Ryan started to wake up from his Stamina depleted nap. He hadn’t slept like that in a long time. He stretched his body in the seated position and one of his hands landed on something soft. With Ryan’s eyes still closed, he squeezed what he was feeling.

“Nyah!” a feminine voice said as Ryan jolted his eyes opened to see his hand on an ass covered in orange fur. He slowly turned his head towards the head of the ass he just accidentally groped. He saw what he thought was a neko girl laying on his lap.

She had features of a Beastkin. This girl reminds him of the neko girls he’s seen in anime. She reminded him of Koneko from High School DxD but with orange fur and black stripes. He then realized that she wasn’t wearing any shorts. He quickly crawled away from her.

“Who the hell are you!? Ryan exclaimed from seeing a neko girl for the first time. She just sat Indian style and licked the back of her hand and brushed it on her cheek.

“Nyah, I was really comfortable too…” She pouted a little before answering Ryan, “My name is Katt.”

Ryan just stared at her for a second before finally saying, “Really? A neko girl named Katt?”

Katt tilted her head slightly and said, “Neko… girl…? What’s that?”

“It’s girls that look like you but without the fur.” Ryan explained to Katt.

“Oh, there’s no neko girls here just Beastkin.” Katt giggled, still not fully understanding what Ryan was saying.

“Why aren’t you wearing and pants or shorts?” Ryan asked while blushing a little.

“Pants?” Katt tilted her head to one side and then to the other. “Shorts?”

“Yeah, why are you naked from the waist down?”

Katt looked down and giggled, “Silly, my fur covers me just fine!” She stands up and shows Ryan. “See?”

Ryan quickly looks away from her. “That’s not the point! And why were you sleeping on my lap?”

“Because you smelt so nice, and your lap looked comfortable.” Katt told Ryan as she swayed her hips.

Ryan rolled his eyes at Katt, “Of course you would think that. You’re a cat.”

Katt stomped her foot on the ground and gave Ryan a pouty face.

“I AM NOT A CAT!” Katt yelled at Ryan as a vein on her head could be seen pulsing with anger. Ryan waved his hands at Katt.

“Okay, okay! Then what are you?” Ryan asked. Katt tilted her head.

“I’m a Beatkin. Didn’t I tell you that?” Ryan slapped his forehead when Katt told him that.

“Of course you are. Then what kind of Beastkin are you?” Ryan asked curiously. Katt gave him a cute cat pose.

“I’m a Tiger Beastkin!” Katt then gave Ryan a toothy grin that showed off her fangs. Ryan saw her fangs but then saw when she stopped giving him the toothy grin, that one fang hanged out of her mouth.

“Oh my god…” Ryan thought. “She has the ultimate cute anime girl troupe! The single fang out of the mouth!” Ryan got a little excited about seeing such a marvel.

“Why do you smell so good?” Katt asked Ryan curiously.

“I smell good?” Ryan was genuinely confused. “I don’t know why I smell good. I didn’t bathe or anything.”

“You smell like a Hero. Are you a Hero?” Katt asked with stary eyes hoping that it was true.

“W-what are you talking about? There’s no way that I am a Hero! Nope not me!” Ryan was terrible at lying which Katt could immediately tell and squealed with delight.

“Yay! I knew it! I could smell your Hero scent! I knew it!” Katt started to jump up and down excitedly figuring out that she was right. Ryan tried to calm her down.

“Can you please calm down!? I ran from a Dryad earlier and I don’t want her to know where I am!” Ryan pleaded. Katt stopped and asked Ryan.

“Dryad?” Katt looked over towards the direction of the forest.

“Yeah, some crazy bitch that chased me from the forest. She said her name was Willow.” Ryan explained to Katt. Katt’s eyes narrowed as she hissed.

“You mean the plant lady that eats guys!? Ryan gulped a little and then remembered what Willow wanted from him.

“I think she wanted to absorb my Hero’s aura or something. Then she probably was going to eat me.” Ryan crossed his arms and nodded with his eyes closed. “Yeah, I think that’s what she wanted.” Ryan opened his eyes to see Katt inches from his face.

“Ack!” Ryan moved back. “Why are you so close!?” Ryan asked Katt. Katt just giggled.

“I couldn’t help it. Your smell was stronger.” She gave Ryan a smile. Ryan sighed and shook his head.

“Well, I need to get going now.” Ryan pulled up his Status window.

Ryan dismissed his window to see Katt staring at him.

“What were you doing? You were staring at nothing.” Katt asked while her head was tilted.

“I was doing something that only Heroes can see. I was looking at my Status.” Ryan explained to Katt. Katt’s eyes sparkled.

“Oh! Everyone can see that silly!” Katt told Ryan which only burst his bubble.

“Everyone can?” Ryan asked. Katt nodded at him.

“Yeah! It’s because of the System that let’s us see how much we’ve grown.” She gives Ryan a soft smile as she looks at him.

“But no one else can see your Status, right?” Ryan asked Katt. She just shook her head.

“No one can see your Status.” Ryan sighed in relief. He was glad that no one could just peek at his Status and see that he was a Hero.

“Good. Do you know where the closest town is?” Ryan asked Katt. She tilted her head and put a finger to her chin. She thought for a minute before answering.

“I think it’s that way.” Katt pointed at a random direction.

Ryan pulled up his Map and decipher where she was pointing at. Ryan furrowed his brow.

“That’s where I just ran from the Dryad.” Katt nervously scratched the back of her head.

“Then I don’t know!” Katt said confidently. Ryan just sighed.

“Don’t worry about it. I’ll figure it out.” Ryan turned around and decided to follow the red dot.

“Where are you going?” Katt asked Ryan innocently. Ryan looked over his shoulder.

“I’m going to try and find a town.”

“Can I come?” Katt asked and started to give Ryan the cutest cat look she could on him.

“I don’t think that’s a good idea.” Ryan answered her. She pouted a little.

“Why not?”

“Because I don’t know if the town would be friendly with the Beastkin.” Ryan answered honestly. He doesn’t know if racial bias is in this world or not, but he can bet that there may be. Katt sighed.

“You have a point there. Would you come back to get me after you visited the town?” Katt asked with some hope in her voice.

“Why should I?” Ryan said. He was never the guy who could take a hint when a girl liked him.

“Well, you did grab my ass earlier.” Katt teased a little. Ryan blushed.

“That was an accident!” Ryan retorted. Katt gave Ryan a mischievous smirk.

“What would people think when they heard that the Hero groped an innocent Beastkin, hm?” Katt’s tail was swishing behind her waiting for Ryan to answer her. He sighed.

“Fine. I’ll come back to you when I am down with visiting the town.”

“YAY!” Katt started jumping up and down. She hugged Ryan tightly. “Thank you! I’ve never had a friend before!” A window popped up in front of Ryan.
