Ch.48 Missing him

Ch.48 Missing him

Felix looked at Zion, his nephew didn't look disappointed. Felix didn't know why his nephew was relaxed. No matter how outstanding of a youngster he was, he was still a teenager. He was currently facing a bigger problem than any normal human could handle.

" Zion, if I find anything that will help. I will use all of my capabilities to bring you out. I promise you " Felix swore to himself, gripping his fist tightly.

Brayden looked at Zion, he couldn't help but admire this older nephew of his, he had the whole world against him. The pressure he was carrying, Brayden couldn't possibly imagine. They were just a few years apart but Zion was someone that even adults looked up to.

The Grifons said their goodbyes and once again Zion was left all alone in the dungeon. The darkness descended as all the torches went out. Zion opened his eyes and purplish lighting went across his iris. Zion closed his eyes again, sleeping peacefully. He didn't know how or when but he was sure he would get out of this place in one piece.

---At Claustar

A new plate sphere-looking object came from the black orb. The sphere had all the names and their rank. Something unusual was happening as a new name flicked into the sphere before stabilizing itself. This name was none other than Zion himself. He was the first to get his name written without touching the black pillars at the front gate.

13 hours went by in silence. Everyone was sleeping, first ones to wake up were the children before everyone else woke up one by one. Everyone could notice something had changed about themself. Few could only notice that their mental power was higher.

Moon finally woke up from his slumber. Nothing much had changed from his usual self. Just another normal Cloud he thought. Everyone got back to their normal routine, from hunting to training. Claustar current location was in the outer region. There was no competition nor anything that could threaten the clan members.

One of the children that were from the Thundersons saw someone's familiar name on the sphere. Everyone who had their name on this sphere had touched the pillar. The kids told their parents and the parents told each other, before long this had reached Val's ears. Vals was working on the Thundersons future.

There were still many estates and hidden fortunes of Thundersons, they would all be recovered into the Claustar. When Val heard this fact that was circling, he looked at the new sphere plate. His name and others were still intact but now there was one additional name on the plate, Zion.

Just like others Val knew the one who had their name on the plate had to have touched the black pillar, just outside the walls before entering. Then their name would be registered on the plate. Vall dropped the papers that he had in his hand and ran, yelling Zion's name. No matter who Val had asked, nobody had seen Zion in Claustar. Vall didn't give up and continued to look for Zion for hours before coming in the terms that Zion truly wasn't inside the Claustar.

Elder Green came to talk to Val. He knew exactly how much Val loved his son and it wasn't only him, every Thunderson loved Zion. He was truly their saviour when they needed in their most needed time. He was a hero , the children and adults alike respected him.

" Maybe he went outside to hunt, he could be returning soon to Claustar" Elder Green said hopefully. Val knew Zion's personality, he wouldn't have left before paying his respects to his family. Even knowing this, Val still said " Zion, that brat went hunting for food. We already have enough food in the house"

The evening came and there still wasn't any sign that Zion would be returning soon. Moon came down, even he had heard of Zion. Unfortunately, it seemed something was wrong. Moon went to the black pillar, He had a connection to Cluster. With just one touch, he could tell Zion hadn't touched the pillar. No matter how many hours and days Vall waited he would be meeting Zion.

Moon had to tell him" Val, Zion wasn't here in the first place. He can't come back. I promise you, someday, we will bring him home"

Val silently looked down before raising his head again. Zion wasn't here now but he will be someday. Even if he turned the world upside down, he would make sure that happened. As his father, it was his duty to protect him but Zion had done what a father should have done.

Val steeled his heart, now wasn't the time to get weak but get stronger. Elder Green and Val once again entered the cycle of training and sleeping. Staying in the outer region was safe but took more time to get stronger. Val was the first one to suggest heading into the middle, unsurprisingly Raiz and Aurora agreed. Everyone else followed soon enough.

As much as they all wanted to gain experience in the middle, they had to leave at least 2 Myr realms in Claustar. Moon would be training intensely in Infinity and from what they heard, it was harder for him to divide his attention while entering higher stages.

" Since everybody can go, you can take turns. The first ones will be chosen randomly. Everybody get in a circle. " Everybody listened. Moon picked a random rock and threw it in the air" The two that are closest to the rock will be the first ones to take the turn. The order will continue as such, the closer to the rock, the earlier your turn as pairs "

The first two pairs to stay behind turned out to be Brav and Neon. Neon did something untypical as he asked if Alia could change spots with her. Alia didn't mind, before Neon and others headed into the forest. Neon gave a wink saying good luck.Brav put his thumps up, fully appreciating Neon's gesture.

Moon reran into the infinity, the beautiful space. He had noticed something very bizarre, his current stage was now the ninth stage peak. He was just a hair away from entering Myr's realm. He was perplexed by this but welcomed it, he could only guess this had something to do with his development when his mana was sealed.

Unexpected or not, this was a favourable development, he was just one step away from Myr realm. Unfortunately, that step was as huge as a mountain. Moon didn't know where to begin from. Not knowing what to do was frustrating, you know your goals but are clueless as to how to get there. There was only one solution, you have to make your own path.

As Moon was approaching with different methods to go with, someone was calling for him. Skele had gone to the closest city to look for any information, his complex didn't look any good. Moon went out to meet him.

"Skele what happened, did you enter into a fight, you don't look alright "

"It's not a fight that am worried about. When I went back into the city, I found information that made our plan very dangerous. This information was easy to find since nobles were purposely spreading it. Zion had been moved to a dangerous island. This island is where real royalties had kept dangerous individuals. There's a whole army guarding anyone from entering and leaving without permission."

" This army was made from the strongest unit, all nobles combined forces. It's all just in case Thundersons appear to try to save him. The scroll has that much value to the world. Fortunately, the nobles kept this information to themself. We have a chance in this remote land but the army consisting of the strongest is something we currently can't handle"

" Compared to Raiz, how strong is their strongest, hopefully its not a hopeless?" Moon asked

" In that army, currently there are many that are stronger than Raiz and the strongest is at the ninth stage of Myr realm. Some even say he is peak ninth Myr" Skele answered.

"That's a whole realm above me and if there are many 7th and 8th stages, we would definetly be defeated" This complicated things as Moon had intended to ge Zion as soon as possible. It would have been better if it was a place where they could sneak into but how can you sneak into an island?

Moon looked at the sky" Something that could pass by them, without being noticed" Something clicked in his mind " Skele I have a plan to get us there without being noticed but first we need to grind everyone. Everyone that's going, needs to be 8th stage Myr at least" and for me to get into the Myr realm, Moon added to himself. Moon now didn't truly have time, nobles could decide to use harsh methods on Zion to obtain the scroll.
