Takatsuki's House - Night

Yuu: As if I would let such a perfect plan go to waste.

I was currently in my room. It was already past midnight. I was waiting for Kakeru to go to sleep, so I can slip out of the house unnoticed.

I looked at my bag that was already packed with all sorts of stuff. Like: flashlight, rope, small knife, two bottles of holy water, a wooden stake and a few other things that might be useful. I right, I also had my trusty stun-gun hidden in my clothes.

Yuu: I'm going to be a vampire hunter tonight! Hahaha~

I couldn't help but laugh.

Who knows I might even find some zombie, werewolf or some other creature. I admit I was a bit hyped today.

Well, I felt some guilt for deceiving Kakeru and going out, but I really wanted to do this.

I took out my phone and checked the time.

01:35am.

I should be able to sneak out of the house now. I grabbed my bag and sneaked out through the windows.

I climbed down and landed on the ground. I immediately turned left and went straight to the main road.

Moon and streetlights were shining brightly. There was almost nobody walking around. I could see a few cars driving by, but no one else.

It was a nice night.

I walked along the pavement until I reached a crossroad. From there I turned right and headed towards the park.

The park wasn't far away from where I lived. The trees and bushes were quite dense here, making it hard to see anything.

I continued forward, until I reached the park the first stop on my route.

There were some people in the park. They were sitting on the benches. They looked like couples.

They were talking to each other, laughing and having a good time. Some of them were even kissing.

Yuu: W... What's with them? Doing such things in the open.

I looked at them for a bit, but then shook my head.

Yuu: Don't be distracted now Yuu. Focus, focus.

I focused on my surroundings. I didn't see any suspicious looking person.

I kept walking. I stopped at a corner of the park, where there were no people.

Yuu: Here we go.

I looked around carefully and sit on the bench. Then I took an empty bottle from the bag and put it beside me.

Yuu: Will Shun or Mika be fooled by that?

I wondered. I hoped so.

I was planning to make them think I was just taking a rest after drinking a bit. I clenched my hand around the stun-gun I hid in my clothes with anticipation and some nervousness. And waited.

And waited. And waited.

Nothing happened.

Yuu: What's wrong? Why is nothing happening?

I was getting impatient.

I sighed and tried to relax. I closed my eyes and thought about how to approach this.

I opened my eyes and looked around again. I saw a couple of people heading towards the exit of the park.

I looked at the clock. 02:05am.

I heard footsteps behind me. Is it Shun? I clenched the stun-gun harder.

I might be attacked any second now. He will jump at me and sink his vampire fangs in my soft neck.
