I Will Be No Slave! (Moxar 3)

Moxar roared out his guttural cry as the warriors all trembled on the ground in fright. Moxar had already been a very tough opponent for them, so much so that they had to resort to the beast killing formation. Now, as a clearly visible faint white light shown on the edges of Moxar's body, the power that exudes from Moxar was like a pressure sitting above their heads, making them unable to even move!

[System Notification: 1 of your sentients has discovered the [Soul Arts] power tree! Your other sentients will now grasp this easier!]

[System Notification: 1 of your sentients has advanced to a 1 light cultivation level within the [Soul Arts] power tree category. As this sentient is the first to complete this task, it will be given a blessing by the World Spirit]

[System Notification: World Spirit has converged and given sentient [Goblin - Moxar] the blessing [Thinker - 3 star Blessing - Effect: When in combat, thinking speed, reaction speed, and critical thinking skills will improve by 30%. Permanent.] .]

Moxar suddenly felt as if head was now clear, able to see and feel everyone and everything within the room with great detail and much greater clarity! Moxar grinned as he thought this was the result of his advancement!

The Goblin chief smirked evilly and said,"GOOD! GOOD!"

Moxar was now worried. He had fully displayed his power and the warriors sent to kill him were now useless against him. Moxar looked at the chief silently and waited to see what this evil and cunning old goblin had as its last resort.

Moxar suddenly felt like his entire body was frozen, and he could no longer move. Realizing this, he chose not to show his worry and anxiousness on the surface, as he gave a death glare towards the goblin chief.

The chief got off his stone throne and walked forwards towards his new slave. The chief cackled with glee and he bragged to Moxar loudly,"You disrespected this king, and I sentenced you to death, but now that you are strong, you will be my champion!"

Moxar, still glaring at him, only replied,"No" and went completely silent again.

The chief, now about a foot away from Moxar, threw his fist at Moxars face as hard as he could.

CRACK!

The sound of the chief's hand smashing into his face resounded within the cave, and the chief, who now had a broken hand, wailed in pain and agony! Moxar only felt a light push on his face when the chief punched his face, which also greatly surprised him.

Moxars eyes narrowed as he thought to himself,"He is this weak? Or am I that strong?"

The chief, now enraged beyond reason at his broken hand, screamed out,"Warriors! Guards! Slaves! Kill this fucker!" The chief, although enraged, made sure to call everyone to kill this disobedient goblin slave!

Now, with the addition of the new goblins, all of the remaining goblins not out on expeditions had come into the chief's quarters. As the chief had a slave help him with his broken hand, Moxar stared at him.

As Moxar was still in battle, his thinking speed had not decreased yet, so this entire time, he had been trying to understand the power that constricted him. This was likely something having to do with the chief's talent, and although it was certainly powerful, Moxar didn't believe there was no way to escape, so Moxar kept searching his body within.

As the over 100 goblins surrounded him in a big hunting formation, Moxar finally found a weakness within the spell.

The problem however was the weakness, as although it is there and feelable with his new powers, it only seemingly only accepted a little bit of his new energy, which slowly broke the spell as Moxar tried to exploit the hidden weakness.

Jay watched the battle along with Star, Levi, and Centi as the trio had been greatly interested in the first sentient to unlock a power system.

They watched as the 100 goblins surrounded Moxar, and Star worriedly asked,"Father? Is that awakened going to survive this?"

Jay chuckled and said,"I believe he will. Moxar was lucky to be born with a talent that matches his earnest and hardworking personality, so I believe in his newfound strength. The only problem Moxar is currently dealing with is the goblin chiefs talent [Hail to the chief]."

Centi asked,"Dad, I don't understand, from my view, the talent seal should be completely impenetrable. How can this newly awakened goblin, who had barely had time to even comprehend the new state of his body, possibly overcome it?"

Jay smiled and replied,"Wow! Look at the big brain on Centi!"

Centi blushed a shade of blue on his red-purple carapace face, and quietly responded,"Thank you dad, but can you explain it?" Centi was very curious how Jay expected Moxar to get out of the seal of the chief's talent.

Jay smirked and said to the three of them sitting there with him,"Well, first off, you are correct in assuming that the chief's talent is unbreakable."

Centi, now very confused, simply asked,"Please explain?"

Jay waved his hand and said,"Hold on, hold on, I'm getting to that. What I mean is that the talent is unbreakable for goblins within the same realm of power as the goblin chief!"

Stars eyes widened and she hurriedly asked,"Wait, do you mean that because Moxar broke through just now, and because he is significantly more powerful than the chief, he will be able to break the seal with his pure strength?"

Jay chuckled and gave Star's head a good stroke as he praised her, saying,"Very good deduction there Star! Yes, because he is now way more powerful, he should be able to get out of the seal. Whether he can or not is up to him."

Centi then said,"You said that was the first reason, was there a second?"

Jay nodded and happily replied,"Of course! It makes sense the instant you understand anything about Soul Arts. How can a Soul Arts Master not even have control over his own soul?" The 3 instantly were enlightened.
