Ysmay sprinted through the halls of the university clumsily avoiding collisions with her fellow students. She tightly gripped the papers she compiled from her research in the library. For days she scanned the pages of hundreds of books provided to the university by World King Lucian. She searched and searched until she found it. The ancient text that her professor, lord Bonrue had asked her to find. She slid to a stop in front of the laboratory doors and took a second to compose herself. She tucked her straight red hair back behind her ear and straightened out her blouse. She took a deep breath and stepped forward. The automatic door slid open revealing several students working diligently amongst the most state of the art lab equipment the world had ever seen. "Wow Ysmay, you're alive. We were about to send a search party to the library." Ysmay ignored Oscar as she normally did. His frequent, poor attempts at flirting with her usually fell upon deaf ears, this time was no different. Visibly embarrassed, Oscar awkwardly resumed what he had been working on. Ysmay hastily made her way to Bonrue's desk and dropped the stack of papers on it with a thud. "You know, you could stand to be a little nicer to Oscar." Bonrue said without looking up from what he was writing. "Who?" Ysmay sincerely asked. Bonrue chuckled. "I found it." Ysmay held up a sheet of paper that she had scribbled all over making it indiscernible. Her hand trembled with excitement as she waited for her professor's response. Bonrue looked up from his work and scanned the paper. "Ysmay." "Yes sir?" She responded in an endearing tone. "I can't read that." She turned the paper around and gave it a once over. "Oh, sorry sir." She dug through the pile of papers she dropped on his desk until she found a clean version of the paper she hand handed her professor previously. Bonrue took the paper and began to read through it. "So that was the case then." Bonrue said to himself. "Also do we have data on that strange lightning storm that occurred in southern Xibalba a few days ago?" "U-uh not on hand but I'd be more than happy to retrieve it for you sir." Ysmay nervously answered when she realized that he was asking her. "I'd greatly appreciate it Ysmay." Bonrue flashed a smile that almost turned her legs to jelly but her eagerness to please helped her get moving to retrieve the data. Bonrue chuckled again as he sat down. “One last thing before I forget. Cass is giving young Taivero a ride here so he will be arriving quite a bit earlier than we anticipated so could you prepare a room for him.” Ysmay tucked her hair behind her hair and smiled. “Of course.”

Cassius's airship arrived at the landing pad of Bonrue's laboratory in Uraeus. Ysmay waited to greet their guests. The door to the airship slid open a moment after it touched down. Tai stepped out first and assisted Kash as she got out. Cassius called out to them from inside the ship. "Okay you two. Don't help Rue do anything crazy. Xtabay would burn this place to the ground if you got hurt." Tai nodded, only hearing half of what he said due to the whirring of the ship's engine. The door to the airship slid closed and the ship took off. Tai watched the ship fly off into the distance, while Kash stood at the edge of the rooftop watching in awe as the air cars weaved between the buildings. Ysmay adjusted her blouse and tucked her straight red hair back behind her ear before she approached Tai. "Welcome Taivero, I'm Ysmay. I wasn't informed that you would be bringing a guest." Tai glanced over at Kash who was already giving him a dirty look. "Haha, yeah well she kinda invited herself." Tai replied awkwardly. "Well it's no problem." Ysmay started. "You both will be treated as honored guests. Now if you two would kindly follow me, I'll show you to your room.. oh will you two need separate rooms or..." Kash interrupted. "Yes separate. Definitely separate." "Very well. I'll have someone get you a room set up. ummm?" "Oh right high I'm Kashurra, but everyone calls me Kash." Ysmay smiled. "Oh, no luggage?". Kash looked around realizing she just jumped into the airship without packing anything. "Not to worry." Ysmay reassured. "The rooms come stocked with food, clothes, and all the essentials. Now, let's head down to the lab."

In the lab Bonrue along with a few of his scientists stood outside reinforced glass examining the machine that was encased inside. The door to the lab slid open and Ysmay, Tai, and Kash walked in. Ysmay began the introductions. "Greetings, our guests have arrived. Tai, Kash, this is Lee, Crystal, Oscar and of course Professor Bonrue Ortega." Kash grabbed onto Tai's arm "Two world kings in two days. This is freaking crazy." "Thank you Ysmay." Bonrue's warm smile caused Ysmay to blush as she stepped aside. "It's nice to finally meet you Tai. I can see your journeys been kind to you." He smiled at Kash. "Oh no it's not like." Tai spoke up. Bonrue laughed. "I'm just messing with you. What I mean is I can feel your power. You've gotten a handle on it going by what your master had said." Kash looked at Tai confused. He had explained to her who he was but left out the details of what he was. "Yeah, well it was an experience." Tai replied. Suddenly the lab door slid open and two security officers rushed in. "Sorry to interrupt sir but there's been a breach on the northern edge of the city. And we think you might need to intervene." Bonrue's eyebrow went up as he pressed a button on his watch which signaled a screen to descend from the ceiling in front of them. The CCTV footage showed a dark skinned woman with a head full of curled burgundy hair making short work of the level five security mechs. Only Bonrue noticed as Tai's aura flared at the sight of the young woman. Tai had never felt a pull so intense. And this was only from looking at her through a screen. For the first time in his life Tai embraced his instinct and bolted out of the lab and made his way towards the woman. Bonrue smiled and instructed all but the security officers to wait in the lab. He than chased after Tai.
