My eyes opened up as I woke up. I stretched my limbs before using my hands to massage my still hurting temple. The headache subsided to a minimum but was still present. Nonetheless, I was still happy about my new element. The only thing that remained was to incorporate it into my spells. As a first spell to test, I choose a regular [Firebomb]. So I dived deep into my mind, where I saw a spell circuitry. I already had element synthesized beforehand, so It took me only one modification to implement. It didn't even take me ten minutes, and I was finished.

'Ehh? This is the first time I ever got a message about upgrades. Why is that? I was expecting them to become variants like with a [Death-Infused Plasmabomb]... When I think about it, it makes sense. This is the first time I directly upgraded a spell to a stronger variant without changing its properties too much. I guess it counts as an upgrade. But they are still some things that make no sense, like why didn't it count as an upgrade of [Fireball] when I obtained [Plasmaball]. To be honest, it feels like the system is trying to help and make it easier for me to manage a myriad of my spells. It's almost like a VIP treatment from a system...'
I walked out of the secret room, ready to test this new element. I directly descended the stairs leading to the third floor of the dungeon. A familiar corridor made out of the polished black marble lit up by a magma pouring out of the cracks in the walls appeared in front of me. One of the armours standing around the walls moved towards me with a giant flaming sword in its hands. I cast a [Solarbomb], and the miniature sun appeared in my hands. I looked at it and, "Aahh", my eyes burned after being exposed to the intense light from the close. I averted my gaze from it, and pain immediately vanished when my [Fast HP Regeneration] started. Not wasting any more of the time, I threw a miniature sun at the running golem. As my spell closed a distance, its metallic body turned red from the intense heat. And when a sphere finally hit a poor golem, it exploded in a small but concentrated explosion of heat and light, making me avert my gaze. Brutalized form of golem walked out of the explosion. It was missing one arm and huge chunks of its body melted. Previously bright light in its eyes was barely flickering.
'Woch, such damage with a basic level spell and at the top of that, I have my stats reduced. I can't imagine how powerful it will be when I get my stats back.'
Another two suns appeared in my hands before I sent them flying towards the golem. Another explosion flashed, burning my eyes again.
After the energy of spells dissipated, there was nothing out of the golem except for one arm in a puddle of melted metal.

'This is really amazing... even though my eyes are suffering with each cast. Maybe I should get some protective glasses. At least it's more stable and destructive than plasma. Let's kill a few more mobs to properly enjoy myself and return so I can migrate all of my spells to this new element. Now that I think about it, last time monsters were spread differently on this floor, that means they are randomly spawned not at fixed numbers.'
It took me only a few minutes until I found a group of three golems. One of them had a halberd, the second one had a sword, and the last was equipped with a massive crossbow.
I started a fight with a multicast of four [Solarbombs] at once. They formed of thin air right in front of me. Golems already began to move towards me, and the crossbowman fired a flaming bolt on me. I ducked, and a bolt passed above me. At the same time, I unleashed my spells. They flew directly towards a crossbowman. All four hit it dead on, creating a blazing hell around it. Then I cast another four [Solarbombs] towards the closest golem, which was already only a few meters from me. It died in a hell of huge temperatures and powerful light. In the meantime, the last golem finally reached me and swung its halberd. I blinked ten meters backwards, and its attack hit just air. Three small suns formed above my head and flew towards the last golem, turning it into a puddle of molten metal.

'Alright, that was enough of fun. It's time to return and work on my spells.'
Back in my room, I was sitting on a soft sofa, focusing my mind on the task before me. I choose my [Death-Infused Empowered Plasmabomb] as the next spell to modify. Circuit of that spell was much more complicated than that of a [Firebomb]. The element was connected to the circuit in multiple places, so it took me more than an hour to modify it. Then I opened the circuit of [Bending Destruction Beam] and started to modify it too. Even base modification took me more than an hour, but it was definitely worth it. The properties of a Solar element were really amazing. One could will to make it more light-like or more plasma-like.
I snapped out of my trance and looked around me.

'I need to unlock magical school for sun elements, and then I will pick up my reward for three free levels for all magic schools I have... Wait, I got a perfect Idea for a new cool spell'. In my mind appeared an image of a giant purple sun-like sphere on the skies bombarding enemies under it with a rain of deadly rays and projectiles.
Excitement quickly built up in me, and I wanted to dive into spell crafting once again. Still, I realized something before that, 'I almost forgot that I don't need more AOE spells but rather some strong single-target ones that I can use inside of the buildings without making them fall on my head. And for that, I have no idea currently'.
In the end, I decided that I would spend the remaining day that I was weakened in the dungeon's second floor levelling up my skills and trying to unlock magic school for the Solar element.
