I pushed on the object on top of me, and it took me what felt like hours to break free. I let out a victorious “Finally free!” when I broke out. When I opened my eyes… I don’t know what I was expecting, but what I saw definitively wasn’t it. A bright moonlight was shining on me through a window with a wooden frame. Some weird glass was all around, like some kind of cage. The roof seemed made out of a feeble wood, and a lantern was suspended to it. The walls seemed ancient- the whole building seemed to belong to the medieval times. When I looked around, I saw dozens of weird caterpillar-like creatures, all had horns on their heads and shape patterns on their segments. They all had different skin colours, which felt weird considering they all looked like the same species. When I tried to look at my hands, what I saw was some kind of orange nubs, akin to the feet of those creatures. The initial shock took me a while to overcome. Then, my mind started rushing, trying to understand what my eyes were seeing, until I came to a conclusion.
I was one of them.
I was a bug.

My previous life had ended, and I had to start over.
I had to climb to the top from the bottom, again.
NOTICE, THE INDIVIDUAL KNOWN AS VANIA IS NOW CLASSIFIED AS A ONIPILLAR
I was going crazy.
I heard a robotic voice and it gave me the name of those worms- onipillars. As someone who read a few isekai stories in the past, I knew what that voice was.
I was in another world.
I wasn’t human anymore.
The one good thing to come out of this is that I wasn’t restrained by ethics or morals anymore. "Hey, otherworld voice, let me see my skills."
NOTICE, THE INDIVIDUAL KNOWN AS VANIA POSSESSES THE SKILLS [BITE LV1], [DASH LV1], [UNFORTUNATE LV1] AND THE TITLE
So… I don’t have anything good… Wait, what does [Unfortunate] do?
[UNFORTUNATE] GRANTS BONUSES TO ALL STATS BUT LUCK, THE BONUSES ARE GREATER BASED ON THE SKILL LEVEL.
I’ll guess that’s useful, problem is: I don’t have appraisal, or any skill of that nature, to know the extant of [Unfortunate]’s usefulness.
