♪ Everybody Was Kung Fu Fighting ♪

Fang Hu felt the blow before he could sense it, and in a grand display of flexibility, he twisted his entire body like a snake. In doing so, he managed to dodge the blow and deliver a counter at the same time. It seemed like his fist had hit nothing, both in terms of impact and sight. But while Fang Hu might have been fooled, his 'Understanding' wasn't, he continued with his swing, until his power told him that his opponent had been blow away a second time that day. After a tense second, the Song brother materialized at the edge of Fang Hu's side of the ring.

"Haha, wow. Didn't see you countering that trick so quickly. Let's see how you handle this!"

Without giving Fang Hu enough time to speak, Song Guanyu vanished again. This time barely Hu had the time to block, as Guanyu came in high speeds at an odd angle. Before our hero could as much think, he was under attack again, and again, and again. Each time Fang Hu could only block, he didn't have any time to counterattack, that is, he didn't have any time to make a successful counterattack, he could punch the air all day. Sensing this would be all he would be able to do at this level, Fang Hu dipped his mind into his Dao of Snakes. Our hero's emotions turned gray, and instead of just feeling his opponent's location, he felt his body. This might feel inconsequential, and for the most part, it is, but through this difference Fang Hu was enabled to do one thing, fight back.

While blocking and dodging several attacks, Fang Hu waited. A punch at his head was too heavy, and an attempted leg sweep too fast. Fang Hu took his chance with a kick to the chest. With a quick side step and swipe, Fang Hu had quickly wrapped his arm around Guanyu's leg. Using the brutal efficiency of a snake, Fang Hu attacked Song Guanyu's largest vital area. It seems congratulations are in order for future Mrs. Song, as that vital area happened to be his dick. Unlike the glorious Long Dong, Song Guanyu wasn't shook by having his targeted. Without any visible effort, though he is still invisible, Guanyu began to spin in place. Fang Hu's attack was off by that much, Fang Hu hit thigh and almost ate knee to the face. Our hero wasn't one to give up easily, especially when he was channeling his inner danger noodle.

Paying homage to his favorite anime villain, Fang Hu's neck twisted impossibly, causing a knee to fly over his head. Snake boi continued to target vital areas. Having met no success with genitalia, he targeted other vital areas. He had little success, veins, arteries, tendons, even nerve clusters, whenever he was about to score a critical hit, Song boi would increase or decrease his spinning. That didn't stop our hero, he just kept on wailing on the guys leg, scoring over twenty regular hits against the same leg. When Fang Hu was forced to back off because of a particularly fast knee, he had made a displeasing discovery. Every hit he had made against his opponent has barely achieved anything. While that includes the two surprise hits he landed on his opponents, those had done noticeably more damage.

That settles it either y**t*be hair boi's face was more vulnerable, or one of his martial arts focuses pretty heavy on evasion and defense. While he doesn't know if that invisibility shtick is a dao ability or a sub-technique, he does know that Song Guanyu wasn't holding back that much. It was a bit of rush to know that his martial prowess could keep up with a cultivator four stages, and two bottlenecks, above him. He might even be able to win, depending on how their tricks panned out.

While that was cool and all, it still irked him, for he was being looked down upon, he was a fist cultivator, and this man was a weapon cultivator. Hu knew this man was a weapon cultivator, he has a weapon technique on his status. From the novels he read, and his limited experience here, weapon cultivators spend their entire life training with their weapon. Most of their qi techniques focus on their weapons, and they even circulate their qi in their weapons, usually to the point that they are physically weaker without their weapon of choice in hand. If they have a martial art technique, then it's usually there to bolster their abilities with their weapon. 'Sky Dragon's Dance', a technique focusing on defense and evasion, most certainly fit the bill. He was given the ultimate handicap the moment they decided to fight weaponless.

Being looked down on would usually get under Fang Hu's skin, but he swore off that when he was sent to a cultivation world. Powerful people getting under your skin usually ends up with your death here after all. Still, Fang Hu wasn't about to lose on purpose. While Fang Hu took the time to realize that he was being memed on, Guanyu had restarted the attack. The fight flowed back into the old rhythm, except that Fang Hu didn't bother to carefully block each and every attack. Relying on his power, Fang Hu just barely dodged each strike, aggressively countering with his own. The fact that Guanyu hadn't been able to touch him, all the while not receiving a single blow himself only confirmed Fang Hu's theory.

Fang Hu was contemplating just pretending to lose without drawing out all the stops, but his honor just wouldn't let him. He didn't give a damn if he didn't stand a snowball's chance in hell if his opponent used his weapon, he wouldn't go down without a fight! Fang Hu couldn't yell out like in manga, they were moving too fast, so he settled on thinking his lines really loudly.

*YOU MIGHT BE STRONGER THAN ME, BUT I AM A MAN WHO FOLLOWS TWO DAOS!*

As their continued their stalemate, sunlight around the fight fluctuated, it ebbed and flowed into Fang Hu, his amulet glowing as it abetted the process, and as the phenomenon continued, the scales of the battle tilted into Fang Hu's favor. As the snake scholar's body glowed brighter and brighter, he moved faster and faster, eventually scoring a series of three hits. Unlike the hits from before, Guanyu was barely able to deflect them from his vitals, and took damage from them. Those would bruise, and if he took enough of them, he'd have to drop out of the fight. The Song boi took some distance, where his techniques would be of more use. But alas, it was not to be. Song Guanyu wasn't the only one to have techniques, as Fang Hu eloquently describes here.

*OH, TAKING SOME DISTANCE ARE YOU? BIG MISTAKE BUCKAROO, I HAVE A TECHNIQUE PERFECT FOR A 1V1! @ ME BRO!*

While Guanyu was preparing his more long ranged style attacks, Fang Hu started walking in a peculiar manner. His serene smile that he had on throughout the entire encounter, suddenly seemed quite a bit more, for a lack of a better word, serpentine. Fang Hu appeared to be walking leisurely, but continued to pick up speed. Every other step, an afterimage of Fang Hu would appear. To Song Guanyu's surprise, an entire circle of Fang Hus was formed. The circle started to close. Guanyu, who could always read a room, chose that moment to jump out of the encirclement. Hu, who could literally read a room, appeared at that moment to smack him down. By the time the blue haired bandito landed, Fang Hu was already back in the afterimages.

Before Guanyu could do anything, the circle was less than two arm-lengths away from him. It was at this time Fang Hu attacked.

The observers of the fight were silent. Originally, it was due to common courtesy, people don't talk when respected people enter into a match. Now, however it was due to awe. In the beginning of the fight it felt as if they were seeing a snake snapping at the sky. Then while the sky bared down on the snake, it grew in size. Eventually, the snake grew so large that it encircled the sky, trying to kill the heavens themselves. As vivid as their auras had been, the actual fight was as interesting, both parties moving in ways that should be impossible, all the while throwing out abilities that would be labeled super powers in other worlds.

Guanyu wasn't holding back in the previous exchanges, but proved that he indeed had cards in reserve. Every time a strike would hit his vitals, he would visibly speed up, just barely repositioning himself every time. Other times his targeted area would flood with a pale blue qi, forming an energy shell against attack. The same shell coated his hands, presumably increasing his attack. Fang Hu didn't know, Guanyu couldn't get an attack off on him.

The winner would have been close. Would Guanyu have been able to hold out Fang Hu ran out of qi? Or would Fang Hu be able to take Song Guanyu out before he inevitably had to stop? We won't know the answer to that question, for Guanyu wasn't the type of person to leave things to chance. That being the case, he pulled a Fang Hu. He weathered the attacks until he found the best way to use his techniques.

Usually, Fang Hu would have been able to sense that sort of thing. However, right at this moment, Fang Hu was struggling to keep his daos under control. He hadn't been able to last time, and it would be dangerous if he didn't manage to this time.

Waiting for his opportunity, Guanyu blocked and dodged countless attacks. When his time finally came, Guanyu's body was a bruised and bloody mess. While charging his right arm with qi, Guanyu dodged Hu's flurry of attacks. Eventually, Fang Hu slipped up and showed his back to his opponent for a split second. Not able to hide his glee, Guanyu unleashed a blow showcasing the strength and speed of a cultivator in foundation establishment. It was a blow that could rightfully kill Fang Hu, not that any of Fang Hu's strikes were any different.

Just as a sky blue fist was about to pull a K*ky**n on him, our hero's beloved golden amulet flashed brilliantly, and the talisman function that saved his life before did so again. Not one to let an opportunity go, Fang Hu struck Guanyu's face as hard as he could! He managed to dislocate the man's jaw! Pushing his opportunity, our hero redoubled his efforts in his assault. The blue haired wonder was increasingly desperate in his evasion. Eventually he faced a problem that everyone who doesn't constantly fight to their fullest ability knows, his dao overcame him. While dodging two more impossibly fast strikes, a weapon appeared in Guanyu's hand! It was a meteor hammer, what is essentially a weight at the end of a rope. Simple in design, but elegant in use.

Fang Hu couldn't even see the weapon, he could only sense his opponents intent, and knew he was in for a world of hurt. The weapon flashed in Guanyu's right hand, went up his back, and over his left shoulder, and in an instant it came down on Fang Hu's head. Fang Hu only had time to think,

*Oh, s-*

before

BANG

the weapon was caught in a middle-aged woman's hand.

"'hat appe'd?!"

"You lost dear."

With a sick pop and a flood of sky blue qi, the woman put Guanyu's jaw back in place.

"There weren't any weapons allowed in this match, correct?"

Laying on the ground, Fang Hu fought to catch his breath. The only thing he could think to say was,

"Hah?"
