Kakeru was walking aimlessly. He didn't know where he was going. He was feeling bad. He couldn't stop thinking about all sorts of things.

Kakeru suddenly stopped and stood still. He closed his eyes and tried to calm himself.

He thought of her. He hated her, yet he didn't want her to become completely alone.

He started to walk again. He was walking and walking aimlessly. He was lost.

When he came to his senses he was walking through the forest that was nearby. He realised it was the part of the forest that led to that devil stone or whatever his sister got them to explore to.

Kakeru: Hahah.

It was dark. He couldn't see anything. The only thing he could hear was the sound of his own footsteps.

He took out his phone and operated it to turn on the flashlight function. He shone the light in front of him.

There were lots of trees in the way. They blocked his path.

Kakeru: (I wonder if there are any wild animals here.)

He kept walking. He saw some light coming from further down the forest, from the boulder's direction. It quickly disappeared.

Kakeru: (Is someone there?)

He continued walking. He was close to the place with the boulder. He could see the outline already.

He flashed the light at it. He looked around, but found nothing strange.

He went closer. He was standing right next to the rock.

Kakeru: (Was it my imagination?)

He turned around and wanted to go back. But he stopped himself. He heard a sound.

He heard a faint sound. Like a rustling through the bushes. He listened carefully.

He saw something. Something moved in there.

"Huh, so you noticed us. ~"

A voice called out to him. It sounded feminine.

Kakeru: Who are you?

Kakeru instantly became more vigilant.

"Hey Nee-san, Nee-san, what should we do with him?"

He heard another voice. Even though it sounded the same, he vaguely knew it belonged to someone else.

Kakeru: (Two people?)

Kakeru wondered. He squeezed his phone a bit harder, getting more nervous by the encounter.

"Don't worry Miku-chan. I have a plan. We will just kill him."

A calm voice said. It talked of killing like it was nothing.

"But, Nee-san, how will we hide a body?"

A chirper voice asked the other one.

Kakeru: (Kill? Are they going to kill me?)

Kakeru had no idea what was going on. He didn't understand. He didn't even think of running away. He stood still and stared at the two shadows in front of him.

"Are you going to run away?"

The calm voice asked him.

Kakeru: No.

Kakeru answered honestly. He felt some nervousness, but...

The calm voice laughed.

"You're a brave one. Well, well. I like your guts. But it's such a shame you will die soon."

He saw two girls coming into the light, shining from his phone. He recognised them.

Kakeru: You are those twins. Yuma and Miku, right?

He asked, even though he already knew the answer.

"Nee-san, Nee-san he recognised us."

One of the girls said.

Yuma: Indeed we are.

The other one answered him.

Yuma: Do you know us?

Miku: Hey, hey Nee-san? Isn't he the brother of that weird girl from our school?

Yuma: Yeah, I think so too Miku-chan. That guy. I knew I've seen him somewhere before.

The chirper girl laughed.

Miku: Well, it doesn't matter now.

Yuma: You are right, Miku-chan.

She looked at Kakeru.
