Planet goes live!

Jay had created many races. In total there was 22 and they were all products of the fantasy genre in his past life.

[Current races on the planet: Humans (5 groups), Elf (3 groups), Dwarf (6 groups), Orc (4 groups), Troll (2 groups), Lycanthrope (6 groups (individualized)), Dragovits (1 group), Fenrir (2 groups), 9 Tailed Fox (2 groups), Dragon (1 group), Eastern Dragon (1 group), Mermen (2 groups), Atlantean (1 group), Goblin (4 groups), Mole Men (3 groups), Harpy (2 groups), Treeant (3 groups), Mimic (3 groups), Mantis Insectoids (1 group), Centaur (3 groups), Fairy (2 groups), Cyclops (1 group)]

Jay felt like this was enough and would push competition in the right direction. He placed each group in different locations so that over time they would each naturally discover each other as they migrate or expand. How those interactions will go is a different story, but Jay wasn't planning on intervening in fate for every encounter. Jay was going to take a similar approach as his old God where he was mostly hand off and only focused on development and major crises. He would help them from time to time but other than that he wanted them to do everything on their own, their own accomplishments.

Jay then felt all the new creatures standing on his planet. His planet. His people. It was a refreshing feeling of accomplishment for Jay.

Jay then looked at everyone and said,"Is everyone ready for me to unpause the world?"

Everyone quickly shouted,"NO!" at the top of their lungs as Jay's finger hovered over the button. Jay retracted his finger and said,"Ok, what is the problem?"

Everyone breathed a sigh of relief and finally Phineas said,"Father, the gods must be on the planet performing their duties for a few years before we can come back up to the godly room. The sentients need to feel our presence in the world or it will cause untold problems in the future! You probably don't feel it but we all are basically being screamed at to go down and do our duties by our instincts right now."

Jay thought for a moment and replied,"I apologize, I don't feel that. Well then, I guess we need to get you guys down to the planet then."

Before anyone could say anything, Jay willed them to appear in their respective locations to begin their duties. Jay could almost instantly feel the displeasure of not getting a say beforehand from their connected feelings.

Jay quickly sent another apology with the emotional connection. It was received well and positive reactions were sent back.

Jay thought to himself,"This emotional connection thing is pretty cool."

Jay then sat back down and unpaused the world.

Author note: Jay now has 18 GP for those wondering. Yes, I actually did the calculations.

The human man came to his senses in a moment as "memories" from his life filled in the gaps as to how he got here. Not thinking to much about it as he was pretty dumb he looked around and saw another creature that looked similar to him but different. His memories automatically filled in that he had caught a glance of her and two other people and he instantly found her to be beautiful.

He walked over to her and looked her up and a down as she shied away from him. She looked a little scared, so he made a cooing noise as he didn't know any words. This was a prehistoric ancient man afterall!

As he was staring at her two assets on her chest he started to "feel" something and he looked down to see something growing. She was amazed at his growth and thought him to be a powerful creature that looked similar to her.

However she was also starting to grow more and more attracted to that scent his growing thing was emitting!

Without really knowing what they were doing the two engaged in carnal pleasure with one another as they slowly went from looking like virgins to looking like lovers.

All across the world, similar events were happening as each pair met its first fated match. Jay of course did not set them to do this immediately upon creation, however it seemed that they did it like that simply because they know intuitively that they must expand the population. At least that was what Jay hypothesized.

The many couples all spent the entire day and night engaging in these activities, ensuring every pair would be giving birth to children in the near future.

The gods for their part made sure that these couples were not interrupted as the need to expand population was an absolute must.

Jay then sped up the world and let a hundred years pass in the blink of an eye. He felt the children be born, he felt the many new souls that walked upon his planet and he also felt the deaths of almost 60% of the original sentients. Jay felt sad for them but knew this was simply part of the process.

Jay noticed that no specific sentient had properly formed any civilization or community so he set the planet to spin at 10x speed until this milestone had been reached. There was only so much entertainment in mating, hunting small prey, and spending most of your time sitting in caves and such.

Slowly the gods that had left popped back into the room, occasionally leaving again to do something before returning. Especially Stelara, because the earth was sped up, she could spend days playing with the children, come back and tell her dad everything and then pop back down to play with a new generation. To her it was like having infinite friends.

Jay was happy that she seemed to enjoy doing this job, and he hoped that she would continue being happy. Jay looked at the spinning rock in front of him as he felt the many changes that happened every second. Then out of nowhere, the planet stopped. The threshold for a community had been reached.
