Skele who was walking, arrived where the explosion happened. There was no sign of life left. The wind unrooted all the trees nearby. That itself showed how powerful it was. The more Skele thought, the more he was truly thankful for the anonymous powerhouse saving everybody's lives.
He was heading first to Veor, the city closest to the forest. The city he wanted to go to was a little further away from Veor. Skele knew the Thundersons were chased away from Veor and before he left, Val asked to keep an eye out for any news, concerning his son.
It took some time before Skele was in Veor. When a family was uprooted from a city and f all the big families agreed upon that. It was unlikely Val's son was still alive and well. He was even thinking of skipping and going straight to the next city but remembering the earnest look Val gave him, hr couldn't bring himself to.
It was just a little search, it wouldn't take much time anyway. And that's how Skele convinced himself, as he started searching officially. Thanks to Skele's ability to teleport, it wouldnt be difficult. The reason Thunderson was chased away, was the families behind the curtains. If somehow Zion was still alive, one of those families would have kept him.
He started sneaking into their mansions one by one, hoping to get any information. Skele went around different rich family mansions but not one person was talking about Thundersons. Considering the Thundersons were one of the big families of Veor, it was strange that not one person was talking about them.
It turned into night time and Skele was thinking of looking for a place to sleep, when another big mansion came into his view. One last try, he thought. He teleported inside a room and started looking for any documents related to Thundersons. While he was busy going room to room. He heard people walking towards him and hid behind one of the curtains.
They were two young men, talking mischievously about how they tortured one of their servants, for pure fun. There were always some spoiled rotten rich brats since the beginning of ages. As Skele was hopelessly listening to their idiotic acts. One of the men whispered " I know why the Thundersons were cast out "
Finally, there was some use in this nonsense rambling. He was listening as carefully as he could. " Big brother, Father forbid us not to talk about Thundersons"
"Don't worry, there are only two of us here, who would know what we're talking about?" The bigger brother said confidently. Skele was especially cheering for the bigger brother to continue his story. The younger looked around and the empty room gave him a confidence.
" You know how they say Thundersons committed a crime by smuggling humans? That was a complete lie made by the big families" After making sure his little brother understood he continued" There was a treasure the Thundersons had and they wanted to keep it all to themself. If they weren't greedy, they wouldn't have been brought to such a destruction " The bigger brother sneered.
The little brother thought for while " Just how big was the treasure that caused such a big family to be destroyed"
" Father was really adamant about talking, what the treasure was. The only ones who knew, were the Thundersons and they have already escaped " Just as he was saying, a memory flashed into his mind.

One night, he was strolling half asleep to bathroom. Upon trying to return, a whisper was heard from downstairs. He slowly went downstairs and followed the sound. It led to his father's workroom. He peaked from the slightly open door.
A man was facing his father. All he could see was his back. The man and his father were talking about someone. The man said with a hoarse sound" Sir, the Thundersons all left, except the young man Zion. As he is locked currently in that prison, why aren't we torturing him"
His father looked at the man and said" You may not know this but the head of Thundersons was changed and the one who is the current head is that exact young man.
The man was even more confused. If he was the head, he was likely to know the information they wanted. Why wasnt anyone trying to get that information from him?
" I know why you are confused but we really can't touch him. He is favoured by one of the 5 top sects in the kingdom. One of the 5 sects' elder wants to invite him to join his sect" The bigger brother heard what the father said and almost made a sound.
The man couldn't help but frown" If that's truly true, aren't we jeopardizing our future by destroying the Thundersons?"
" That would have been true but at the time, Zion was asked to join the sect. He actually declined. Being young talent coveted by a big sect, must have gotten to his head. The Thundersons would have never gotten to this point if he only accepted" The father evilly laughed
"That's why everyone was told to keep quiet about Thunderson. If the elder decides to use this chance to invite Zion again. It would be unlikely he would reject and that would be our destruction" The Man said astonishingly.
Coming back from his memories. The bigger brother told his younger brother. Not only the younger brother but Skele, who almost made a shocking sound. To have one of the top 5 sects elder personally invite you, tells the imminent talent Zion is carrying.
Now that,he unexpectedly had a huge harvest. Skele teleported out from the mansion. He went inside and came out without anyone noticing him. Now that he had achieved his goal, he could get one night's sleep ,before heading to next town.
-----------At Claustar
Someone was waiting eagerly at the arrival of the morning. After hearing from Skele that the orcs had captured wolves and were trying to tame them. Nero wanted immediately to save them on the same day. Unfortunately, he couldn't do as he wanted,Raiz advised against going alone.
Moon was still training and it was still dangerous to go outside . If another attack happened while he was outside, the survival rate was slim. If he wanted to go out, he had to wait until Moon came out. When Moon came out, it was already a night.
Nero unwillingly, went to sleep. The next morning came and Nero woke up in excitement. He eagerly waited at the gate.Luckily for Nero, Moon was a full-fledged cloud. He slept for fun and actually didn't need to. When he saw Nero at the gate, he went towards him.
Nero and Moon slowly went towards, where skele pointed them to. At first, it was a slow walk but Nero kept the pace up and before long he was fully sprinting. Moon who was flying next to Nero could see how anxious he was. If Moon remembered, Nero didn't have any relatives alive.
This was a world was a world, where the strong came at the top. World of the fittest. Moon couldn't understand something. Nero survived by himself , since he was a little and had nobody to rely upon. Nero knew more than anyone ,what the definition of "Survival of the fittest" truly meant. Moon was genuinely curious
" Why are you worried about wolf's,you barely know?"
Nero looked back at Moon and said" Ever since I was little, every move of mine was towards survival. Just one mistake could have ended my life. I was truly happy to have met you and others and if possible i don't want any other wolf to go through what I did"
Moon was almost flabbergasted, as he looked at the odd wolf. To have such a pure heart in this world, was truly something else. For some reason, this made his non-existent cloud heart warm.
As they finally came to their destination. The place looked like a poor village that was abandoned. There were few orcs guarding the place. Nero didn't want to kill them considering, how he killed many of the orcs in the battle already.
Two thousand orcs were lost in that battle. Nero didn't feel it was necessary to add more numbers now. He just wanted to save the wolves and go back home. He slowly went inside and the orcs guarding the entrance recognized the wolf.
Moon was flying in the sky, observing everything. Nero was dragged by one of the orcs. They thought Nero escaped and brought him back. Nero didn't resist and let them bring him, to where the other wolves were.
Looking at the wolves that were free, he couldn't understand why they didn't run. Considering there were only 5 orcs and they were over 50 wolves. This was the perfect chance run. The wolfs weren't locked or chained at all. He went to the closest wolf and asked.
" You must be a new one. This is a great chance, almost all of the orcs left but unfortunately, we can't. They have our pups poisoned somewhere. If we escape, they will kill our little babies"The wolf said, resigning to his fate.
