The next day, Aki went to his survival skills class for first period. When he walked into the class the room felt different then normal.
‘Something’s wrong’ Aki quickly directed his eyes towards Mr Heinz, the teacher of the class.
Mr Heinz was reading a shuffled pile of papers and had a somewhat grim expression on his face. Which is quite odd considering he’s usually laid back composed, and even a little competitive.
Aki was certainly confused but he could deduce that it his looked was caused by the papers he was holding, that were probably distributed by the school.
‘An announcement, a punishment, or maybe something else entirely? Right now I can’t tell, but it’s definitely not good.’ Aki thought.
After around 10 minutes later, Mr Heinz settled the class down and stated he had an announcement to make.
“Good morning class, today will be quite an unusual day for all of you and that is because today is an exam day” Mr Heinz says

Looks of confusion and curiosity are plastered on the faces of the students in the room.
Mr Heinz decided to continue and said “This exam is called the ‘Trust test’ and will be conducted for the entirety of the school day. Students from every first year class will be randomly selected into groups of threes where the proctor will explain the details. However this will not be a regular exam because…” Mr Heinz eyes sharpened “…those who fail the exam will be expelled immediately.” He concluded.
‘Huh?’ Aki thought while his eyes widened.
Once they processed what Mr Heinz said the class was in complete disarray. The students were discussing amongst themselves on how to react to this new knowledge. Unfortunately, as a result the volume of classroom naturally increased.
“SILENCE.” Mr Heinz yelled making almost every student stand still
“Everyone line up in two straight lines directly outside the classroom.” He demanded leading the class to follow his orders.
Once they were in the lines, Mr Heinz lead them upstairs towards the examination rooms.
Then Mr Matsumoto appeared. “Everyone, I will now distribute envelopes displaying a room number. When you receive it, go to that room and wait till the examination begins” Mr Mastumoto instructed.
The envelopes were distributed and Aki received room 312. Then Aki began walking towards the room.
‘I wonder what the examination will be like. Since this school is quite odd so maybe this will be an examination based on are deceptive abilities instead of academics. Either way this will be intere-‘ Aki was about to finish his thought when he bumped into a girl who was reading a book.
As both of them fell on the floor the girl gritted her teeth and stood up.
“Watch where your going you worthless monkey. If there wasn’t an exam you would be licking my shoe.” She said as she walked away.
Aki raised an eyebrow. ‘She has quite a sour attitude’ He thought while he gets up and continues walking.
He finally reaches the room and thinks ‘Hopefully the next time I walk through this door I will still be enrolled here’ Aki then opens the door and walks inside the room.
