A rush of power rushes over Ryan. Ryan falls to his hands and knees as his body twists and contorts with the newly gained powers rushing into it. Ryan groans and yells out in pain. He starts throwing up from the extreme pain coursing through his body.
After what seemed hours of constant pain and suffering, Ryan finally is able to stand back up. A purple window pops up in front of Ryan.
Congratulations on choosing the “Warrior” subclass Hero! You are able to use a variety of weapons at your disposal! Since you chose the “Warrior” subclass, please choose one of the following weapons: sword, dagger, hatchet, or lance. Choose wisely!
“Oh, my god… More choices!? Just give me the damn sword.” Ryan touches the sword prompt.
Thank you for choosing the sword! A common choice in the “Warrior” subclass. It’s an oldie but a goodie. Since you’ve have chosen the “sword”, you are given the chain mail armor.
In a blink of an eye, Ryan suddenly was fully clothed in a cheaply made chain mail. Ryan looked down to see the newly acquired armor.
“What the hell!? When did I get this!? Oh, right. I was told I was given this. It’s cheap as hell but I guess you can’t complain when it’s free.” Ryan sighs as another window pops up.
Since you’ve chosen the sword, please choose 2 skills from the following: Duel Strike, Air Cutter, Power Strike, Whirlwind, and Counter.
“Oh, I kinda forgot about skills. Can I touch to see more info about the skill?” Ryan touched the “Power Strike” skill.
Would you like to learn “Power Strike”? Y/N?
“Oh, I guess I won’t know until I actually choose the skill. That’s kinda dumb but oh well.” Ryan looks over at the skills and finally chooses “Air Cutter” and “Whirlwind”.
Thank you for choosing “Air Cutter” and “Whirlwind”.
“Air Cutter” an attack that uses a form of wind magic that slices through the air and cuts down enemies from a range. Costs 5MP and 5 Stamina to use. Cooldown: None.
“Whirlwind” an attack that spins the Hero with his or her blade out cutting the enemies around the Hero to help thin out the enemy’s numbers. Costs 10 Stamina to use. Cooldown: 15 seconds.
“Okay, that’s that. Now I guess I’ll just look at my status again.”

“Oh, it looks like each point is worth at least 10 in either HP, MP, and stamina. That’s kinda neat.”
Ryan tilted his head when he say his “Race”.
“Why is my race still ‘unknown’? I’m pretty sure that I am human.” Ryan touches the “Unknown” under “Race”. A window pops up.
Would you like to choose your “Race”? Y/N?
“I can choose my own race? Really? Neat.” Ryan touches the “Y” in the prompt. Another window pops up and gives him a list of races.
Race
Human
Elf
Goblin
Fae
Demon
Beastkin
Half Blooded
“These are some interesting races. I can be a ‘Demon’ if I wanted to? That’s interesting. Ryan touches “Human” to get more information about the race. “Human” was highlighted but it flickered to “Demon” for a single frame before the information was shown to Ryan.
Human, a common race in the World of Sylvana. They don’t get any special skills or traits that would give them an edge in the world, but they are the “Jack of all trades” and get bonus experience to all subclasses. +1 Strength and +1 Agility. 1.1x experience in all subclasses.
Do you want your race as “Human”? Y/N?
“Yeah, I figured not but it didn’t hurt to look to see.” Ryan touches the “Elf” race.
Elf, not as common as Humans since they like to stay in the forests and away from other races. They like solitude and being around only of their same race. They have a bonus in “Ranger” and “Mage” experience. +1 Agility, +1 Intelligence, +1 Wisdom. 1.3x experience as a “Mage” and a “Ranger”.
Do you want your race as “Elf”? Y/N?
” Well, I didn’t want to be a ‘Mage’ or ‘Ranger anyways. It’s interesting that each race gets bonus experience in this world depending on your race.” Ryan touches the “Goblin” race.
Goblin, a race that are usually misunderstood because of the bad reputation of stealing and raiding villages of Humans. They may not be strong, but they are very quick and get bonus experience in “Ranger” subclass and more bonus experience once they unlock the “Assassin” and “Rogue” focus under the “Ranger” subclass. +3 Agility. 1.2x experience as a “Ranger”. Once “Assassin” and “Rogue” focus are unlocked, 1.5x experience as a “Ranger”.
Do you want your race as “Goblin”? Y/N?
“Oh, wow. That’s pretty good. But I don’t think I want to be a short green skin guy. I like being tall.” Ryan touches the “Fae” race.
Fae, mythical creatures that are associated with fairies and pixies. Tiny humanoids with wings that can fly around. They may be tiny, but their magic is very powerful. They get a little bonus in experience as a “Mage” but get a better bonus as a “Healer”. +2 Intelligence and +2 Wisdom. 1.2x experience as a “Mage”. 1.5x experience as a “Healer”.
Do you want your race as “Fae”? Y/N?
“I guess being part of the ‘Fae’ race is the way to go if you want to be a ‘Healer’. Still don’t want to be short.” Ryan touches the “Demon” race but nothing happens.
“What the hell?” Ryan touches it a few more times before the window finally pops up.
Demon, devilish fiends that are extremely powerful. They show no mercy and enemies of all the other races. They serve the Demon Lord which seeks to destroy and conquer the World of Sylvana. They get bonus experience as a “Warrior” and as a “Tank”. +4 Strength and +4 Endurance. 1.6x experience as a “Warrior” and 1.4x experience as a “Tank”.
Do you want your race as “Demon”? Y/N?
WARNING: The Hero cannot choose “Demon” as their race for they are the Demon Lord’s minions.
“That makes sense. I guess that’s out of the question then.” Ryan touches the “Beastkin” race.
Beastkin, a race of humanoid creatures that has animal like features like animal ears and tails. They are very agile and strong. They are good at taming beasts. You can also choose which Beastkin you would like the features of. +2 Strength and +4 Agility. 1.5x experience as a “Beast Tamer” and 1.3x experience as a “Warrior”.
Do you want your race as “Beastkin”? Y/N?
“It would be cool to be a furry in this new world. I’ll have to think about that for sure.” Ryan touches the “Half Blood” race.
Half Blood, are people that share the blood of two races. It’s fairly common for the Half Bloods to have Human Blood running through their veins. They only get half of whatever bonus the dominant race has. The human side of the Half Bloods are dampen from the other races blood and will not be considered in the bonus.
Do you want your race as “Half Blood”? Y/N?
WARNING: The Hero cannot choose to be Half Demon because Half Demons are still considered as the Demon Lord’s minions.
“So, there’s interracial relationships here in this world. I bet Half Elves are the rarest of the bunch. I can’t imagine being Half Fae though… I wouldn’t know how that would work.” Ryan taps his chin with his finger to consider his options.
“Should I consider to be a Beastkin? I bet it would be neat to look like a furry. Would it feel weird with the ears and having a tail?” Ryan thinks about it more but shakes his head. He touches the “Human” race.
Ryan touches the “Y” prompt.
