mana Circuit, Mana Support, Mana Materialization, and Mana Transformation.

The First innate ability of Mana is Mana Nexus. It is the bond between Mana and Life Flame and how Mana can stay within our bodies. Mana is like heat produced by a normal flame, but unlike normal heat, where it keeps spreading out, our Mana stays within the influence of our body, and it’s all because of Mana Nexus.

The second innate ability is Mana Circuit is the communication network between our Mana and our mind. It is like the nervous system in our body that allows us to control our body, and with the mana circuit, we are able to communicate and control our Mana.

The third is Mana Support; like its name, it supports our body in whatever it needs. It nourishes our body to make sure it is healthy and improves our body to the best it can be. It is the main reason we can enhance our bodies to the peak of the human condition.

The fourth is Mana Materialization; with it, we can turn our Mana into Matter. The fifth and final innate ability is Mana Transformation. With it, we can change and manipulate the properties of our Mana,” Instructor Edder said as the high knights wrote everything down in their books, making sure not to miss any important information. “Are there any questions before I move on?” with no one answering him.

“All right, Let’s move on to the next topic, The Arcane Magic. Now, Arcane Magic is divided into five major branches, with each branch using one of the innate abilities of Mana as its core principle. And they are Evocation Magic, Divination Magic, Enhancement Magic, Conjuration Magic, and Transmutation Magic. Each Major Branch is further divided into 2 Lesser Branches, which I will also explain.

Let’s start with Evocation Magic. Evocation Magic uses Mana Nexus as its main principle to form Magic. To be precise, it uses the concept of the bond between Mana and our Life Flame. If our Mana can bond with our Life Flame, then we can also use our Mana to bond with other things. Let me give you all an example,” Instructor Edder said as he reached his hand toward one of the high knights in front of the classroom, startling the high knight.

After reaching out his hand, instructor Edder’s hand began to glow as Mana started to come out of his hand as it extended toward the Magic System book in front of the high knight, which made the high knight sigh in relief as he wasn’t the target but before he could relax, he saw his book in front of him started to float as the Mana lifted it for all the high knights in the classroom to see.

“With Mana Nexus and Evocation Magic, I created a bond between my mana and the book, allowing my mana to “Grab” the book. Now, suppose I didn’t use Evocation Magic. In that case, my Mana alone won’t be able to “Grab” the book as our Mana cannot interact with any physical body,” Instructor Edder said as the book fell from the air and back to the high knight’s table, startling him again.

“Evocation Magic is divided into two lesser branches: Connective Magic and Emission Magic. Connective Branch Magic is what I have just shown you guys, while Emission Branch Magic is completely opposite to Connective Magic.

Suppose the Connective Magic is about connecting our Mana to other things. In that case, Emission Magic is about separating a portion of our Mana from the rest of our Mana,” Instructor Edder said as he raised his hand again and began releasing his Mana.

Bubbles started appearing from the hands of the Instructor as bubbles start to float around the classroom, mesmerizing the high knights with the show of Magic as they had never seen Magic before

“Mana Nexus is an amazing innate ability of the Mana, but because of that bond between Mana and Life Flame, it also hindered Mana user from creating projectile Magic as Mana Nexus did not allow it. However, with emission magic, we can separate Mana from each other, making it possible for projectile Magic to be created.

There is, however, a side effect with projectile Magic or separated Mana, and that is the moment a portion of Mana is separated from the rest of the Mana, we can no longer control that Mana. That is why Emission Magic is mostly used to do Projectile Magic.” Instructor Edder said as the bubbles started popping. “Is there any question before we move on to the next major branch?”

The high knights didn’t raise their hands as they were too preoccupied with absorbing everything Instructor Edder told them.

“All right. Let’s move on to the next one, Divination Magic, whose core concept is the Magic circuit.

With Divination Magic, we can control and manage the information within our Mana Circuit or use our Mana Circuit to obtain information.

Divination Magic is divided into two lesser branches: Internal Magic and External Magic.

Internal Magic is about controlling and managing information within our Mana Circuit, While External Magic is about acquiring information outside of our bodies with the help of the Mana Circuit.

For example, Instead of sending a command to my Mana, I could use my Mana circuit to contain information, like my thought within my Mana, and use that Mana to send my thought to another person. Let me demonstrate. Come here, Julia,” Instructor Edder said as he signaled Julia to come in front of the classroom.

“Yes, Sir,” Julia replied and immediately went in front of the classroom as the rest of the high knights carefully observed.

“Now, Julia, face the blackboard and tell me how many fingers I am holding, but before you make your guess, I will be sending my thought to you, Is that understood?” Instructor Edder said

“Yes, Sir,” Julia replied as she faced the blackboard

Instructor Edder raised his two fingers for all the high knights in the classroom to see before addressing Julia, “Are you ready? Julia?”

“Yes, Sir,” Julia resolutely replied

“Good, Now, Listen carefully to my thought. I do not specialize in Divination Magic, so Focus up,” Instructor Edder said as another bubble appeared in his hands and started to float to Julia’s head before popping. “Now, How many fingers am I holding up?”

“Two?” Julia doubtingly replied as the high knights behind her all gasped in amazement

“Woah. That was amazing.”

“What? There Magic like that?”

“Does that mean every mana-users can communicate with just their mana?”

The high knights whispered amongst each other as they marveled at Instructor Edder’s demonstration, widening their worldview.

“All right, Quiet down. Now, Julia, Tell the class what you experienced so that they can understand your point of view,” Instructor Edder said

“Yes, Sir. When the Instructor asked me the question, I heard the Instructor’s voice in my head, giving me the answer,” Julia replied

“This Magic is called Telepathy Magic, it is part of the internal Magic of Divination, and with it, I can send my thought to another person. To be precise, I stored the answer within my Mana Circuit, and after that, all I had to do was share that information with Julia.

But internal Magic isn’t just about storing thoughts in your Mana. It is also possible to store memories, images, and many more.

Now, I have a question for you all. How is it that Julia was able to understand my thoughts even though she doesn’t know how to do divination magic? How was she able to absorb the information I gave her?” .with one of the high knights raising his hand

“Because you sent it into her head?” the high knight said.

“That’s a part of it. But the main reason she could absorb my thought is that our Mana Circuit could absorb External information, like how our ears could absorb sound. Our Mana Circuit could also absorb information all around us. The only difference is that our brain is having difficulty processing it, which is why we need Divination Magic to process and manage the information within our Mana Circuit.

Because the information I sent was something Julia could understand, her brain was able to process it.

Now, with how I did it, it was best very amateurish. Some experts in Divination Magic can send their thoughts for miles away or share their memories with other people, but since I do not specialize in Divination magic, this is the best I can do. Strictly speaking, I also used Emission Magic to create the bubble that held my thoughts, but we can talk about Magic Fusion later.

“All right. Give me a few seconds. I don’t have much mastery over Divination Magic." Instructor Edder said as he closed his eyes, and after a few seconds, he spoke again.

"Is it Three?”

“Yes, Sir,” Julia said, quite surprised with the high knights started whispering to each other again.

“Wow…”

“How?...”

“Is this why mana users are banned in gambling dens?”

“Is that really what you thought about?”

“All right, Quiet Down. Now, who can tell me how I was able to guess it correctly?” Instructor Edder asked, with no one answering as the high knights pondered

After a few more seconds, the high knights still didn’t answer. They didn’t even try as they didn’t want to make themselves look like a fool.

“No one is going to answer? All right. I don’t blame you all, as I am leaving one crucial piece of information I didn't mention: Aether. Aether has a big role in external Divination, as most External information comes from the Aether.

As I have said, our world is full of information; whether it be our bodies to the chairs we sit in, it is full of information, and since Aether is omnipresent in our world, it has become the focal point where we can access all the information around as it connects everything in our world.

And with the help of Divination Magic and Mana Circuit, I could connect to the Aether and "Find" the answer I was looking for.

Some experts in External Magic of Divination Magic can locate a lake that is miles away or detect gold mines under the ground. There are even rumors of some Divination Experts that can read a person’s mind.” Instructor Edder said as high knights began to whisper amongst each other again.

“Read people’s minds. How is that possible?”

“Isn’t Divination too strong, then?”

Deon was also in deep thought as he heard Instructor Edder’s explanation, but compared to the other high knights that were panicking about mind reading, Deon thought about his Dreamscape and how close it was to Divination magic.

Like for example, Divination magic is about storing Information within Mana, and his Dreamscape can also store any information that he wants and is able to control it.

‘Hm… Is my Dreamscape related to Divination Magic?’ Deon thought, ‘It’s possible, right? but my Dreamscape is already an Unknown Magic… I’ve learned so much today… I need a break to sort my thoughts out.’

“I don’t like repeating myself. When I say quiet, you stay quiet, and if you all have questions, then raise your hand. Anyone that doesn’t like that rule, you can get out of my Lecture,” Instructor Edder said as his final warning to the whispering High-knights. “Now, Where were we?... Right… Are there any more questions before we move on? I want to finish explaining the Magic System to you all today before the next class.”

“No one? Then Let’s proceed to the third Major branch: The Conjuration Magic and its core principle being the Mana Materialization Innate ability.”
