Senator Davies approached Timur cautiously, who was watching the sunset from the balcony of his penthouse. He knew the man didn’t like to be interrupted.
“I trust the extraction went well?” Timur turned on his heel and acknowledged his presence.
“Without a hitch.” Senator Davies said. “We were able to obtain the necessary codes to activate the machine.”
“Excellent.”
“And here’s something else that might interest you.” He pulled an old laptop out of his bag. “Do you mind if I sit?”
Timur nodded.
Senator Davies booted up the laptop and logged into the NSA’s GFID Nano-chip tracking software. He then slid the laptop toward Timur.
“It seems that not only is a certain friend of ours still alive, but she seems to be flying an unregistered aircraft in our direction.”
Timur stared at the screen with a look of shock on his face.
“Assemble the Creed,” Timur commanded. “Looks like we’ve got a woman and her dragon to catch.”
Senator Davies looked alarmed. “She brought a dragon to Earth?!”
“It would appear so, yes.”
“How are we supposed to catch that?”
“Get creative.”

The dark streets of Chicago were illuminated by the bright lights of the bars, restaurants, and clubs on every corner. Senator Davies walked down the street with his arms crossed as he kept tabs on Lily's GFID tracker.
He tried to keep the apprehension out of his face, but it wouldn't go away. He had no idea what they were going to do once they caught her. Could they get her to surrender peacefully or would she have to be taken down by force?

Senator Davies was sweating bullets. The thought of killing a mythical creature whose existence he now knew to be true made him sick to his stomach.
But he couldn't let it stop him. It wasn't his job to make moral decisions for others, simply enforce them.
"Senator," one of his men called. "I think I spotted them!”
Davies turned his attention to the source of the voice and saw two men walking around a corner. One of them held up a cellphone, pointing it at the sky.
Davies followed their gaze to see a massive dragon soaring through the city. He could even make out a human figure riding its back.
"Amazing!" he exclaimed.
“Looks like they’re headed for the FBI headquarters building downtown."
A disturbing thought crossed his mind.
She’s headed to the underground headquarters of the NSA!
Just an hour earlier he and his men had stormed the NSA building looking for answers about the GFID tracking software. If she landed there, she would undoubtedly find the bodies of the agents they had slaughtered.
His men rushed ahead, following the dragon as she flew over the city. They split up to avoid being seen and hid behind some buildings as they waited for her to arrive.
Finally, the dragon came into view again, landing in front of the FBI building.
They crept up behind the building and watched Lily dismount off the dragon's back, and together they entered the parking garage.
"What do we do?" one of his men asked nervously.
“We need a bigger cage!” another whispered, “That thing’s bigger than we anticipated!”
“Can you guys just shut up and do your jobs?”
Davies looked around himself, trying to stay calm. He didn't want to give away their presence too soon.
“Sir! Do you know where we can get a bigger cage?”
"We’ll just have to get more chains." Davies replied. "Set up a perimeter. We don't want them escaping."
"Yes sir!"
The senator waved his hand at his men and they quickly got to work securing the area. As they set up their equipment, Davies gave a signal to his other men and they began to approach the building.
One of them paused before entering the parking garage.
"Are you sure this is the best plan? Maybe we should call in more reinforcements..."
"Don't worry," Davies reassured him. "We've got this. Just focus on getting the dragon secured. I'll handle the rest."
The man nodded and disappeared inside the structure.
Senator Davies and his remaining men approached the building from the side, making sure to stay hidden.
Once they were close enough, he signaled the others to come forward.
They took up positions around the parking structure and spread out to cover all angles.
Senator Davies held his breath as he crept up to the entryway, silently counting down to when he would rush in with his men.
