The group continues forward avoiding the chaotic dangers both in front and behind them.

The giant is looking frantically around the room. He spots the carriage and the horses surrounding it.

"It's your fault all my pretties got out!! Now I'm gonna crush you!!!"

He stands up and picks up remnants of what was on one of his shelves and throws them towards the group.

It careens across the room. The group is almost out of there. The debrisy hits the ground right behind the carriage causing them to fly into the air. Fortunately, it launched them through the crack in-between the boulder door, and the wall of the mountain cave itself.

Zack: "Is everyone alright!!?"

He looks up and asks seeing the group and the goblins picking themselves up.

"Get back here you damn thieves!!!!"

They hear from behind the boulder that is starting to move from the cave entrance.

"GO NOW BEFORE HE GETS OUT HERE!!"

They all start to sprint down the mountain. As Zack is passing the wagon he sees a poorly made doll in the wreckage of the wagon he snatches it and starts hauling it down the mountain. The giant flings the boulder out of the way. He sees the group in the distance, he hurls the giant boulder down the hill towards them. It's gaining on them, they're in a canyon walls on each side.

They keep running but the boulder is getting closer and gaining speed. Gargoyle who is leading the group is searching for anything that can help.

"They're over there run for it." There's a small cave on the wall they dive into it. Almost all of them anyway. Belle gets in and looks back and sees Zack carrying one of the goblin's children he throws her into the cave and the boulder is right behind him. It doesn't look like he is gonna make it.

At the last second Belle screams "Shield" pouring all of her magic into it right between Zack and the boulder. A shield made of pure arcane energy softens the boulder for a split second before shattering giving Gargoyle just enough time to grab Zack's hand and pull him in.

"Are you alright?" he says

"Yes, thanks to you two." He stands up still holding the doll and walks over to the small goblin child handing her the doll. "There you are so brave I think you dropped this.

The child hugs him, gives him a big toothy smile, and runs back to her mom.

"Now what do we do??" Said Kyra

"I don't know we still haven't seen the portal to get back it's supposed to be within a certain distance from the place we start." Said guntar.

The chief heard them talk of this. " you mean purple glowing doorway??"

The group stops conversing and snaps their heads toward him. He gulps in shock.

"Yes, do you know where we can find it??"

" yes, I know I know Zack. At the top of mountain and ravens peak."

"Of course, it is why wouldn't it be? Sais a cranky gargoyle.

"In any case, we need to get some rest we can try in the morning after that whole ordeal I'm exhausted so is little firk'e." The pup lets out a small bark.

The villagers hearing that look at the pup with animosity.

"You keep feral beast and bring him here!" Sais one of the villagers looks disgusted.

"Yes he is my friend I'm sorry for what his pack did but he had nothing to do with it and he has done nothing wrong." She said looking with fierce conviction.

The villagers back down. Immediately settling down for the night. They have a small fire and cook up some rations. Gargoyle has a cloth set down in front of him with different items laid out before him, that he is polishing. Kyra sits down right next to him not realizing she is in his bubble.

" so what are these?"

"Oh these are items from the creatures we have fought and these are things I found in the giant's room trinkets, gold, and gems."

"When did you have time to find all these??"

"Well when you were struggling to hide when we scouted I saw he had a pile of it sitting behind the horses. Guess he had no use for that stuff so I helped myself." He said with a proud smile."

"You should smile more it's nice to not see you so intense once in a while." She smiles at him.

" yeah well, not a lot to smile about these days."

"But we do, just look around we helped all these people, and we got closer as a group. We got closer. That to me seems to deserve a smile don't ya think??"

"Careful your starting to sound like that Buffon he playfully pushes her arm. They both laugh.

Belle and Zack are sitting by the fire chatting and see Gorgyle and Kyra.

"When did those two get all chummy oooh???"

" oh Belle don't tease, it's a good thing we should all get along."

"Oh, they're getting along alright." She laughs then coughs realizing she wasn't being polite. "Anyway today was crazy was not expecting this, our debut adventure was kinda insane."

"Yeah you can say that again but I feel like we all grew together as a team. It makes me happy seeing us all together and relaxed." Belles's head falls over onto zacks shoulder. She is out cold.

"That makes me happy to." He smiles and puts the hair over her face behind her ear. He then realizes what he is doing and turns away not moving but looking away. He sees guntar giving him a grin with both thumbs up.
