Like taking candy from a baby!

“Let’s get working then!!! Mia, what’s first?”

[…ahem! Then, first up it would be mast… the promotion our Chaos God received. Due to ranking up twice, we are allowed to select two blessings. Here is how the blessing panel looks like…](Mia)

Blessings available for your civilization:

1. Defense related

2. Proliferation related

3. Attack related

4. Social related

5. Research related

6. Faith related

“Those are the main categories I take it… Shiet!!! This is going to take a while, won’t it!?”

[It seems like it…](Mia)

[M-master!? Why is Mia able to bring out the world's, Midgard’s interface?](Decarbia) - a slightly paniked question arrived

“Hmm? Because she’s an artificial intelligence encompassing all knowledge of my previous world, brought to life through the use of divine power of a really powerful God and this 'game system'. Or, more simply put, she has access to it... Oh, while we’re at it… I am also the God of this world. Nice to meet ya’!” - I replied on a light tone

The obvious reaction from Mia came in a second after facepalming and looking at me with incredulous eyes.

[Master… that’s so irresponsible…](Mia)

“… but it’s annoying to keep hiding it. I literally can’t keep track of the lies anymore and I feel that they will still find out one day somehow. Is there a need for such a dramatic thing? Plus that I want them to know since we need their help moving forward…” - I complained like a child

[…artificial intelligence? I don't understand what's that but it sounds impressive!](Alexandra)

[…so Mia was created as a helper for this world? No wonder she is so amazing!](Decarbia)

“Bullshit! That’s the part you’re surprised about!? What about me? I’m the God of this world, you know! THE Chaos God…”

[Mhm… Since you were with big sister from the start, I kind of figured out it might be the case. But I wasn't entirely sure what sort of being big sister was. I am happy to know that she is even stronger than I am. Hehe! With her around I am always more relaxed and reassured!](Alexandra)

[I also realized it from the point where I entered a contract with you, master… It's kind of impossible not to connect the dots, especially after you killed and devoured another divine being, probably at a higher level than you were. I am stil curious about that by the way...](Decarbia)

Underwhelming… impressively underwhelming! Where's the jaw dropping reaction from both of them!? Actually, why I'm I the one being left with my mouth opened instead?

Should I be happy that they accepted it so readily? I guess that's a 'yes' since a more exaggerated reaction might prove annoying...

"Still... why do they only see Mia in a new light, while I am still the same as before in their eyes? Some divine punishment will be dished out later on tonight!" - I complained through bitter tears

[Well... since that's out of the way, we can get the opinions of everybody else as well. First, let's take a look at the explanation page for the miracles. New things have been added.](Mia)

"Oh? Let's see then."

Miracles available: Soul Upgrade [Ex]; VIP discount [Uq]

Representing the power of a God, miracles are at their base, raw divinity infused in different objects, people or landscapes. Their use is to make it easier for a God to expand and strengthen the belief of his followers, as well as improve the world he/she reigns in!

Such miracles can be placed in two categories: active and passive.

The passive miracles can grant permanent benefits, however they can't directly spread out Faith, since they are hidden from sight. Also, given that they are continuously applied, the effectiveness they possess is limited.

The active miracles provide a one time benefit to one or multiple targets and they allow the deity to confer a Divine Revelation once applied. Due to their limited use, the effects are stronger than the ones provided by the passive miracles.

Each miracle differs from the others, based on its rarity as follows:

Co: common rank;

Uc: uncommon rank;

R : rare rank;

Vr: very rare rank;

Ex: extraordinary rank;

Uq: unique rank;

Ep: epic rank;

L : legendary rank;

D : divine rank;

Be advised that your actions prior to the rank up, decide the choice of miracles available to chose between.

Due to the increased deity rank, you are now able to select two extra blessings for your world. Be advised that the cost of each blessing goes up with each selection made!

Current price for one blessing: 500M Soul Points / one random free draw

"500 million Soul Points!? That's a rip-off! What the hell!!!"

[While I was expecting that response from master, according to the description the price will go up once we purchase the first one. So... worst comes to worst, the second one will cost us at least 1 billion. I would advise purchasing both of them using Soul Points though, instead of using the random draw for now. At the point where it becomes too expensive, we can make use of it.](Mia)

[I agree with Mia. It makes sense to save it up until we truly need it. However, what are those Soul Points you are referring to?](Decarbia)

I hesitated a bit, since it was quite hard to explain that Alexandra and the rest were actual humans that died and now were reincarnated into this game, for the entertainment of the Gods of which I am also a part of. At the same time though, I didn't want to lie to them anymore, making the situation quite uncomfortable...

"This competition between Gods and Devils has Soul Points as currency. I am on the Divine faction and using those Soul Points we can buy different things like miracles or even use them to save some other people and increase our numbers, like it happened with you guys originally as well. That's the most that I can explain to the two of you right now I'm afraid..."

[It's alright! Thank you for trusting and sharing with us even these details! So, what do you plan to do about the miracles?](Alexandra)

"We currently have 8 billion points gathered by wrecking Abigor anyway... Mia, let's see each category one by one and we'll decide after!"

[Understood. Then, first off it's...](Mia)

Civilization defense-related blessings:

1. Soldierize (Passive) - all fighting-related system Jobs will receive a 10% permanent increase in attributes and the passive skill Stand your ground

Cost: 500M SP

2. Oppressive might (Passive) - all invading enemies will have their total attributes reduced by 25% while on Midgard

Cost: 500M SP

3. Upgraded fortifications (One time activation) - provides a permanent two levels increase in defense for the walls, gates and archer towers of your civilization

Cost: 500M SP

As world-changing miracles, all three were quite impressive. And this was only the first category out of the six available. If each has three available options to choose between... it will be Social Policies all over again...

"Opinions?" - I asked slightly annoyed

[First option is great and it has a good synergy effect with the blessing we received from the World Tree. It should be at least 10 main attributes increase and since it's a permanent one, the higher the level, the more we can gain from it. It also has a passive skill that is related to defense and since it's passive and battle oriented, it might provide us with further benefits in the following invasions.](Decarbia)

[I like the second option is a bit better...](Alexandra)

[I agree with Alexandra. This time due to the effect of the World Tree, the level of the invaders was decreased by two levels, therefore their total attributes decreased as well, making the fight itself easier to win. If we add an additional 25% from this skill, defending will be as easy as taking a candy from a baby!](Mia)

[Candy?](Alexandra)

"Ahem! Mhm... honestly, while I like the first two, I am more inclined towards the third option. As you've seen in the notification during this attack, our fortifications have a limited number of hitpoints. If they drop to zero, our camp becomes vulnerable to direct attacks and not only would our buildings and civilians become targets, but if something like the World Tree becomes the objective again and the invaders reach their goal successfully, we are royally screwed. So, a double upgrade to the wall would be a tremendous help."

The tale has been illicitly lifted; should you spot it on Amazon, report the violation.

[But it's not very clear as what the upgrade means...](Alexandra)

"Actually, it's not hard to guess. Most likely, at the point where our civilization would advance in Ages and Era, the buildings will automatically upgrade with the help of the World Tree, or we will have the option of being upgraded through the use of resources. If the next option turns from wood to stone materials for example and the miracle upgrades it twice... we might be able to turn our camp into an impenetrable fortress just by picking this miracle."

[I see... I didn't consider that. It's a good idea!](Alexandra)

[Mhm! I agree... But the first two are also good...](Decarbia)

"There's no need to make a decision just yet. Let's see what else we have. But before that, Mia?"

[Yes, master?](Mia)

"How many people would our camp be able to support?"

[As in, total population?](Mia)

"Yes."

[We already took that in consideration when we built the walls and given that they are at only 600 meters away from the forest and when thinking about the other buildings we might have in the future...](Mia)

[And don't forget about the extra houses!](Alexandra)

[...yes, there was that as well... Probably about 5000 is our limit for now. If we can somehow transform the Elven Huts into something similar to residential areas, separated by different levels, we might be able to have even more. For now though, that's the maximum.](Mia)

"So, you have in mind housing blocks? I see... That's fine for now. Let's take a look at the next category."

[Understood. Then, next up is...](Mia)

Civilization attack-related blessings:

1. Weapon System (Passive) - all fighting related Jobs will receive a 50% permanent increase in damage dealt when using a compatible weapon and the passive skill Weapon Mastery(Basic);

Cost: 500M SP

2. Conqueror's dominance (Passive) - when attacking the invader's base, HP and MP is increased by 100% and attributes grow by 50%. Experience received from the enemies vanquished grows by 200%;

Cost: 500M SP

3. Military Weaponsmith (Active) - provides the possibility of upgrading a normal blacksmith to a Soul Tier 5 Military Weaponsmith, capable of creating rare ranked and above equipment.

Cost: 500M SP

Looking at the second option, I was reminded of the possibility of attacking the Western Dungeon once each two months. Being the base of operation for the invaders, clearing up a couple of levels might shake their foundations and lower their might on the following invasions, even if nothing of sorts was confirmed by any of my seniors. Therefore, that choice was quite tempting and foreboding as well...

[Again... it became even harder to decide...](Alexandra)

[For our dungeon diving unit, the first option is an absolute must! A 50% increase in damage dealt will allow us to easily conquer dungeons and quickly grow our levels...](Decarbia)

"Hmm? Wait a second... that second option... 'experience from the invaders'? Status Page!"

"Wao!"

Counting on my fingers a couple of times, I realized that my attributes grew with one point until Level 10 for each level up and then increased by two points after getting the Elf Lord Job. However, with all the commotion and the stolen divinity from Abigor, I didn't even stop to consider the experience gained from the monsters we wiped out. Also, since all the elves that participated in the event were considered in a single party (or, to be more precise, a civilization), the experience was equally distributed to all of them irrelevant of their contributions.

And since I managed to reach level 48...

"You three, what are you current levels?"

[Hmm? Status Page!](Alexandra)

[Status Page!](Mia)

[Okay then... Status Page!](Decarbia)

And indeed, judging from their stupefied expressions...

[I actually reached 49!!!](Alexandra)

"This absolute cheat elf... That makes no sense at all!!!"

[Master, I am 48!](Mia)

"Mhm... I guess, as the daughter of the system is a given for you to be a cheat as well..."

[I am also at Level 48 master.](Decarbia)

"Is it okay for me to cry? Is it!? I tried my best, right? Right!?"

After swallowing a bitter pill, I closed my eyes and contemplated the changes. It appears that everyone's levels increased big time already... a 10% increase in attributes is already worth between 10-15 points and that's without any extra world blessing, or the Free Attribute Points they can add. If we could rapidly grow an elite force of about one hundred Elves up to Level 100, I could probably wipe out at least between 30-40 floors with ease once we attack, crippling the foundations of the invading armies...

"Great! We will push for a Level 100 dungeon diving unit by the end of the next month, while also focusing on upgrading our civilization's technological advancement. We need crossbows and ballista for the walls, so that our general defenses can be bolstered a bit... Also, after we defend the wave the following month, after about two weeks worth of time, we will initiate an attack on the Western Dungeon where the invader's base is located at. That's the purpose of the rush to Level 100."

[Do you plan to select the Conqueror's dominance then?](Alexandra)

"It might not be necessary as of yet and we also have the rewards from next month, which could permit us to easily increase our funds or even increase my deity rank... Mia's what's the total population amount we can inject our camp with without having it fall in absolute disorder?"

[Judging from Earth's standards...](Mia)

[Earth?](Alexandra) - she repeated confused

[EARTH!? Master is... was, from Earth? Didn't you say you are the God of Midgard?](Decarbia)

"Mhm." - I calmly nodded

[I don't really follow... However, it's unexpected for master to be from the same planet as me, yet from a different realm...](Decarbia)

"Indeed..."

[...ahem! So, like I was saying, judging from Earth's standards it would be at maximum another 200 people. However, that is while taking in consideration the contemporary mentality and the huge amount of complaints and requests human 'snowflakes' usually have. It was proven up to this point that the Elves are different, as there aren't any stupid classifications between genders or races like on Earth. With much less insignificant problems, the number can increase.](Mia)

I sweated a bit at Mia's harsh words, while trying to agree with her slightly.

"T-Thank Reaper for that..."

[Therefore, I think we are good if we go up to five hundred more.](Mia)

"500, huh? Can we really manage such a number? Wouldn't it be better to set up a secondary camp? We will have access to more resources that way..."
