Three days after Tai set out on his trip to Uraeus, the young prince of Lucach stopped for a brief siesta. He sat at the edge of a cliff overlooking a valley. He wondered what project King Bonrue was working on that needed his help. Probably some weird science stuff that he wouldn't understand. He laid back and put his hands behind his head. He watched the clouds float across the sky as a breeze brushed against his face. His eyes slowly started to close as tranquility took over. A loud rumble startled Tai awake. He jumped up thinking the cliff edge was going to collapse. But what he woke up to wasn't a cliff at all. The cliff and the valley below were replaced by a sea of golden sand that stretched infinitely in every direction. The clouds and sun were replaced by a pitch black sky. Tai looked around confused before another rumble shook under his feet. "Wooooorrrrmmm." The voice boomed shifting the sands under Tai's feet. "Wretched, worthless, speck, of, duuuuussstttt." The sky started to shift and shake. A gigantic eye the size of a planet opened up and glared at Tai. The pitch black sky revealed itself to be the scales of a gargantuan serpent. Its body so vast it mimicked the sky. Multiple planet sized eyes opened up in sequence. The eyes surrounded Tai looking down on him. Tai realized the sand he was standing upon the snake's body. This entire landmass was its body. "You, are, noooootttthhhhiiiinnnnggggg." Tai stood paralyzed with fear. He couldn't comprehend the size of this creature. How could he fight something so massive. "I, shall, swallow, alllllll that, is, sssseeepaaarrraaatttteeee." Its eyes blinked successively. "All, will, be, oooonnnnnneeeee. I, will, use yoooooouuuuu." Tai jolted awake to find himself staring out over the valley once more. He quickly looked around to confirm that he was no longer surrounded by that Inconceivable entity. Tai took a deep breath and committed to the idea that what he had experienced was only a dream. He gathered up his pack and stood up brushing the dirt off the back of his pants. He continued towards Uraeus, as the golden grains of sand he brushed off his pants blew away in the wind.
