As Chaos proceeded to Silesia, they spotted a few more troll's corpses. I seemed like that patrol wasn't as weak as they've seen so far. Demon once again was on the lead. Samukai was already thinking about what to do when they will be really close to the town. An obvious thing was casting arts of the shadow theater. Second thing was hoping that Phantom will stick to his promise to not destroy Silesia immediately.

Phantasm was thinking if there will be any spells above the fourth tier. Hell, it would be a miracle if they will have third tier spells. Also he wondered when Andras would come back. If he ever will. Demon had a little hope that there would be another legion to fight, or maybe those who survived the black comet called someone stronger. He was ready to take dominions anytime. If they don't, he will need to make a bigger mess. And Silesia is perfect to do that. Or rather will be after checking. At one point he disagreed with samurai about not destroying the town immediately, but on the other hand he will have more time to plan a better massacre. And maybe do something about this chaos.

- So what do we do about that demon?- Noktum asked.

- We will wait for a while. Few minutes. If he isn't going to come back in those minutes, we are going to the town. He isn't stupid so he should know where we will be

- Fine by me- warrior agreed.

While Chaos was busy resting and waiting for Andras, Beelzebub made his way to Lucifer. He had an important question that couldn't wait, no matter what the king was doing right now.

When he was in the hall leading to the throne room, he spotted Andras flying as fast as it was possible to the Phantasm's room.

Lord of the flies stopped him wondering what he might've wanted.

- Why are you going to his room?

- Phantasm asked me to bring all of his books

- And why would he need them- Beelzebub was getting more and more suspicious.

- This probably have to be something with those followers of him

Followers? Is he talking about the team that Lucifer has given him? Lord of flies thought while scratching his chin.

- Fine, go

- One question

- What?

- How can I go back to earth?

- Stone circle, I think that you should feel it

- Understood

Andras then stormed into the demon's room as fast as lighting and stormed out with books at a similar pace.

Beelzebub then went to the throne room, but Lucifer wasn't there. That left only an option. He probably was in his room. The Prince of Hell went past the throne and opened another door, smaller than to the throne room, but still quite massive.

He stood in the doorway and looked at the scenery that he was already familiar with.

Lucifer was lying on his bed, made of bones on which skin was placed, together with many succubuses. None of them even noticed that the lord of flies was standing there.

That was until Beelzebub coughed , announcing his presence.

Lucifer looked at him quite mad and said:

- What do you want? Can't you see that I'm a little busy?

- There is something that I need to know

- Go ask Haures, he shall know an answer for whatever question you have

- Lucifer, I need an answer from you

Lucifer got up with a loud groan. All succubuses were disappointed that their master had to leave so early and all of them sent dirty looks to the lord of flies.

- You will need to wait, because someone don't know to not disturb his king when he is busy- after ending this sentence, Morningstar send Beelzebub a look that send chills down his spine.

They both walked out of the room. Lucifer made sure that doors were closed.

- So what do you want?- he started- I swear, it better be something important

- Just what team have you formed for Phantasm

- You know, just gave him something that I won't have much use of

- Yes, why? I could've joined him, Eligor probably would have been interested. Even Lamb might've gone if he heard that I will go too. So why have you given him newbies that have never been on such an important mission?

- He himself asked for a team, so I gave him one. He didn't said that they have to be experienced in battle

- What are you planning?

- Nothing, just shortening his temper. He can't grow too full of himself- Lucifer there chuckled- we wouldn't want a challenger for the throne, do we?

- You seriously think that Phantasm could betray you? He wouldn't do that

- I know this, but better be safe than sorry- Morningstar's tone suddenly changed- Now get out of my eyes! And don't disturb me unless you actually have something important to say or ask! This time I will forget about this, but next time I will make sure that you'll have one leg less!

Lord of flies immediately backed off, not wanting to disturb Lucifer more this day.

On the earth Chaos was getting ready to continue their journey to Silesia. They didn't make even a good few meters, when a portal opened and Andras flew out with many, many books. He handed all of them to Phantasm and then vanished from sight.

Demon gave all the books to Noktum, who packed them into the bag.

As they were closer to the town, the demon got a familiar feeling, an aura that he knew too well was coming from the direction of Silesia. At first he couldn't believe it, after all what she would do there. Yet it was the same aura, the same smell of elderberry that he was more than familiar with. Silesia could wait and live for a little more time. He found something much more important to do and he is going to enjoy this.

- Now we go a little to the right- he exclaimed.

- Why? Silesia is now a good ten minutes from there- Samukai was quite curious about what the demon was planning now.

- This thing is a little more important. But it will be an adult thing, so don't interfere- a small smile appeared on his face. This smile hid something behind it, yet samurai couldn't say what it was exactly.

Silesia was rather peaceful. Or it was until the news about the demons. People were talking about how they got to Baszta. Captain Victor said that they were already dealt with. And while most of the townsfolk believed him, some thought that it may not be true. Especially one which lived further from the town.

Lilith knew that something wasn't right. She could feel that Victor was lying. Those demons were not dealt with. Those weren’t even demons, but one. She guessed which one it could be, but hoped that she was wrong. After all, what could he do there?

And yet, she felt like something horribly wrong would happen today. But maybe it was only her imagination, it had to be. There would be much, much more news about some demon raging around if that monster was there. He couldn't sit on his ass for a few minutes without destroying anything. It seemed like she herself was being paranoid without a reason. She only needed to calm down and be reasonable. And even if he was there, what could he want from her? There's nothing that she had that could interest him.

Even after all that convincing about him not being there, she still felt her hands shaking.

- Come on Lilith, just sit down and rest for a while- she said while trying to calm herself.

While she sat down and tried to forget about the feeling of something going wrong, somebody knocked on the door.

Rest of the Chaos were really curious about why their leader wanted to go to the wooden house further from the town. Samukai thought that this building looked cozy and wondered who could live there

Phantasm knocked on the door. Nobody answered. He knocked again. This time he heard someone moving inside. The person who opened the doors looked like she saw a ghost.

Right before the demon stood a woman of a medium size. Her skin was ashen pale, a body that resembled an hourglass. Her hair was long and black as coal. Her eyes green. She wore an elegant, black dress with golden elements. Samukai was sure that she could rival the Aphrodite as the goddess of beauty. And in moments like that, he wished that he still had his body.

But, he still didn't know what Phantom could've wanted from her.

- What are you doing there?- she asked, trying to hide her anxiousness by putting on a much more annoyed tone of voice, yet the samurai noticed that her hand was shaking.

- You know, we just have been passing by and thought why not pay a visit- the demon's voice was unnaturally friendly. Something was wrong.

- You've visited, now be a dear and go in your own way- Lilith tried to close the door, but the demon summoned his scythe and blocked them, before they could shut.

- Are you not going to invite us?- that "us" was something that shocked her. Just who would have been so stupid to go with that monster.

- Us? What us?- succubus, confused by what he meant. Then she noticed a one eyed shadow in purple robes, samurai armor and hell hound. Rather weird team for him to have.

- Fine, but only because I want to warn them about you- she looked into the soulless eyes of Phantasm.

- Oh, I assure you that there is nothing to warn them about. If they will be good soldiers and listen to my orders, nothing will happen to them- his tone of voice now was much colder than before- what are you waiting for? Get in

Chaos was now sitting in Lilith's house. House itself was small so Samukai casted arts of shadow theater on Fenfir, so the hellhound could get inside.

Samukai, Noktum and Lilith were sitting on the chairs near the table and Phantom, due to his huge body, made himself comfortable on the floor.

- So, why have you joined to him- succubus asked, trying to break the ice.

- It was from Lucifer's order- Samukai explained.

- Even after all of this he gave you another team?- she looked at the demon.

- A team that I might have a use for. Not like the last time

- Last time?- Noktum asked.

- Remember when I told you about my previous team?- both shadow and warrior nodded- well, here is one of the survivors- demon said with a hint of venom in his words.

- And what are you doing there? Destroying Baszta was not enough for you?- Lilith asked, trying to change the subject.

- Heh, you already know about that village

- Silesia does have people with telepathy, you know. And news like that spread quite fast here. So do you want to destroy it too?

- Maybe, but I came to see an old friend. Or rather a bitch who cost me my honor and lives of nearly all from my previous team- while Phantom spoke with a smile, samurai was more than sure that if he had collected the venom dripping from him, he would get a rather powerful poison. Although he had to say that those were some pretty hard accusations. Granted that he knew Lilith for a brief few seconds, but she didn’t really seem like someone who would be responsible for something like that. Seeing the confused faces of his teammates he continued.

- That reminds me, I never told how even my past team is now rotting six feet underground. Well how about you ask the main culprit herself. Or maybe I should tell you it went?- both the magician and the warrior stayed silent, not knowing how to answer that. But it seemed as if Phantom took their silence as yes.

- Well, she led us straight into an ambush that she couldn’t spot, despite it being her only task. Want to know why?- his teammates still stayed silent, while Lilith now looked as if she was about to cry- That’s because this whore isn’t even a true demon!- at this point Samukai felt like just straight up thrusting Izanagi into the demon's tail and leaving. For someone who apparently was busy with carrying on the most important mission given to them by the oh so great lord, Phantom had a lot of time to berate the succubus. He should have known that the demon wouldn’t make it a peaceful visit.

- Now don’t be so shocked, she is a succubus afterall. Which, of course, means that she became a demon because she couldn’t get enough “pleasure”, if you know what I mean- another smirk appeared on his face.

- Samukai, what are they talking about?- Noktum whispered to the samurai, who barely made out what the shadow was saying to him. Now how could he answer that in a way that he would understand? And if he was to consider Noktum’s age…which led the warrior to question how old the shadow really was.

- I’ll tell you once you are older- an answer as old as the world, but it always worked.

- Shut up!- Lilith stood up from the chair, slamming her hands on the wooden table, nearly breaking it. Demon only laughed at that. But this commotion finally got the attention of another demon that lived in the house. The wooden door opened and from behind came a small black haired girl, dressed in white dress, rubbing her sleepy eyes.

- Mama, why are you screaming?- her big blue eyes were now focused on the new strangers in mama’s house- It is because of the dumb mean snake, right?

- Oh? So you are teaching her to hate me? This is how a good mother would act, right?- the succubus only shot him a gaze that made him lose his smirk, and went over to the little girl.

- Lilim, can you go to your room for now? I promise that mama will be back soon- Lilim only grabbed the older woman's hand and whimpered. Lilith knew what that meant and went together with her daughter to the other room. This gave Chaos a while to talk between themselves.

- The hell you snake, what’s the point to that?

- What do you mean? I am just teaching you about who not to trust

- By calling her a slut?

- That’s a well deserved name. She is the reason why almost no one survived back then. Because of her…- demon stopped as he saw that the door opened once again- nevermind. So continuing about that brat and her behav- Lilith stood up and went closer to the demon. She raised her hand and slapped him with all her might. Single crack appeared on the Phantom's face, pouring a little of black liquid. It closed as fast as it appeared but it was enough to set the demon off.

- I might tolerate you calling me a slut, a bitch, whatever. But don’t you ever dare to pull Lilim into that! I want her to be as far from all of your bullshit as it is possible!

- You bitch- demon's voice was low. Lower than any of his teammates ever heard. Both Noktum and Samukai were ready to act if something went wrong.

Phantasm's mouth opened slowly showing his sharp teeth. Another growl escaped, but this one was louder and sparks of fire started appearing.

Demon stood up and started moving towards the succubus. Samurai quickly stood between two of them trying to somehow calm the demon.

- Calm down, seriously calm down- warrior's voice was more like a plea than command.

Phantom was ready to breath fire at Lilith, but Izanagi being thrown right in front of him stopped the spellcaster. Demon looked at the Samukai as if he wouldn't survive another hour and he was going to make sure of it. But Phantom turned around and slithered out of the house

- We are leaving- he said.

- Give us a while- warrior demanded.

Demon stopped in his tracks, his tip of the tail still in the doorway. He decided to give them a moment, but after that he is going to Silesia, no matter what.

Lilith turned to the rest of the Chaos and said:

- I really don't know what you did but no one deserves to be with this monster more than this is needed. I hope that you three will end better than those before- there was a pity in her eyes.

- Now you call me a monster, but somehow it wasn't a problem for you in the past!- Phantom's voice ranged from the outside- what happened to you?

- It's called maturing, you could use some of it too- succubus said with a noticeable venom in her words.

Phantasm then started slithering to Silesia.

- You know where I will be- the demon informed his team.

- So what exactly happened between you two? Of course you don't have to tell us if you don't want to- warrior said with curiosity about the demon's past.

- Maybe next time, for now I would like to have some time alone

- I'll remember to ask later. Noktum, we should go now. Phantom shouldn't be that far away

- It will be better to stop him sooner than later. And remember, if something happens between you and him, you can always come to me- Lilith then smiled gently.

- Thanks- Samukai said as he and Noktum went out of the house, coming to Silesia.

Phantom was now standing a good fifteen meters from the wall that protected Silesia from the monsters. It wasn't as big as walls from more important towns, it might've had more or less twenty meters, but it was enough for the townsfolk to feel safe.

Today it is going to change. Demon slithered closer, four guards that stood before the gate drew their weapons and took a battle stance.

Phantasm summoned abbadon. A reddish beam made a hole in one of the guards body, as it soon was revealed, it also damaged the wall.

Rest of the guards were astonished by the power of the spell.

Demon summoned his scythe and said:

- I command the great winds of the south to tear my foes apart, Winds of Babylon!

One of the guards was trapped in a sphere of wind which ripped him apart.

The remaining two wanted to run, but the demon casted abbadon once again. There was only one left. The last survivor tripped and fell on his back.

Demon then decided to use a new technique. He got closer and used his scythe as a bashing weapon. Red energy covered the blade. At first he aimed at the chest. After one hid he heard ribs crack. Then we went for the head. One strike made the guard scream in pain. Second made him beg for mercy. Third and the last one made him go silent.

Now the only thing that was needed to take care of was the gate and possibly more troops.

Demon swung his weapon and the earth cracked right before the gate. From the crack spilled fire hot enough to melt the obstacle. Phantom casually went through the molten way.

As he expected, soldiers quickly were sent to stop him. Two bowmen that got on the top of the wall shoot him with arrows. Two of them hit him in the back, yet the demon didn't even react. He slithered to the five spear men which blocked his way. He took them down with dragon chains. Arrows continued to rain down on him. A futile attempt to hurt him. He hardly even felt that something hit him. It might sting a little, but arrows do run out after some time.

Samukai, Noktum and Fenfir were rushing to Silesia, hoping that Phantom didn't damage the town. He already got his answer when he saw a molten gate and three corpses accompanied by a frozen statute.

He then noticed two bowmen standing at the wall shooting at something. He already knew what that something was.

Warrior then saw a demon, who was dealing with three heavily armored soldiers.

Samurai only wondered why he even bothered. It was clear that the demon was going to destroy this town.

Just why can't he have nice things?
