Xtabay's new airship gifted to her by the newest World King touched down in an empty Terrabeian field. The Monster King stepped off the ship closely followed by her two children. Waiting for her in the field was The Warrior King Sahn Juber and two Terrabeian youths. "Greetings Sahn. I'm glad to find you well." Xtabay greeted. The two youths frowned at the way she spoke. Sahn's signature grin persisted. "Tabs its good to see you." Xtabay stopped a few feet away from him. Sahn looked down at Nanette and then back at Xtabay. "Oh, well since this is Taivero's first time training away from home I'd thought it wise for Nanette to accompany him. Nanette gave a timid wave as Tai clung to her side. The two youths chuckled at Nanette's shyness which prompted an intimidating scowl from Xtabay that quickly quieted the kids. "And what of the riff raff behind you?" She asked while still glaring at the kids. "Some of my other students. I figured they can train together." Sahn replied with a hint of excitement in his voice. "Mmm." Xtabay looked down at her kids, then she promptly turned and walked back to her ship. "I'll return in four days." Was all she said to her kids before the landing ramp closed and the ship took off. Nanette turned back to face Sahn and was startled by the young Terrabeian girl invading her personal space. "Hi I'm Linn. I'm nine. How old are you? This is my brother Dus. Is that your brother? What's his name? How old is he? Is this your first time training?" Annoyed Tai raised his palm at Linn but Nanette quickly smacked his hand down and smiled apologetically. " uhhh 12, Yes, his name is Taivero and he's five, and no I've trained before with my mother." Sahn smiled and spoke up before Linn could continue. "Well, now that introductions are finished, do you see those ruins in the distance?" The four of them turned to see a swirling mist obscuring a structure some distance away. "That place is sacred." Sahn continued. "It wasn't even touched during the war. Both sides respected its history." "Why is it so special?" Linn asked not taking her eyes off the location. "It's said to be the place where the hero Aeolus fell back down to Hyunda after his defeat." Nanette answered to the surprise of the group. "Ahhh you're well informed princess." Sahn praised. Linn frowned. "You're a princess?" She asked, her words shrouded in jealousy. "She is." Sahn answered with some mischief behind his tone. "Now, they say there's a mysterious power surrounding that place and your first lesson is to go find out what that power is. Linn turned around to protest but Sahn had vanished. "Wait where did he go?" Nanette asked. "I don't know but he always does that. A better question would be where is he going?" Linn pointed at Tai who was already making his way to the ruins. "Honestly Tai." Nanette complained before running after him. The other two siblings looked at each other, shrugged their shoulders and followed.
The swirling mist that had obscured the ruins from afar turned out to be snow. Tai held out his hand to try and catch a few flakes. "How are we supposed to get inside?" Linn asked while struggling to push open the enormous stone doors. "I don't know. I didn't see any other entrance." Nanette answered. "Ugh, you try Dus." Linn ordered. Dus timidly walked up and placed both hands on the cold stone doors revealing black rings tattooed on both his wrists. "What are those markings on his skin?" Nanette asked, her boundless curiosity taking over. "It's the magic of our tribe." Linn answered proudly. "Just watch, he's special to bare the shackles so young." Dus took a deep breath and the tattoos melted into his skin. He then began to push and the stone doors slowly started sliding apart. Nanette's eyes widened. "That's amazing!" Linn straightened up proudly. Tai paid them no mind and continued to study how the snow was falling. Suddenly a mysterious force flung Dus back and slammed the doors shut. The echo of the doors slamming resounded throughout the area followed by an immediate silence. Before the kids could even respond to the situation the temperature plummeted and the loud sound of rushing air could be heard surging toward them. "What's happening?" Linn asked while helping her brother up in a panic. Nanette ignored the question; her attention was instead on the wall of air and ice rushing them. "Tai!" Nanette screamed and pointed toward the gale. Tai turned, held out his arm and the wall of frozen air slammed into an invisible force generated by him. "How is he doing that?" Linn questioned." "Nevermind that we have to find a way to open this door." Nanette exclaimed, placing her hand on the stone. When she made contact the stone doors lit up in gold markings and scrapped open. Startled Nanette stepped back but the howl of the storm behind her snapped her back to her senses. She grabbed Linn and Dus and pushed them through the threshold. "Tai come on!" Tai nodded and pushed the storm back before rolling through the threshold with the doors slamming behind him.

The quartet wandered the surprisingly well kept halls of the temple. "Why is it so clean here?" Linn asked, wiping her finger across the stone walls. Tai and Dus whooshed past her sliding on the recently polished marble floors. "It is strange isn't it?" Nanette replied while inhaling a pine scent and watching Tai and Dus crash into each other. "So why don't you have the tattoos like your brother?" Nanette asked while stepping over her brother. Linn's tone was slightly somber, "The women in my tribe aren't permitted to bare the shackles. The elders think our natural connection to the flow of Life would make the magic too potent and therefore dangerous." Nanette frowned. "So they're afraid of how strong you would be?" Linn shrugged in response as if she didn't realize the truth. Nanette sensed that it was a sore subject and left it alone. The four of them continued to walk and eventually the hallway opened up into a large room adorned with statues of various people. "Honestly you two." Nanette complained as Tai and Dus fell over each other again. Linn scanned the room until she noticed a woman on the far side wiping down one of the statues. "Who's that?" She pointed and asked. The petite woman not yet aware of the children's presence glanced over at them. "Oop!" She exclaimed, dropping her rag. "By Tawasi's feathers you startled me!" "By who's what?" Linn asked. "Never mind dear it's just an expression. Now which one of you will it be?" The woman asked impatiently. "Be for what?" Linn questioned. "Who are you?" Nanette added. The woman looked troubled and began to mumble to herself. "Why would they be here if they didn't know the answers to those questions? But they got past Boreas so they would have to be capable. But they're just children. But they got in. I could Just tell them. Yeah good idea." She concluded her conversation with herself and refocused on the kids. "Hello dears, I'm the fabulous Veebé keeper of the Anemoi!" Veebé floated a few feet off the ground, spun around and struck the same pose as the statue behind her which was a statue of herself. "The Anemoi!" Nanette's excitement was palpable. "Like the weapons used by the Hero Aeolus?" Veebé's face lit up. "The very ones although hero is a strong word." Tai yawned which grabbed Veebé's attention. She got closer and examined him. "Oh I see why you made it past Boreas, but someone like you would have no use for it." Her focus switched to Nanette. "You my dear remind me of the last visitor I had. A very polite young man who was chosen by Eurus. Might you know him?" Nanette shrugged nervously. Veebé backed up and sat at the base of her statue. "Well you all made it in here so you all are worthy so which one of you will it be?" Linn and Nanette looked at each confused, Dus inched closer to his sister and Tai paid them no mind. Veebé let out an annoyed sigh. "Look I don't have all day so pick one already!" Veebé yelled. "Linn." Nanette answered, startled and pointed to Linn. "Fine." Veebé replied. "Get in here!" She yelled, but not at them. Suddenly the ceiling began to rumble and the giant stone slabs started sliding apart revealing the sky. The rumbling stopped and the sound of rushing air could be heard again. After a few seconds the storm from earlier entered the room from the gap in the ceiling. The kids braced themselves but the storm condensed and lessened in intensity until it was just a small swirling gust that stopped in front of Linn. "Go on take it so I can finally get out of here." Veebé ordered. Linn cautiously reached her hand into the swirling air and pulled out a blue polearm. "Finally!" Veebé exclaimed as she faded away into a golden light. "I don't understand what's going on." Linn revealed. Nanette put her hand on her new friend's shoulder and smiled. "Go show your tribe what you can do." Sahn stood on top of the temple and smiled down at his students.
