Chapter 39: A World Awakened
On the far edge of the Northern continent, amongst the constant snowfall, a castle stood strong. A massive structure, hidden by the blankets of white. Approaching the castle was a man, his feature hidden by a cloak. His breath visible thanks to the cold, the man looks up at the structure. As he did, snow fell from the roof, causing a small avalanche. The man ignored this, the snow was of no consequence to him, each flake disappearing before they could touch him.
?????: “Why must she live in such a secluded place.”
He approached the door only to find it open. He sighed heavily, he understood exactly what had transpired, if the door was open. Pushing the door open, he found something stopping it from opening all the way, but it had open enough for him to enter. Behind the door laid a body of a maid, the contents of her head, oozing out of her ears. The man took no heed of the body continued further inside. As he walked more bodies littered the hallways, maids and butlers alike.
???????: “Disgusting.”
Stepping around and over bodies, he continued up a flight of stairs, where off in the distance he could hear the sounds of crying, no doubt the reason for the bodies. Along the baluster, a layer dust had form, it had been at least a week since anything was cleaned. Finally reaching is destination the crying was definite, laying on the floor blocking the way inside was another maid. The inside of her skull, now painted the floor, as her hand held on to the door knob preventing her from hitting the floor. The way she was placed, it look as if she was trying to escape death, but failed completely. The man shove the body to the ground, using it as a stepping stone to avoid the brain matter on the floor.
???????: “WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH, SPIKEEEEEEEY, WHY DID YOU DIE, WAAAAAAAAAAAAH.”
On the other side of the door, a woman down on her knees, bawling like a newborn child. Though she was a beautiful woman, right now, with snot and drool running down her face, from her constant crying, that would be a hard statement to prove.
??????: ……….Aria.”
Aria: “SPIKKKKKKEEEEEEEEEEYYYY!”
??????: “…………………”
*KICK*
Chantelle: “OW, WHO DARES, ah, Alle?”
????????: “Stop that noise and don’t call me Alle. Its Alexander and nothing-”
Aria: “Alllllleeeeeeeee!”
Aria leapt towards Alexander, who immediately dodge, Letting her crash head first into the door frame.
Aria: “That huuuuurrrrrrrt, why did you dodge!?”
Alexander: “Don’t touch me, your disgusting.”
Aria: “How cruel, is this any way to treat your sister.”
Alexander: “Sister, the only thing I see here is some mucous monster, crying her eyes out.”
Aria: “Ouch, your words sting, but I forgive you, but listen here, Spi-”
Alexander: “Hold it, I want here anything until you clean yourself up, looking at you hurts my eyes and do something about the bodies lying around here, they are giving off an awful stench.”
Aria: “Uggghh, fine.”
Aria rush off, disappearing into another room. A moment later, the sound of running water, could be heard. Alexander looked around her room for a place to sit, but opted to stand, after seeing everything covered in dust. She emerged several minutes later. A stunning beauty, with scarlet hair running down her back, that dance with every step she took. She set down on her bed and nonchalantly removed her towel and finished drying herself. Alexander didn’t even bat an eye, more irritated about the state of the mansion, every second being amongst this filth was a year taken from his life.
Aria: “Jackal?”
At her call, a black furred beast appeared next to her, the look of a wolf, but twice its size.
Aria: “Could you gather everyone and clean up for me, oh and fetch some new servants as well?”
Jackal nodded and disappeared once again.
Aria closed her door, pushing the body out into the hall, then proceeded to get dress.
Alexander: “Now what exactly happened, that was so dire, you had to summon out to the middle of nowhere?”
Slipping on her under garments, she began to let out tears again.
Aria: “It was ……………Spikey.”
Alexander: “Spikey?”
Aria: “My Familiar, she was kidnap and then sh-she died, uuuuuuhhhhhhhh.”
Her eyes begin to water, from the thought.
Alexander: “…………..I’m leaving.”
Aria: “Huh, wait.”
Alexander: “Are you kidding me, you called me out here for one of your pets?
Aria: “Nooooooooooooo, you have to help me.”
*Grab*
Aria tackled Alexander to the ground.
Alexander: “ARIA, QUICKLY, GET OFF ME!”
Aria: “DON’T LEAVE, I NEED HELP.”
Alexander: “OKAY, BUT GET OFF, YOUR NN-N-N-N-N-N-N-N-N-NN-N-N-N-”
Aria: “….Naked?”
Alexander: “N-N-N-N-N-N-N-N-N-NOSE, THERE A LONG STRAND OF MUCOUS, COMING OUT YOUR NOSE, HURRY UP AND GET OFF ME, BEFORE IT TOUCHES ME!”
Alexander gasp for air once he was free, acting as if he was in a life or death situation. He immediately had her blow her nose, and move to the other side of the room.
Aria: “Look like your fear of dirt, has gotten stronger.”
Alexander: “Shut up and tell me about your pet, when did you realize it was dead?”
Aria: “About a week ago, the same time I found out she was gone from her home.”
Alexander: “A week ago?”
Aria: “Yeah, it’s so sad, she was due to give birth, I hope at least the child’s okay.”
Alexander: “A week ago, that was around the same time as that massive energy surge from the central continent.”
Aria: “Yeah, actually, it happened right after, I felt the connection between us severed.”
Alexander: “If that’s the case, this may be more trouble than its worth.”
Aria: “HOW DARE YOU, SPIKEY WAS ONE OF MY FIRST, ITS WORTH EVERY BIT.”
Alexander: “Sister, you do realize, that the energy surge, was no other than “Origin”. That would mean the one who killed your pet was, none other than the Hero. A Hero who hasn’t been seen, for nearly five thousand years, he won’t be easy to find.”
Aria: “UUUUuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuWAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!”
As Aria cries rang out, all around the mansion, objects began to shatter from the voice. For miles around, anything living within ear range, fell to the ground, the inside of their skulls, leaking out their ears. Alexander, stood only a few feet from the screaming, but the area around him stayed intact. When she finally stops, the mansion inside, had been destroyed, but slowly began to repair itself.
Alexander: “Please, refrain from doing that in my presence, debris keep falling on me.”
Aria: “Fine, sooner or later, he’ll let out that huge energy wave again, the moment he does, I’ll Kill him. Then, I find whoever kidnap spikey and they will meet the same fate.”
Alexander: “That’s all well and good, but please do get dress sometime today.”
Aria: “Oh, right.”
Aria started getting dressed again, while Alexander waited around contemplating their next move. He and his sister would benn going against one of the strongest being in existence.
Alexander: “(I wonder if only two Demon Lords will be enough?)”

Pristyne Capital; Suvari-Primeval Castle
Pristyne Soldier: “Move your feet, Mutt!”
Ekorn Nearly fell over from the kick he was given. With chains around his neck and legs, it was all he could do to keep himself from tripping. He had been summoned by the king, per usual he was dress in his slave attire. After a long walk, he arrived in a small room, use for meeting and the such. As he entered, the eyes around the room fell on him. The pristyne hierarchy, glared at him with eyes of disdained, the filthy Therian in their presence. Ekorn held his head down, making eye contact with anyone, would result in another beating, but even without eye contact, the pressure felt in the room full of Beastmen was heavy.
Pristyne Soldier: “Lord Gryphon, we brought him as you commanded.
Gryphon, A lion Beastmen, was the current Head of the Pristyne, any faction or races leader answered to him. One of the few Pristyne leaders able to hold their positions longer than a few years, being in his mere presence, was enough to qualm most challenges to his throne. For everyone else they were crushed. Two the left and right of him, sat several lionesses, all handpicked for him alone, though to be honest he cared not for any of them.
Ekorn looked up for only a moment, his eyes meeting with Gryphon. Gryphons mouth twitch for a moment, Ekorn noticed this and quickly dropped his head back down.
Gryphon: “…………Leave.”
His voice was definite and demanded respect and quick action. Everyone except Ekorn, quickly got up and left. Once everyone had made their way out, the doors were shut tight, making sure they would not be disturbed. Gryphon stood off his throne and moved down to Ekorn. Ekorn stood up, he no longer had to kneel, now that everyone had left. Looking up, his eyes once again met with the colossal Lion Beastmen.
Gryphon: “HAHAHAHAHAHA, EKORN ME BOY.”
Ekorn: “My Lord, it is great to see YOuuuuuuu!?”
Gryphon grab up Ekorn tossing him into the air, like a child. He was overjoyed seeing him again and had no qualms with showing it to him.
Gryphon: “How you been lad?”
Ekorn: “Your Grace, please put me down.”
Gryphon placed him back on the ground, whenever he was alone with Ekorn, his entire demeaner change. The stoat, fearsome aura he portrays, completely shatters when with Ekorn.
Gryphon: “Just happy to see you.”
Ekorn: “Don’t be to joyous, you nearly drop the façade earlier. If I didn’t quickly look away, we would have been compromise. You must be more careful your Grace.
Gryphon: “Yes,yes.”
Ekorn sighed deeply, it was abundantly apparent where Viviana obtained her, carelessness. He was surprised they were able to keep the ruse going for so many years, but they haven’t been found out yet.
Gryphon: “How is little Vivi doing?”
Ekorn: She fine and as audacious as ever.”
Ekorn told Gryphon, everything about Viviana that he could think of, Gryphon enjoying every word.
Gryphon: “HAHAHAHAHAHA, that’s my daughter, by the way, the guards have been saying they’ve been hearing some pretty rambunctious noises, coming from the tower.”
Ekorn: “Th-they have.”
Gryphon: “Yes, also how you tend to have a very sweet scent, evry so often when leaving the tower.”
Gryphon nudged and poked Ekorn sides, making him turn red.
Ekorn: “*Blush*, Y-your Grace.”
Gryphon: “Don’t be bashful me boy, her mother was just as untamable. Ah, that woman, as beautiful as she was strong and fearsome on the battlefield to boot.”
Ekorn: “Your Grace.”
Gryphon: “Lying with her was a battlefield of its own, as our bodies entangled, every motion was a bid for supremacy, but that’s a Tigress for you.
Ekorn: “Your Grace.”
You could be reading stolen content. Head to the original site for the genuine story.
She was one of the only people, I ever submitted to, let me tell you, she really knew her way around a man’s me-”
Ekorn: “YOUR GRACE!?”
Gryphon laughed hearty at Ekorn’s embarrassment.
Gryphon: “So anyway, I had the guards bring you earlier then a previous meeting, I’m sure you know why.”
Ekorn: “That massive energy surge from the central continent, days ago. Something that powerful, would surely not go unnoticed.”
Gryphon: “That power was supposedly, Origin, the Sword of the Hero. If it has resurfaced after so much time, we can be assured that the Hero is wielding it.”
Ekorn: “Yes, but I don’t understand, why would it concern us?”
Gryphon walked over to a nearby window, Ekorn joining him.
Gryphon: “There’s…………….. been talk, to prepare for war.”
Ekorn: “What!?”
Gryphon: “Some of my people believe, that with the coming of the Hero, the humans may use this time to attack. As you know, though we say it isn’t war, small skirmishes had been fought, over claim of your homeland by the two races.”
Ekorn: “Yes……………………… I know.”
The Therians homeland, had been taken from them, after the Demon lord laid waste to the world, a lot of blame was giving to the Therian, namely the Lycanian race, from which she hailed. As a result, a rumor has spread that the Therian who were able to fight back the attack, were actually in league with the Demon Lord. Rumors, soon turned to hate and it wasn’t long before the small race was driven from their land. But, the real truth of the matter was, the lands are rich with resources, resources the rest of the world no longer had after the attack, resources that they wanted to claim.
Gryphon: “The Hero may have save the world, but in the end, he is a Human, summoned by Humans, to fight for Humans. If he were to take part and the Humans, were able to take claim, of your entire homeland, they may come for us next. If that should happen, I fear that those who wish for the throne, will take actions to claim it.”
Ekorn: “…………Viviana.”
Gryphon: “She is only alive, because I am king. If I should fall, I fear for her life.”
Gryphons was a strong, proud and fearsome, but when it came to his only daughter, he was just any other father. His solemn wish, is for his daughter to live a life outside of that accursed tower, but as thing are now, her life within the tower is threatened. Ekorn stared down at the floor, he couldn’t think of anything to say.
Ekorn: “………..No wait, her vision.”
Gryphon: “Vision, you mean Viviana saw a vision?”
Ekorn explained to the king what Viviana had saw.
Gryphon: “C-can this be true!?”
Ekorn: “I never known her to be wrong, but this time I wasn’t show sure.”
Gryphon: “It’s true that the Lycanian race was said to have been wiped out, thousands of years ago, but a few could have always escaped. Ekorn, you of all people should know, things like this could happen lad.”
Ekorn: “But how could anyone but a human lay claim to Origin, let alone wield it?”
Gryphon: “That doesn’t matter, if there is even a slither of hope for the two of you to live, I will act on it.”
Ekorn: “Two?”
Gryphon: “If Viviana’s vision should come to pass, you will accompany her, protect her as you always do.”
Ekorn: “What?”
Gryphon: “Ekorn, you are one of the few people I trust, if her vision comes to pass, promise me you will protect her.”
Ekorn was surprised to say the least, trust was not a word use often amongst Pristyne. To have a Pristyne, let alone the king himself, put his trust in you, was simply unheard of.
Ekorn: “You have my word.”
Gryphon: “Thank you, my daughter has chosen a fine mate. I fear we’ve spoken too long, will ended here today.”
Ekorn: “Your Grace, you are forgetful as always. You must perform our ritual.”
Gryphon grimaced, he had hoped the boy had forgotten.
Gryphon: “Must we do this every time, I truly abhor this?”
Ekorn: “For the sake of your daughter we must keep up our façade.”
Gryphon sighed heavily, he stared down at Ekorn, smiling patiently for what’s to come. Gryphon hesitantly raised his fist into the air.
*Smash*
The force from the blow sent Ekorn crashing into the ground. Ekorn stood, only to be smashed several more times. Just like always, those standing outside laughed at the sounds of the beating. They never understood why he wish to do so without anyone watching, but he sounds were much more definite, when you couldn’t see.
After a few minutes the crashing stop, signaling the end of the beating. A moment later, Ekorn walked out, his head was down, but it couldn’t hide the bruises covering his body. As he disappeared down the corridor, the laughter continued.
Pristyne Soldier: “Man I can’t believe there is someone who can those blows. How does he take those beatings, time and time again, is his Grace going easy on him?”
Pristyne Servant: “Wait you didn’t know, Nibblian have one of the highest defenses and the world. The truth is, it wouldn’t be surprising, if the blows didn’t hurt in the least.”

Grassvalley Village, Lenora
In a council room far from prying ears, the elder’s council, sat around discussing matters of the pass week. Though they were the oldest of the tribe, not a wrinkle any face. Among was Gaelin, he had lead the group to assist the daughters of the Garden. Gaelin explained to them everything that transpired within the Garden, each council member, boasting a different expression from his story.
??????: Such a terrifying beast, was able to penetrate the defenses and cause such destruction, how?”
Gaelin: “Orist, I haven’t discerned that yet, according to the daughter, it arrived one day from the sky. However, they say the Lycanian had theories on why it was there. Once my men finished there report, I will be able to give more in-depth answer.”
Orist: “And what of the Lycanian, where is he now?”
Gaelin: “During my stay in the garden, he, along with his associates, were able to completely hide their presence at times, I believe he is already way out of our territory.”
???????: “Such a disaster under your watch and yet no one seems to question it.”
Gaelin turned his head to the source of the ridicule.
Gaelin: “If you have something to say Respen, please by all means.”
Respen: “Several of your men are dead, twice that are injured. Four Nymphs, unaccounted for and the man who could have been very well responsible for everything, has escaped, yet we speak of dead beast.”
Orist: “Respen, no one could have guess such a thing would take place.”
??????: “Yes, but is it not our job to, cope and prevail?”
Orist: “Ava, you as well.”
Ava moved the hair out of her face, she was the only women with a seat on the council.
Ava: “The casualties were to great and according to reports, this Lycanian did most of the work, while you yourself spent the time, battling your subordinates. Your entire campaign was a complete disaster.”
Gaelin sat and patiently waited for them to finish, what they said wasn’t wrong. These two did not like Gaelin, he was the youngest among them, but had been chosen for a seat on the council.
Respen: And to make matters worse, you allowed the Lady Celes, the one to be Mother, to become fatally wounded. What do you have to say for yourself?”
Gaelin: “………….What you say is true, however, was it not your subordinates who entered the Garden before me?
Both of them gasped out loud.
Gaelin: “Don’t worry, I am not here to pass blame, but as I recall, the first group was supposed to be reconnaissance. However, for some odd reason, they decided to engage the creature and was superbly wiped out. If I recall, that group was a mixture of both your men, if they had done what they were sent to do, my men would have been more equip to handle the situation, wouldn’t you agree?”
Both of them were fuming, but just like Gaelin before they kept their composure.
??????: Calm down everyone, we need not bicker with on another.”
The voice, was none other than the head of the council, Aeson. Aeson was the eldest of the five and also the Leader of the tribe. When he spoke, all arguments were immediately quelled.
Aeson: “Now, tell me about the daughter reaction to this man.”
Gaelin: “To be honest, they were highly protective, making every effort, to keep us from him. Further still, it seems the reason Lady Celes was hurt, was only because she was attempting to save him.”
Aeson: “Oh?”
Gaelin: “Yes, also, after he had made his escape, I find that Lady Celes had become a tree.”
Aeson: “She has begun to Bloom, that’s wonderful news.”
Orist: “My lord, you know what it means?”
Aeson: “I do, it is a wondrous occasion though there has been rather strenuous, we will recover from this ordeal. For now, I like you all to return, we will discuss this further another day, with far less tension I hope.
There were many more things to discuss, but as things were, they would just argue once again. They all did as they were told, each filing out in there own directions.
Aeson: “Gaelin, could you join me for a moment?”
Gaelin nodded to him and they both walked off toward the balcony. From there they could see the entire village, a beautiful city amongst the trees, a sight to behold.
Aeson: “I’ll will be heading out soon, there been a call for all tribes in the area to meet.”
Gaelin: “I see, what do you need from me My Lord?”
Aeson: “Hahahaha, come now Gaelin, I might have called for you, but you’re the one who needed to speak. Your face said there was something you wanted to say, something only for me.”
Gaelin wasn’t the slightest bit impressed, Aeson had always been one to see behind the façade, not missing even on twitch of the face.
Gaelin: “When I arrived on the scene, I saw him for the first time, I couldn’t believe my eyes.”
Aeson: “Believe what Gaelin?”
Gaelin explained what he believed he saw, Aeson expression changing to that of worry.
Aeson: “Did anyone else notice?”
Gaelin: “I don’t believe so, they were all much too young to remember, but he was this spitting image, whilst he held the blade.”
Aeson: “This is troubling, for now don’t tell anyone.”
Gaelin: “Yes, my lord, but may I as what you plan to do?”
Aeson: “I’ll will speak with the other leader, be calm Gaelin, we will get to the bottom of this.”
Gaelin nodded again, before tuning and leaving. Aeson looked up into the sky, as grey clouds begin to form.
Aeson: “It seems, yet another storm is on its way.”

Human Capital, Ziltharth
The streets were bustling and filled with excitement, everyone awaiting the speech that was said to happening today. The news had spread across the world and none one happier than the people themselves. High above the troves of people, set a majestic Castle, decorated with the most extravagant décor, it sheer magnificent stole all visitor eyes from their surroundings.
It was within these castle walls; a meeting was about to take place. Sebastian, along with Cecil and Morgan, have ask for an audience with the king, but have yet to hear word.
Morgan: “What the hells, taking so long, we’ve been here for twenty minutes. Is he taking shit or something?”
Sebastian: “Morgan, please.”
Morgan: “Yeah, yeah, yeah.”
Morgan flopped down into her seat, Sebastian sighing deeply. It has never taking this long before, he was beginning to wonder if they would make it in time. Over by the window, Cecil was looking down to the city, Sebastian joined his uncle.
Cecil: “To think, so many people came here today for this speech, it boggles the mind. How someone can just set aside, everything they were planning, just to hear someone speak.”
Sebastian: “It’s not everyday something like this happens, most are just looking for confirmation.”
Cecil: “Confirmation, I believe the energy surge a week ago, was confirmation enough. There is not one person in this world who wouldn’t recognize that power, it’s like it was embedded into their souls at birth.”
Morgan: “Everyone already knows, but the actual reason for the, is for the king to toot his own horn?”
Sebastian: “That is why we’re here, we must dissuade him from doing this. It’s one thing to state the obvious, its everything else I worry about.”
Cecil: “I pray, one of those two return before our current ruler does or says something, something-”
Morgan: “Completely and utterly Stupid.”
Cecil: I was going for idiotic, but I like yours better.”
Sebastian: “You, two-”
*Door opens*
Servant: “Lord Sebastian, the king will see you now.”
Sebastian: “Thank you, we’ll head out right away.”
The mans bowed his head and reclosed the doors. Moments later Sebastian and his company, exited the room and headed for the throne room. A s they walked the hallways, people move pass them, scurrying around preparing for the event.
Morgan: “Is there something else besides the speech?”
Sebastian: “I yes, later afterwards, there will be a banquet, to celebrate.”
Morgan: “Banquet?”
Cecil: “Exotic dishes from everyone the world, a feast for a king.”
Morgan: “Alright, I can’t wait.”
Cecil: “Don’t get to excited, we won’t be attending any of the festivities, you know we still have mountains of work to attend to.”
Morgan: “Awww, come one, can’t we live a little?”
Sebastian: “Do not fret, I take us out to eat later tonight, how does that sound?”
Morgan: “Really!?”
Sebastian: “Yes, the three of us, right after we finished.”
Morgan: “……….The three of us?”
Cecil: “What, you thought the two of you would be alone together?”
Morgan: “Sh-Shut up, Geezer.”
The three approach the throne room doors, the guards letting them pass right by. Within the throne room, the King sat in his seat reading something, no doubt trying to memorize his speech. As Sebastian approach, the king looked up.
???????: “Sebastian, welcome, I truly busy as you can know doubt tell, but I still have time for you.”
Sebastian: “And I thank you for that.”
Morgan: “(Whisper) What are we invisible?”
Cecil: “Shush.”
The current King, Lorne Rselaia was not by any means someone would call a king. Stubborn, self-serving and the not least bit humble. The only thing he had going was the beauty his family were all unfairly blessed.
Lorne: “Speak, you know how important this day is.”
Sebastian: “Yes your Majesty, if I may, I would to read the speech that had been prepared.”
Lorne: “………..Oh, what for?”
Sebastian: “As a part of your council, I would like to be sure that, what has been written does not offend.”
Lorne: “Ha, why would I care about offending someone, I am there king.”
Sebastian: “True, but they may be visitors among the masses, one who may not take kindly to your words.”
Lorne: “I speak only truths, but if you really wish to read it, you can read it while we walk. Here have it, I already memorized it, ah the glorious me.”
Lorne got up from his throne and began his walk towards the balcony that overlooked the Kingdom. Sebastian walked, behind him skimming through each line, looking for anything that would be offensive.
Sebastian: “My Liege, who wrote this?”
Lorne: “Well I did of course, what truer words then one from the king himself.”
Sebastian: “My liege I don’t think it wise to read this.”
Lorne: “Of course I’m going to read it; do you not see the many people are down there waiting to hear the words of their king.”
Sebastian: “But, some of this is complete ridicule, some other races are extremely proud, this may offend.”
Lorne stopped walking, he turned around to reveal a big grin on his face.
Lorne: “What better time but now to show our might. The mutt’s homeland, have been shared for way too long. We need to show those filthy Beastmen what we are capable of.
Sebastian: “I do believe they called themselves the Pristyne, my Liege.”
Lorne: “Haahahahahaha, oh yes I’m sorry, the Pristyne, hahahahahahah. However, no matter what you say, today I will be making a claim for those lands, it will be ours. With that success, no one will be able to deny my lordship.”
Sebastian: “Still, I think it would be wise to adhere, one or two lines, we can still show our might, without being insulting, using such words is unbecoming of a ruler such as yourself.”
Lorne turned back to Sebastian again, putting a hand to his shoulder, he smiled.
Lorne: “You’re right, how could I the king possibly stain my lips with cursing, See this is why I need your advice……..most of the time.”
Lorne turned and continued walking, leaving Sebastian with Cecil and Morgan. He handed them the speech and let them read it as well.
Morgan: “That idiot!”
Sebastian: “Morgan.”
Cecil: “This speech is appalling, I glad you were able to stop him from saying the most deplorable things, however no matter how you say it, if The Pristyne were to hear this, as hot blooded as they race is, surely there will be back lash.”
Sebastian: “He trying to cement his claim to the throne, the timing right now is perfect and I’m sure that most of the Pristyne have realized his motives.”
Cecil: “I say its way to early, most of the central is unexplored, it would be foolhardy, to assume he will just show up at our door.”
Morgan: “The only other thing we can hope for, is that one of the two rightful heirs return, what are the chances of that happening?”
No one spoke, the chances after four years were pretty slim, as things are now, the future was bleak.
*Loud Cheers*
Sebastian: “Its starting, let’s go.”
The three headed down the hallway, the cheers growing louder as they approached. They step on to the balcony, careful not to be sighted. Lorne stood right where everyone could see him, basking in the cheers. This was how it should be, cheers as soon as his presence is known. They were so loud, if he were to speak he sure he would not be heard, but for now he only needed to say four words. He took a deep breath and as loud as he could shout it.
Lorne: “THE HERO HAS RETURNED!”
END OF PART 1.
