PROLOGUE
With the world filled with gods and magic. Life can be hellbent for the inhabitants of Armaria. Gods are always fighting for power. While others just want peace…
An evil cult known as The Black Void was meeting with their worshipped deity in human form. He had grown so powerful he could walk amongst them in the cult hall. “This can’t continue to happen!” He yelled in frustration at his followers. “I need all of the god of chaos’ powers if we are to become the ultimate rulers of this world.” He barked out in frustration.
His yelling overtook the storm that was raging outside in the darkened building. The cult members were silent as they listened to his endless rant.
One of the cult members spoke up feeling very nervous. If he angered their God he would be erased from existence. The follower stuttered to speak. “i-ff I may have a suggestion. He stammered. “Go on.” Said the Evil Deity. “I-I wa-ass doing a little research and found some-thing that might help…” he trailed off in fear. “Might help! MIGHT HELP!” Yelled the evil god. “I’ve been having you idiots get foiled repeatedly, by Iris and her followers. What possibly could have you come up with that could stop her?” He yelled slamming a fist on the throne he sat on the room rumbled with a quake.
The follower continued with his statement. “I have figured out where they are keeping the book of Godly Summons. Unfortunately, we found out Iris has it bound to her” He managed to get the words out this time without hesitation. There was a bit of fear in his voice.
The news perked the evil god’s interest. “The book to summon the most powerful creatures.” He mused with an evil tone.
The evil follower continued with more. “My group has also figured out how to trap Iris from long painful research. We were able to convince the governments of the world to help us produce the God Catcher. The device runs on a lot of magic as the downside. It took a ton of mana crystals and money to get the job done. Thankfully, it was easy to brainwash the governments into thinking we could help get more magic power to the world. Only we are using it for you.” The cult member tried to make an ambiguous statement. “
He took a deep breath then continued to talk more. “It will weaken a god and separate them into fragments with magic into an idol. We also took one with us to another building. In fact, we have two” He finished feeling a bit more confident now.
The evil god smiled with a wide devious grin. Though the revelation would be short lived. The building the evil followers were in began to shake. At first the followers just thought their evil god was shaking the ground out of amusement. This changed when a follower ran into the building covered in blood. His last words before he was shot by an arrow. “We are under attack by iris…” The follower fell dead to the ground with an arrow sticking out of his back.
The room began to dissolve into panic. “Everyone calm down.” The evil god commanded his followers. They all stopped for the briefest moment from his command. That all was lost when the roof exploded into a ball of flame. It rained flaming debris onto the crowd of followers. Many were crushed to death before they even knew what hit them. Others were pinned down by debris crying out in agony and for help. Many panicked and ran.
“This is just great.” Thought the evil god with anger. He then turned his head to the follower that had mentioned the plan. “If Iris is here, I want her in that machine. Got it or I’ll have you as my next possession.” He threatened.
“Yes master.” The cult member said as gulped

“I’ll lore Iris over there, now go.” Yelled the evil god to his followers. The follower and his groupies ran to the room with the God Catcher to trap Iris.

The building was in total chaos. Iris’s followers were cleaning out The Black Void cult. Iris had blown the roof of the building after finding out what was going on. Her followers appeared right after finishing up as clean out and clean up.
“Why does every god want the power of the god of Chaos.” She thought as she looked away from her heavenly scrying bow with a sigh. She sat on her throne in her own pocket dimension. The room was gleaming white with marble and gold fixtures hung around the walls. She looked back at the scrying bowl to see the evil god blasting her followers. “Ugh, I can’t have this. Looks like I’m going to have to step in.” she sighed. “I don’t like meddling in mortal affairs, but my hand has been played.” She continued to rant her frustration. Iris grabbed the book of Godly Summons from a bookshelf as she walked to her dimensional portal that would lead her to the mortal realm. She entered the portal and ascended to the mortal world.
Iris appeared on top of the blown roof. She scanned around for the troublemaker of a god. Out of the corner of her eye she caught a black beam of energy coming at her. She dodged the beam and teleported to the evil god. She let out a fast burst of punches at him.
“You’re only postponing the inevitable. “Yelled the evil god in surprise. “Well see about that.” She said as she ran after him to where he had a trapped set. “I hope these goons' plan works or else I’m going to have their heads.” He thought about running as he dodged Iris’s attacks.
He made it to the facility where the device was being held by the cult. He ran into the building. One of the followers saw him run in. “Put up the barrier.” yelled the follower. A magic barrier rose around the building in a dome shape. Iris stopped at the edge of the barrier.
“Great.” She grunted. “Going to have to disable that barrier.” She sighed. She flipped through the book of Godly Summons. She needed to take down the barrier fast. A few of her most powerful followers showed up next to her. “We’ll handle this my lady.” They spoke. This group was her elite best. They began chanting a song and the barrier began to fizzle out. Iris smiled with a smirk. They had nowhere to run…
------------------------------------------------------------------
Back in the building the followers just used the barrier as a distraction while they powered up the machine. There were two of the machines in the same building in case one failed. The followers had powered up both in case. They set the traps on both and waited for the barrier to fall. “How much longer?” The evil god barked. “Almost there.” Said a follower. The barrier fell as he said this. Iris’s followers began to pour into the facility. They began taking out the rest of The Black Void cult members. The place was turning into total chaos.
“Don’t let them destroy the Idols.” Said the evil god. A voice spoke up just then next to the evil god. It was the follower who had set the plan in action “They shouldn’t be able to, the magic field is more advanced than anything we could find to block all magic. The use of influence with money for magic does wonders.” The follower replied.
The fighting intensified as Iris was running after the evil god. “It is ready a cult member.” Cried out a cult member with joy. “Hit it.” Said the evil god as he was still running from Iris. The cult member activated a rune of the idol. The idol came to life and started to hum loudly. Bolts of energy started to hit Iris. Iris froze with each hit and began to falter. She dropped the book of Godly Summons. Iris suddenly began to disappear. Everyone looked around and saw her essence was being sucked into the machine.
The evil god began to laugh. Iris was beginning to fade. With one last ditch effort she blasted the evil god with a binding spell. He was so amused he was caught off guard. The spell hit him shattering his form. His form had dispersed, but his essence remained.
Iris called out to her elite followers. “I need you to do protocol 4.” She said as her last command. She cast one final spell that put all Black Void Cult members to sleep before she finally disappeared into the machine.
The cult members quickly fell out snoring. One of them happened to accidentally turn the spare essence machine to max power. With both god’s essence still present in the air. The idol being to violently shake as a rift portal opened to another world.
Iris’s followers looked on in shock as the whole area was now bending to time and space. All the remaining survivors teleported out of the area. Her main elite force stayed behind to do protocol 4. They would have to end up dealing with the fall out of what was to come…
