This level of the Dungeon is new to me.
Rustle.
Of course I’ll take precautions.
Rustle.
No, it is NOT my fault we fell down this deep.
Clearly this Dungeon has never heard of safety building codes. To think you would place a faulty ceiling section above a faulty floor section. The combination together resulted in what happened after we melted that overgrown puppy.
Rustle.
Don’t take that tone of voice with me!
Rustle. Rustleeeeeeee. Rustle.
Nag, nag, nag. I’m starting to believe you are not a male, Tree.
Did you know this story is from Royal Road? Read the official version for free and support the author.
Rustle.
…are you saying…
Rustle.
So that was the reason you kept wanting to spy on all the beautiful women in the Dungeon? You were doing ‘research’ for the new form?
Rustle.
I’m the Tree? Well then what the hell are you?
Rustle.
…what’s a Dryad?
Rustle. Rustle. Russssssssssssssstle.
A physical incarnation of the tree that lives in symbiosis with it, interesting.
Rustle.
And you get thumbs? What the hell this is complete and utter cucking horse manure.
Ruuuuuuuuustle.
I guess, it does make sense though true. I mean I was sort of getting a bit wierded out by how much you wanted to see the women in some of those Adventurer parties. Not that voyeurism is bad mind you, just the fact that you focused a lot on when they were tangoing.
Rustle.
For research purposes, riiiiiiiiiiiight.
Rustle.
Dryad forms are female only, and you truly required a large sample size in order to craft a good honey trap?
That right there is probably the best excuse I’ve heard for such blatant peeping in a long while.
Rustle.
I throw up my hands in defeat, fine, you win!
I’m going to practice with this new upgrade to manipulating fire element mana. I have an idea for a new defensive spell.
Rustle?
Well, I mean I think a defensive spell is best because I get rather distracted when I’m doing research into new stuff.
RUSTLE.
We’ve only been narrowly eaten like five times, where do you even get these numbers? Sometimes I feel your just exaggerating things to sound worse than they are.
Anyways, I’m going for a shield spell that will do around 15M Kelvins. The trick is isolating the heat so it is only that hot in the thin layer ‘inside’ the spells shell.
Rustle…
What do you mean my experiments have sometimes unexpected consequences?
Trust me!
What could possibly go wrong?
