Running Toward Lethos
Spider had thought of the plan simply enough after he assessed their abilities.
Viena would scout ahead with her nose, Roger would watch her flank from slightly behind her and Nella would lead from behind him.
When he broke down the plan to the team they had all nodded, but the frowns on his two new companions showed they saw the gap.
Vienna spoke up. "Spider, what will you be doing? " She asked, tilting her head.
Spider smiled softly.
"Thinning the competition. "

Charlie was having a bad day.
He had a cut on his leg that had been loosely bleeding for hours, courtesy of his fight to the death, and finding out 'she' had died had left a cut on his mental he wasn't sure would heal anytime soon either.
Charlie sighed. His pounding head, was making him hesitate. He couldn't hesitate out here. He was a level two of Devil's Dream! All he had to do was make it to Lethos and he was a changed man.
He unzipped his belt buckle and tilted back his head in relief.
'Ahhhhhh. '

As he felt sweet relief he fell into the dreams of piles of silver and the wide hips he would purchase for himself. His face fell into a sleezy smile.
Then it was stuck that way. Permanently. A stain of blood burped out of his mouth as Charlie ceased to function.

Spider ripped the still buckled blade off the dead mans back before glimpsing again at the man's expression.
'What a sleezy guy.' He thought looking at the man's face before falling back into the bushes.
He had killed three people now and still hadn't run into a good fight yet. Something like that tended to make most people comfortable but it made him frown.
If too many died so early they would put thier guards up. With a small contemplation he decided he would fall back for now, and strike again later.
Then his vision blacked.
When his vision returned he was rolling on the floor, some feet away.
The ground in front of him rumbled a little.
'Shit. ' He thought.
He turned his body just narrowly avoiding the ground in it's flight from the earth.
The wind wooshed as the block narrowly passed by his nose.
Spider flipped back a few times and assed the situation from a crouch.
"Look at those moves, Vick. The kid sure can move. " A mischievous voice echoed out.
" ...Pay attention. You could die you know? "
"Ahhh. With both of us here? you worry too much Vick."
"You don't worry enough Brovy."
Two shadows crawled out the brush. One shirtless and one with eyes of green that swirled mystically.
'Fuck.' Spider thought. He knew these two.
Just like him they had made a name for themselves early, but their methods were different. Spider frowned. '
How was he going to deal with two Mages?
