Chapter 2: Dinner / An Other Type Of Evil
The god led everyone to a large table with lots of food.
“What about our family?” Asked Yui, which confused Haruto.
“Yui, I’m right here.” Said Haruto
“I meant our parents and stuff, you dolt.” replied Yui, sighing.
“I have permission from all of either your parents, guardian, or you yourself. Don’t worry, I’ll let you guys have a way to contact them occasionally. I chose you guys because you guys are one of the most likely groups to adapt to the new world quickly. We need you guys to save this world.” Explained the god, lying through his teeth.
“Hey, god. Why exactly did you make me the hero? I’m not exactly the smartest. It’s confusing me a little.” Haruto asked
The god turned to face Haruto, an odd look in his eye
“I have something to say, then. You're not dumb. Stop fooling around.....Oh! Right, it’s multiple personalities, he doesn’t actually know the other one...forgot that…I’ll force him out, then.” Demanded the god with a cold smile, while snapping his fingers.
The room went silent for a few seconds, until Haruto started to talk. His voice sounded hysterical, and an aura rich with mana filled the area around him.

“Why did yo-Oh. I see….. I’m guessing that’s why you chose Haruto as the hero, then? So, you want me to go back to what I was? You want me to corrupt everything again?! What about your precious little lime?... Huh? Wait, you... Why are you…here... no, that doesn’t matter. You want me to kill them?” Asked Haruto, sneering. He pointed at the others.
A chill filled the room, and a suffocating pressure came with it. It was laced with extreme killing intent.
Sora and Akari were shocked, they didn’t recognize the person who was next to them anymore.
To them it looked like a completely different person.
“This Haruto is…. different…. than before…” Akari said, collapsing to the floor from the pressure.
“What...is this?” Sora asked weakly, falling to his knees, grabbing his neck. He couldn't breathe.
Yui tried to shake her brother out of it.
“Snap out of it! You can’t do this again!! Why... Did you...do.. this? He… I….can’t breathe.... Please…. Change him ….back!” Shouted Yui, her voice becoming lower and lower with every word she spoke.
She clutched at Harutos' shirt, unable to breathe. Being so close had nearly sucked all the air from her lungs.
The fear in her eyes made the god pause.
The look in Harutos' eye made him seem restrained by something more than just the god, and the god noticed, wondering what it could be.
His eyes weren’t looking at him, Sora, or Yui, but Akari.
“It couldn’t be that he is holding back because of her, right? Well… she already exhibits some pretty unique traits, I wouldn’t be too surprised. Being corrupted by madness, after all, usually he wouldn’t hold himself back, would he? Then again, coincidences like this aren’t common..hm... She also isn't suffocating from the pressure. If I’m right....no, this is a bit cruel, let's stop it.” Thought the god. He shook his head.
