DAY 1

It took a lot of convincing, but they eventually followed my guidance. Or rather, the training method given by Lord Kamiryuu.

Note to self, I need to work on my phrasing. After I reflected a bit, I realized I sound like those Alba Stella organ traffickers.

Anyway, the new training session commences. Yet, it didn't show immediate results.

Lord Kamiryuu theorised that, there must be a connection between the body and the core through the heart. How else would these Helldoor army's cores accumulate energy?

So, there should be a connection. And if physical energy could travel to the energy core, the bridge could also logically transport the energy inside the core to the entire body.

Unfortunately, nothing happened.

I have prepared myself for this. But I couldn't help but to be disappointed. If there's no tangible result, even a tiny bit, it will be hard to ask them to continue with it.

DAY 4

We finally did it! Somebody finally managed to reverse the energy connection!

I was getting anxious. I could see the frustration in everybody's eyes. Reminds me of the story when one of the ancestors of Vigo family healers thought she had found a way to regrow severed limbs.

Sadly, her idea was way ahead of her time. Her vision did not match the development of magic. So she failed, and was treated as a dreamer instead of a visionary. Only now could the Vigors and the rest of Solum healers easily regrow limbs.

Decades after her experiments.

I would hate for this bright idea bestowed by the Holy Dragon to receive the same treatment. To be treated as mere fairy tales.

Thankfully, today, I don't have to be anxious anymore.

It worked!

The energy in the core could be redirected back into the body. Hitchhiking into the blood and its vessels.

But I cannot be too jubilant about it. Only one person managed to do so. And although it was miraculous enough, I was afraid for it to turn into a fluke. A beginner's luck.

Hopefully later, more and more people will be able to utilize their Energy Cores.

For now, I think it will be okay to celebrate her groundbreaking achievement. Although it is still too early to be excited, I can't help it. I am excited. And looking forward to what kind of power they would possess.

DAY 16

Success!!!

Major success!!!

All eight members of the group have successfully reversed the flow of energy. Right now their entire body is powered by the energy from their core. The only drawback is that they need to alternate between using their core energy and to wait for it to refill.

But that's the only drawback. It's not that bad.

The important thing is that they can now use their core energy. And they have awakened their own elemental powers as well.

Mind you, they can only use the aura skills only. It is a bit of a bummer, but they don't seem to mind. So who am I to complain?

Ida and Nina’s cores were both Fire elementals. They are brimming with energy, like a Phoenix's auror. Their punch and kick could even produce occasional burn marks. Too bad they can't use Fire Slash or other weapon based aura skills.

Muir and Jorah were the gentlemen of Water. Their Water cores turned them flexible. Their body allowed their attacks to be even more varied than usual. But again, the spears of Water aurors cannot bring the maximum potential of these men.

Chantal, Omala and Peter have practically turned into shields. Their skins have become impenetrable to weapons. It is yet unknown to what degree they can resist the attacks. But this is already great. And since in Helldoor, the Earth core is basically the healer and the tank of the unit, this ability is perfect for them.

Kylo is the only one with a Wind Core in the group. And he had turned into a ghost. He is damn near invisible. All eight of us stood with our backs against each other in a circle. There's only a gap wide enough for an adult between us.

And still he could sit on the chair in the middle. His ability is the most shocking of all.

I am very excited about this progress. If Lord Kamiryuu was here, I would've asked my mother to cook her anything she wanted to eat as a reward.

P/s: I should make a trip to Ivaldi Village. Uncle Brokkr knows a lot about weapons. I'm sure he would know of much better weapons for these new and improve Helldoor soldiers.
