Kyra and Gorgyle are led out of the tunnel back to the cave entrance and the giant's room. The two goblins that escorted them would not go within 20 feet of the doorway bowed, then immediately left.
"They sure were in a hurry aye Kyra?"
"Yeah can't blame them "Big man" is out there.
Gorgyle peeks his head out looking for the giant. He is off in the opposite corner of the room looking at his menagerie. They start to look around the notice some beat-up carriages. Almost like a kid playing with wooden cars. There's a track scraped into the ground.
"Hey there's some wagons over there Kyra maybe he has some horses??"
"Yes, I can hear some spooked over there."
Kyra starts to walk over there when the ground starts shaking. she dives behind a leg a near table belonging to the giant. The giant is taking steps back as a winged creature is flying around him pecking at him.
It's launching little fireballs at the giant connecting. He is swatting it away and falls through the table Kyra is under. Or was, as she leaps out to the right. Most of the carriages are destroyed. There's one left that is mostly intact.
Gargoyle takes this opportunity to sneak three horses near the cave entrance.
"Kyra get out of there I got some horses let's retreat until the brute is asleep."
She nods in confirmation sneaking behind the rubble and scurrying back to the cave.
Gorgyle ties up the horses a bit into the cave and they make their way back to the village.
They are met by the chief and his guards.
"Sad man find a way out??"
"I have a name you"
Did you find a way out of "you"??
"No you dolt my name is gargoyle!!"

"Your speak is to confusion." So did you find a way?"
"Yes unfortunately three out of the ways two got crushed, so we only got one carriage we might haft to do multiple trips. How many people do you have again??"
The chief blankly stares and replies "Thirty."
Gorgyle face palms slowly dropping his hand back to his side. He starts to walk off towards a tent mumbling to himself.
Kyra asks the chief "How many are warriors?"
" 10 are my warriors including me."
So we can one carriage work chief gather your people for tonight we escape.
The chief does just that he goes tent too, instructing his people to meet at the cave entrance in three hours.
We cut to the Chief's tent. There's a table with poorly made paper, rolled out atop it. On the paper is a hurriedly drawn map of the giant's humble abode. Gorgyle is speaking with the chief his guards and the party.
" if we position archers here in the plant on the left, and over on the nightstand over to the right. we can keep his attention as Zack gets the villagers away." Guntar and Belle will ride on a horse and use their magic to create a diversion just in case. "
Kyra: "This seems complex Gorgyle."
Guntar: "Ya can't we just sneak out?"
" ideally yea but I think we should have our bases covered." Forget it let's just go it's almost time."
They load up as many people as they can into the carriage and start to make a run for it. The rest are running on foot. The giant rolls over as the carriage is passing them. His eye opens and is starting to focus. He looks at the escapees.
"HEY, YOU LITTLE WRETCHES YOU SPOSED TO BE IN YOUR HOME!!!!"
He stumbles as he shoots up tripping over his table and knocking over the zoo he kept in all those containers.
They all come crashing down. Creatures of all kinds are running around. There are a group of drakes flying around peppering all below with fireballs. An owl bear is locked into combat with a basilisk, it is utter chaos in here. The giant is frantically trying to gather all his pets. He seems to be so frustrated, tears are streaming from his face.
"NO, ALL MY PRETTIES ARE FIGHTING AND RUN AWAY!!! Come back come back..."
As he screams everyone's ears are ringing as the sound bounces off the walls causing the cave to shake.
Meanwhile on horseback beside the carriage is Zack, and Kyra. They are serving as the vanguard for the carriage. As they are rushing for the hole by the door, they catch the attention of these familiar-looking wolves, however, these seem to have had no issue with food. The pack starts to surround the carriage.
Two on the left, two on the right, and three at the center. Guntar and Belle are in the carriage with most of the tribe. The wolves on one side are trying to spook the horses nipping at their heels. Zack comes and swings his sword at the wolf but misses almost hitting the horse. Kyra takes out her bow.
"Steady the horse sir knight." She aims takes a deep breath and fires her bow. The arrow sticks to the wolf's foot, going thru it and sticking to the ground. Not being able to stop, the arrow causes the wolf to flip over ripping it up the paw. It lets out a yelp and falls.
Kyra tucked her pup away into her robe beforehand not wanting him to see it.
"Nice shot Kyra, your aim is as deadly as you are cunning."
She slaps Zack playful on the arm
"You flatter me not a lot to do in the courtyard except practice, besides we have more to deal with.
Belle takes her staff and smacks one of the wolves as it jumps onto the back of the carriage.
"Get back you mongrel."
"THWACK"
It takes the hit but doesn't fall off instead it reacts by biting into her staff. It tries to pull her out. That very second next to Belle a spear is seen lunging towards the wolf. Following it is a hobgoblin. It's the chief he lunges his spear into the wolf falling out of the carriage and pinning the beast to the ground. He looks back towards the carriage and nods. He pulls his spear out and is surrounded by the wolves.
"No chief!!"
As one of the wolves lunges at the chief he readies himself but the wolf is suddenly shot in the distance there's a hooded figure on horseback with the rest of the tribe who were on foot.
"Gorgyle!!" Exclaims belle.
Gorgyle is aiming his crossbow preparing to take another shot. He misses, or so it seems. Attached to the crossbow was a smoke grenade which he shot toward the ground in the middle of all the wolves. As the area is filled with smoke Gorgyle plunges into it grabbing the chief and pulling him up on the back of his horse.
