Chapter 14- Dia's Strength

Dia's strength

Besides the large gates that stretched 50 feet high the giants were relatively small. Roughly half the size in fact. Their width however was a different story. Each muscle on their body had the thickness of a carriage and rippling veins that could match a horse's legs after a full run.

"......"

"Dia you've returned! We've missed you! "

One of the giants exclaimed to the heavens and lowered his head to get a better look at the swordswoman, A big grin smacking his relatively rough features.

The other looked away, stubbornly crossing his arms and looking into the sky with a scowl on his face.

The swordswoman looked up at this giant and made an annoyed "tsk."

"What's eating you Jahseh? " When the giant ignored her the woman walked up to him and kicked him in his large toe, which stood open to the elements with only a patch of sandal beneath them.

The giant roared in pain, leaping up in pain and jumping on one leg.

Spider winced . She was even stronger than he thought.

The giant with the large grin began to laugh deeply, so deeply that the earth began to shake.

"Tsk, Stokely you're hurting my ears. "

Stokely the giant laughed even louder, before rubbing his eyes and stopping with a "whew" that blew a gust of wind forward.

The swordswoman sighed a little. "What's eating him," She said pointing to the giant who had once again a sour expression painted on his features.

He lowered his voice to the giant’s equivalent of a whisper which was really just a normal talking volume."He's just lonely that you left Dia, you know how he gets. "

"Oi, I heard that! I've not been lonely, I've been bored! '' Jashesh exclaimed in retaliation.

"Bwahahahahha! So you say Jashesh, so you say."

"Ya know what Stokely !!!! I've had it with you. "

A large hand fell upon Stokely with a sizable force that boomed across the land.

Stokely tumbled into the gate loudly . "You've done it now! " With a slight running start Stokely barreled forward and thrust his foot at Jashesh midsection.

The giant took the kick with a grunt before falling on a knee.

"Bwahahahahha that'll teach yo-"

An uppercut that catapulted with the sound of a small boom hit his jaw.

Soon both the giants had exchanged ten blows and fell into a brutal wrestling match that was getting dangerously close to crushing several of the recruits.

A large vein began pulsing on Dias head.

"Cut that shit out! "

With a leap she was in the air and with both fist coiled back as far as humanly possible she thrust her hands forward on the chins of the giants.

They tumbled onto the floor.

"Open the dang gates!"

"Yes, Dia."

"Yes, Dia."

With matching pouts and mumbles the large gates began to give way to the force of the large men, stopping only when they had opened as wide as they could go.

She turned to the recruits, her head still pulsing with a large vein. "Anyone else need to be persuaded? "

The recruits were through with a quickness.

As Spider passed by the swordswoman he could hear her consoling the two giants.

"I'll come visit you guys later alright. So stop with that pouting shit Jashesh."

Spider fell into thoughtfulness as he heard that. 'So she doeshave a heart.'

Then his eyes looked forward at the large mansion. It's gargantuan stature still settling on his mind.

'So this was to be his new home huh.'

The main doors of said mansion were purple and wide standing thirty feet tall. However unlike the gates these were opened by a human.

A small one in fact, with blonde twin tails in their hair and a nervous look on their face. She turned back as the door opened speaking to someone behind her.

"Th- The ne- new cloaks are here. " her voice cracked in high pitch waves as she spoke.

"Finally, "

"Was getting bored waiting here. "

"Fuck yea, fresh meat. "

The door was kicked open wide and a small group of people revealed themselves. They seemed to be around 16 or older, Spider guessed.

A little older than the recruits themselves.

One of the group , a rowdy looking boy with wide spiky hair that stuck into the air came forward.

"Well fresh meat. Congratulations on making it. We're here to show you guys the tour. Try not to die while we walk around. "

"Master Dia, am I good to take it from here?" He asked the swordswoman who approached with a tired look on her face.

"Yea. '' She said walking past, "They're all yours. If any of them die, before the initiation tonight I'll be taking it out of your pay." Then she simply disappeared as she passed through the large crack in the wide doors.

The boy scratched his head.

"Well." he said, turning to them. "Try not to die. "
