Now, each time I wake up, I make a ball of silk that I leave near the glass, and if I want to train, I stay with it, and if I don’t, they don’t forcibly pick me up like before… might be because of the spikes I got. So I started hatching up a plan to escape. My cage is the one closest to the outside, I know this because of the window near it, so after a while, when they’ll be conditioned to simply pick up my silk and that I’ll have enough points to evolve into a butterfly, I’ll be able to make my escape. For now, I go to training about once per two days, after a week I’ll be able to slow down and go once a week. In the days I wasn’t training, I would get some food and then make a device using the small river going in my cage. I try to make it so every 24 hours or so it activates, something that was pretty hard to do. A month later, the device was ready and operational, so all that was left for me to do was to make a ton of silk balls and to evolve. A few days later, all was ready, all that was left was to decide what to evolve into, either into a "Silkfly" or a "Demolition pillar". For my plan to work, I need to be able to fly, so even if the second option sounds more… powerful, I’ll have to go with the first option. Besides, looking at the evolution tree now, I know I won’t regret this choice, since there’s a humanoid species down the line.

DO YOU WANT TO START THE EVOLUTION PROCESS FROM A SPIKOPILLAR TO A SILKFLY?
It’s asking for my permission now? Not that it matters, YES!
I then fell asleep for an undermined time… just kidding, I know more or less how much time passed: two days.
NOTICE, THE EVOLUTION FROM A SPIKOPILLAR TO A SILKFLY WAS SUCCESSFUL, THEREFORE, [LOCAL KNOWLEDGE] HAS EVOLVED INTO [APPRAISAL], [SILK MANIPULATION] HAS EVOLVED INTO [THREAD MANIPULATION] AND THE UNIQUE SKILL [UNFORTUNATE] HAS EVOLVED INTO THE UNIQUE SKILL [SURVIVOR]. THE SKILL [FLIGHT] HAS ALSO BEEN ACQUIRED.
That’s kind of a lot. Anyway, the most important thing among all that, is that I can now fly.
I’ll use [spike launch] to try to destroy the wall and hopefully it won’t make too much noise. Once I activated it, I felt as if I was spitting the spikes, which was gross, don’t get me wrong, but damn was it effective… and loud. As soon as I saw that my attack was enough to break the wall, I started flying away as fast as [Flight Lv.1] would let me.
