Two teams were facing off on a football field, one was made up of scary-looking boys, they had tattoos adorning every inch of their bodies with eyes that seemed to yearn for destruction.
The boys on the receiving end of those destructive eyes did not look away in fear, no these boys looked straight at their opponents with sinister thoughts in their eyes. These two teams were the SS91 and The Soyard Boys.
The SS91 hiked the ball, and the speed of their receivers defied the size of their bodies. They scattered around the field trying to get their defenders off them, but The Soyard Boys stayed attached to each receiver they had to guard, making the job of the quarterback extra difficult.
"3!!...2!!" The boys on the sidelines called out as the time the quarterback had to throw the ball was slowly expiring, eventually, he just launched the ball towards one of his receivers. The defender that was on the receiver was able to deflect the ball down, Marvin's expressionless face seemed to show disappointment, something Tyler noticed.
"You think you could make a better throw?" Tyler jokingly asked but contrary to his expectations of Marvin's conversation skills, he said "Yes, throw it right and the receiver can have a chance on the ball"
The shock on Tyler's face was very apparent, one from Marvin replying to his question, something that so far seemed to be as rare as a certain Texas football team winning the Superbowl.
The main thing that was surprising to Tyler was that Marvin was right, Tyler imagined himself in the shoes of the receiver and saw that a couple of inches to the right and he would be able to make a play on the ball.
Tyler didn't know what to think, was Marvin able to dissect defenders that well, or was the quarterback just so bad that any other pass would have been better than the one he threw. "Well, Let's see how they do. They have three more down" Tyler decided to be patient and see which one of his theories was true.
The SS91 began their second down with a fake jet sweep, a receiver ran towards the quarterback like he was going to be handed the ball, but it never happened. The SS91 did this to try and confuse their opponents but The Soyard Boys were able to make the proper adjustments defensive adjustments.
(A/N: A jet sweep is a play where a receiver or running back comes in motion and takes the handoff from the quarterback as quickly as possible. A fake jet sweep is when the handoff does not occur)
So when the quarterback threw the ball, a defender was able to deflect the ball down. Instantly the SS91 receiver started yelling that the Soyard Boy defender on him was holding, and there was truth to his word, the Soyard Boys were notorious for doing everything dirty and this football game was the same.
The Soyard Boys were originally planning on playing this game fair, well as fair as a football game could be in Juvie. Unfortunately for the SS91 members, their first tackle on offense had offended the Soyard Boys so they were planning on using their dirty tricks.
The SS91 member kept on yelling before a loud voice came from the other side of the field, "Shut up and Play ball" It was Big G. It seemed that the other game had finished, and going by the angry look on Bellaire Terror members, the Sugarland Sugar's had won. Seemed Marvin was right about the Sugarland Sugar's faking their anxiousness.
At hearing Big G's words, the SS91 receiver quickly shut up, despite their dastardly appearance, there was someone else they feared. As Carlos and Dame came with the other members of Marvin's team, Tyler explained the situation going on the field.
"So yeah basically, Soyard has the lead right now and since SS91 pissed them off earlier, they're playing dirty" Tyler summarised what had played out on the field in a quick manner as the game was picking back up.
On their third down, the SS91 receivers had a much more serious look on their faces, they knew that they only had two more tries to keep the lead in check. The Soyard Boys on the other hand had crafty smiles on their faces as they looked at the serious SS91 receivers.
The SS91 quarterback hiked the ball and every other SS91 member on the field ran straight up the field, "All Verts huh" Carlos commented on the play SS91 was running. All vert was a term for when a team had all its receivers run up the field in a straight vertical line.

For it to work perfectly, the receivers had to be faster than their defenders and the quarterback needed to have both great throwing power and accuracy for the pass to be caught. It is usually only done when a team is desperate to move the ball as far and as quickly as possible.
The Soyard Boys were quick to understand what was happening, as they all began sprinting alongside the SS91 receivers, they held onto their shirts and some even stepped on the feet of the SS91 receivers, all to just slow them down and lower their chances of catching the ball.
'They should have just one person on a streak, it's just a suicide mission now' Marvin thought in his head, and he was correct. Having one receiver run a vertical route was less predictable than having all receivers run vertical routes.
(A/N: A streak is the same as a vertical route)
The SS91 waited as the boys on the sidelines counted down, "3!!..2!!..1!!!". The quarterback threw the ball with as much power as he could channel through his arms.
The ball sailed through the air, wobbling as it slowly lost its speed and height. The receivers on the ground were trying to push away their defenders and get enough space to attempt a catch.
The ball was coming, its speed was as slow as a rock, making it very easy for a Soyard Boy defender to jump up, using the shoulder of an SS91 receiver as a springboard.
The SS91 receivers could not let themselves be taken out of the equation, but their huge bodies did not allow them to jump as high as the Soyard Boy defender.
The Soyard Boy caught the ball, but before he could safely land down, he was pushed out of the air and forced into the ground by an SS91 defender. The Soyard Boy couldn't even prepare himself to shield his head from the fast-approaching ground.
*BAM* The sound of the Soyard Boy's head bouncing off the grass was heard throughout the whole field. The Soyard Boy didn't move, he lay lifelessly on the ground as his fellow gang members immediately rushed to aid.
"Alright time to go," Tyler said as he tried to drag Marvin away from the field, but Carlos and his friends stood in their way. "Whatcha mean time to go? The party's just getting started" The look on Carlos's face wasn't the same as before, his eyes were wild.
The SS91 and Soyard Boys on the field were already in a heated argument and more people from the sidelines were coming onto the field to supposedly stop both teams from arguing.
No one was exactly sure who did it, but a punch hit Big G's face and that's when all hell broke loose.
Big G instantly punched the closest person to him, who just happened to be a member of Felton's crew, and then in a matter of seconds, the entire field had become a huge brawl.
Carlos looked at the field as the brawl was getting more intense, his eyes were wild with excitement. "Look man we're just gone head over there, you guys can-"Tyler was interrupted by a punch from Carlos, it looked like a fight had to happen.
'Strike first' Marvin noticed that right now he was going unnoticed by Carlos and his group of friends, they saw Tyler as their main threat at the moment. Marvin knew for this problem to go away, he could not run, he had to beat them till their eyes shut off.
That's exactly what he did, Marvin kicked straight into Carlo's nether regions and before his friends could react, he did the same to them. "We could have talked this one through," Tyler said as he kicked Dame and Twiz.
Marvin and Tyler quickly started stomping down on, it was kill or be killed in this place and both boys understood that unless you broke the other guy, he would always come back.
Marvin was stomping down on Carlos and Jordan but both boys were quite resilient and were able to overpower him and begin throwing punches into his face, their hands slammed into Marvin's dead eyes, they seemed to want to break them.
Marvin was being pummeled, his mouth had already started bleeding and his eyes were slowly being forced shut, he needed help but Tyler was having trouble dealing with Dame and Twiz.
'I'm gonna die, these bastards are gonna kill me' These were the thoughts ringing through Marvin's head as Carlos and Jordan ganged up on him.
'NO. NO. I REFUSE' Marvin was not ready for death to take him, he would not die at the hands of these boys, he refuses to.
So when the next his came at his face, Marvin bit at the fingers refusing to let go, and as Carlos got disoriented by the pain of having his fingers being chomped on, Marvin placed his fingers deep into Jordan's eye socket.
Marvin was going just on survival instinct, he didn't care what he had to do, he only cared to survive. So he grabbed Carlo's hands and bent as far back as he could. "ARGGHHH" Carlos screamed in pain as he saw his bone sticking out of his wrist.
Marvin was not finished, he grabbed Jordan's face and bit on his ear, trying to rip it off his head. It was a brutal sight, it looked like a rabid dog trying to kill its enemies.
"GET ON THE GROUND NOW!" The guards had finally made their appearance, but Marvin didn't seem to care, he was now throwing haymakers at Jordan.
"I SAID ON THE GROUND" A guard threw Marvin off Jordan and another punched him in the face, the guard kept on punching until Marvin stopped moving, whether he was dead or not, the guard did not care. Marvin was after all a juvenile delinquent, basically a prisoner, and who loves a prisoner.
The guards quickly assumed control of the situation, the tased uncomplying boys, they used their batons to knock anyone they thought to be too much of a threat. It was brutal, grown men and women beating on children, any normal civilian would look away in disgust.
