AZI Volume 4 Chapter 26

(The hell is all this?! Clones? No, she doesn’t give off any sort of cultivation base fluctuation…)

Knives and threads fly about—making a mess of the ground, as Wang Bei Mu dodges from side to side, while occasionally defending himself from unavoidable attacks.

Being forced to simultaneously deal with five opponents, Wang Bei Mu can only choose to maintain a defensive front.

“…”

Taking out Kun, Tian Cheng tosses it towards the red-haired dummy unit that is closest to Wang Bei Mu.

Catching the sword, the red-haired unit closes the gap between Wang Bei Mu and itself instantly.

“Hah!”

Shrouding his right hand in a dense layer of spirit Qi, Wang Bei Mu strikes out a palm to receive the blade.

In the same instance, the remaining dummy units surround him from the sides and back—with each of them throwing out multiple knives that are attached to threads.

With his limbs and neck bound by these threads, veins appear on Wang Bei Mu’s forehead, as he draws upon his physical strength to prevent himself from being pulled along.

As Tian Cheng approaches, the red-haired unit parts to the side, giving way to her, and upon closing the gap between Wang Bei Mu and herself, Tian Cheng presses the barrel of the assault rifle towards Wang Bei Mu’s chest with some gaps in between.

With the firearm’s muzzle less than a few inches away from his chest, Wang Bei Mu thought—

(This weapon, it should be the same as the ones those unawaken Sinners used, but…?)

Despite not knowing that this assault rifle was a Spirit Armament, Wang Bei Mu’s instincts—that were formed from many years of combat experience, warned him to not take this weapon lightly.

Rotating his cultivation base, a dense layer of spirit Qi appears in front of Wang Bei Mu’s chest—just as Tian Cheng pulls the trigger.

“Nn…!”

*Tatatata!* gritting his teeth under the impact of numerous bullets—that are quickly chipping away at his spirit Qi shield, Wang Bei Mu raises the rotation speed of his cultivation base to its limits—causing a shockwave to erupt with him as its epicenter!

A case of literary theft: this tale is not rightfully on Amazon; if you see it, report the violation.

*Ping! Ping! Ping!* knives fly and threads snap, as Tian Cheng and the dummy units are thrown backwards.

Ignoring the minor wound that is on his chest, Wang Bei Mu spreads his arms apart, causing a giant handprint—formed of spirit Qi, to appear over his head.

Raising a roar, Wang Bei Mu has the handprint descend from above.

“…”

Maintaining a stoic expression, Tian Cheng draws a grenade from her storage pouch, and pulls its pin—prior to tossing it at the falling handprint.

*Boom!!!* following the grenade’s detonation, a giant hole appears on the handprint, causing Wang Bei Mu to widen his eyes in alarm.

“…”

Receiving Kun from the red-haired unit, Tian Cheng leaps into the air, and divides what remains of the handprint apart—prior to approaching Wang Bei Mu once more.

Slashing at Wang Bei Mu with Kun, and firing off the assault rifle whenever he chooses to put some distance between them, Tian Cheng manages to corner him to the edge of the island, where raging waters await.

“Uh…”

Realizing his situation, Wang Bei Mu can’t help but make an expression of discomfort, while thinking—

(Dammit, if only my cultivation base was still at the Nascent Soul realm. If that were the case, these people would amount to nothing.)

Forgetting about the fact that he is currently in the outer domain of the Leng Bing Realm, where spirit Qi is extremely scarce, Wang Bei Mu regrets having used a large-scale divine art that had drained his already low spirit Qi reserves by a considerable amount.

“…”

Just as it would seem like Tian Cheng will continue to press onwards, she stores the assault rifle and Kun into her storage pouch.

In high numbers, an assault rifle may be powerful enough to pierce through a Foundation Establishment realm practitioner’s shield, but she has only one.

Normally, in the Earthborn Elementals’ Realm, Spirit Armaments of this nature were used by a fully equipped army—that would act as vanguards, and thin out the enemies’ frontlines through relentless firing.

Making an onwards gesture with her right hand, Tian Cheng commands the four dummy units to move forward, and restrains Wang Bei Mu’s movements through threads.

“Uh…?!”

In the next instance, a white anti-materiel rifle—measuring at five feet in length, appears in Tian Cheng’s hands.

Naturally, this is the second Spirit Armament that was obtained through the gacha system, and unlike the assault rifle that is meant for rapid firing, a single shot of this—is more than capable of tearing through a Foundation Establishment realm practitioner’s shield without any effort.

Considering how weak Wang Bei Mu is—after being sealed for so long, a single shot in the vitals with this rifle could very easily rob him of his life.

“…”

Without saying anything, Tian Cheng expressionlessly presses the muzzle of the anti-materiel rifle onto Wang Bei Mu’s chest, causing the latter to ask—

“…L-Lady, we can talk things out, can’t we?”

“My master enjoys using brute force to solve all his problems.”

“…”

The idea that a master’s attitude would also be reflected in their servants appeared in Wang Bei Mu’s mind.

Seemingly having surrendered to his fate, Wang Bei Mu turns his attention to the other confrontation, that is occurring on the opposite side of this island.
