“Thermal signatures indicate targets are still in bed. Are you sure they won’t wake up?”
“I slipped the drugs into their drinks last night. They’ll be out for a while.”
“I can’t wait to see their faces,” Izuku giggled as he and Yui snuck in through the balcony.
“Yamada is gonna cry.” Yui whispered as they carried armloads of bags, she took the food to the kitchen as Izuku put his bags on the coffee table before joining her.
She pulled on the black apron that Aizawa wore, “Insert Coffee to Start” was written on the front. “Okay, I’ll make the waffles. You start on the bacon. Remember that Eraser likes his crispy.”
“Got it.” They washed their hands before they started to cook. A loud meow made them both jump and look at the adult’s bedroom door, breathing a sigh of relief when a loud snore sounded.
Izuku huffed at the black and brown Maine coon that was staring up at them with bright green eyes. “Espresso, we’re trying to be sneaky,” he held a finger up to his lips.
The queen just purred and wrapped herself around his ankles. Yui jolted as the ball of fluff that was the cream and tan ragdoll torpedoed against her leg. Light blue eyes blinked up at her before the cat plopped down on her back at Yui’s feet, toying with one of her laces. “Okay, there’s Espresso and Latte…oh shit!” She dropped the fork she was using to stir the waffle batter to turn and catch the streak of black that had launched itself at the back of Izuku’s head.
“Bean!” She groaned, glaring at the small black cat that had a pink nose and toe beans, the yellow eyes blinking at her innocently. “Okay, Izu, feed the devils please,” she plopped the cat on the head of green curls and washed her hands again.
Izuku giggled softly as Bean nestled into his hair, purring up a storm and he went to fill their bowls. Bean was the youngest of the three cats, and liked to launch himself at things, and he had instantly attached himself to the little cinnamon roll child.
Yui hummed softly as she made waffles and flipped the bacon. Yamada was a huge fan of American food, especially breakfast, so had taught them a few recipes. Her brother came back cat-less to help plate everything up.
“Okay, sunny side up eggs for Yamada…scrambled for Aizawa….” She mumbled before she put in the coffee that she had ground up at home, it was really expensive at thirteen thousand yen a pound, but she had bought a bag once and Aizawa had pestered her about where she got it after having a cup from her thermos. She had the rest of the bag on the counter by the coffee makers, she just didn’t want the grinder to risk waking them up. She saved that until she was holding the grinder in Izuku’s room this morning to wake him.
They arranged the food on plates, one of Aizawa’s large cat mugs full of coffee and a tall glass of orange juice for Mic. Aizawa’s waffles had some of the ground coffee beans that had been whisked in to the batter, topped with a little whipped cream and toasted pecans. Mic’s had strawberries, blueberries and bananas with whipped cream. Syrup was on the tray if they wanted it.
“Oh Kami, they look so good! Do you think they’ll like it? I hope they like it!” Izuku was bouncing in place as Yui took a picture before she put the dirty dishes in the sink to soak.
“Okay, you get Yamada’s, I’ll take Aizawa’s.” She grinned as they took the trays and walked over to their door, nudging it open.
“Hey um…guys?” Izuku called out, keeping his voice soft. Scaring Aizawa led to being wrapped up and hanging upside down by his capture scarf, and Mic tended to shout with his Quirk.
Aizawa groaned, pulling a pillow over his head, “Problem children…”
His husband yawned, rubbing his eyes as he sat up, fumbling for his glasses on the night stand. “Hey kiddos, you two okay, we didn’t have plans today, did we?”
“Well not one we told you about..” Izuku giggled, before Yui switched on the lights and they stepped closer to the bed.
“Happy Father’s Day!” they chorused, the youngest was beaming his sunshine smile as the teenager beside him had her lips turned up in an attempt at the same.
Aizawa sat up fast enough that the pillow landed in his lap, the two adults staring at them with raised eyebrows and opened mouths. The blonde started to tear up, grabbing onto his husband’s arm as he shook him.
“Shooooo…they made us breakfast….” He wailed.
“Yeah, now eat it before it gets cold.” Yui put her tray over Aizawa’s lap and Izuku did the same to Yamada.
“Thank you…why did you do this?” The hero grumbled, raising an eyebrow at them.
“We wanted to do something nice for you! You two have been so nice to us and you basically know everything about us…” Izuku rubbed the back of his head, “Its like a thank you…”
“And we knew your furbabies wouldn’t make breakfast for you. They’ve been sated, so don’t worry about them ambushing you.” Yui grinned at them, crossing her arms over her chest.
“I can’t believe Sho didn’t wake up when you two came in.” Mic grinned as he dug into his eggs and bacon first.
The two gulped, glancing at each other. The green bean cleared his throat, “You see…”
“I drugged your drinks with a slow acting sleeping pill. I got them from Granny Chiyo so they were safe. We just didn’t want the ninja to ruin the surprise.” Yui finished. The adults paused before Aizawa sighed.

“I can’t believe you drugged me…how did I not notice?” he grumbled, chewing on a strip of bacon.
“Oh, Izuku was showing you both the derpy face Bean does and you were both enraptured.” She shrugged, her grin widening when his eyebrows rose when he sipped his coffee.
Mic started in on his waffles, “Aaaw you followed my recipe…” he sniffled before he kept eating.
Eraser let out a small hum of approval, “There’s coffee in these…”
“WHAT? Give me a bite?” the vigilantes giggled at the exaggerated pout before a fork full was offered up with an eye roll. “Those are perfect for you, kitten,”
There was a slight flush to Eraser’s cheeks before he smacked his husband with a pillow. “Not in front of the kids.” He groused, hiding his own face behind his coffee mug.
“They know you’re a grumpy cat, Sho,” His husband chuckled.
“Yeah, you’re definitely a cat.” Izuku giggled, “But cats are like, the best animals,”
“Says the boy that was probably a golden retriever at some point.” She poked his side.
“No, he was definitely a bunny!” Yamada grinned, the adults finishing their food.
“Anyway, thank you for breakfast, it was pretty good,”
“Sho means it was excellent and full of love and he’s really touched you two would do this.” The blonde nudged an elbow against his side.
“Well, meet us in the living room cuz there’s more!” The green haired teen jumped up and down, taking their empty trays, Aizawa had a firm grip on his coffee mug.
“And there’s more of that coffee in the pot.” Her voice lilted in a sing-song as she turned to leave the room with Izuku.
It wasn’t long before the two joined them in the living room, Eraser’s capture weapon wrapped around his neck, only there because they all knew he’d be trying to hide his face. Izuku had spread out the wrapped presents on the table. “So one of Aizawa’s presents is by the coffee maker. We got you more of that coffee.” He pointed to the mug.
“So here, Yamada, you can open this one.” Yui handed him a green wrapped box.
The man blinked back tears “You two really didn’t have to…” he opened it to a collection of fancy tea leaves that were supposed to be good for your throat.
“We wanted to. Your turn, Eraser!” Izuku grabbed the biggest present that was wrapped in black paper with yellow stars and held it out to him.
“I can’t refuse, huh?” Most people wouldn’t be able to hear the teasing tone buried under the gruffness, but the two just smiled and shook their heads. He opened it to reveal a bright yellow sleeping bag.
“Your gray one has a hole and so many stains. This one is water and stain proof, and has extra padding and inner pockets!” Izuku rambled as he bounced.
“So you can hide your nutrient pouches in there.”
“Thank you…it was well thought out.” He mumbled as he ducked his face into his capture scarf as Latte and Bean dove in to explore it.
Izuku grinned as he handed Yamada a bright yellow box, “Yui made this one!”
“Izu helped me,” she said quickly, her cheeks dusting a little pink as Mic grinned as he opened the box. Inside were a pair of new noise canceling headphones, the headband was black but had a small yellow goggle design on the underside. The padding was a matching black and the metal outside had a star and song note design.
“They’re completely noise canceling, and there’s Bluetooth so you can stream music to them, and these dials here can be adjusted to connected to our comms, Tsuki’s channel or Eraser’s comm that we gave him.” Yui listed off, “Izu wanted to make sure you had protection from your Quirk. And we wanted to give you access to our comms in case you ever needed us…” she trailed off as he teared up, tears flowing so fast she thought- not for the first time- that he and Izuku were somehow related.
“THEY’RE PERFECT! Thank you! They’re going on my hero costume the next time I work!” he shoved them on his husband’s head, “HEEEY SHOOOUUTTTAAA!” His Quirk made the pictures rattle and the vigilante duo covered their ears, he took them back, “Well? Did you hear anything?!”
“I might take those.” He warned, looking down at them.
“You just want to ignore your students.”
“Your point?” he countered, raising an eyebrow.
“Okay, last one, this one is for both,” the wrapping paper was blue but had a holographic geometric pattern.
Yamada took it before he sat on the arm of Shouta’s armchair, and they both opened it. Inside were a pair of large coffee mugs. One was bright yellow with a black cat sleeping and had the words ‘No. 1 Dad’. The other was black with a yellow cockatoo singing and the text ‘No. 1 Papa’.
“Oh Kami! I love it! I’m so using this at work!” Mic smiled as he picked up the black one, “This one’s for me, right?”
Izuku nodded, his smile a little wobbly, “Y-You really like them?”
“OF COURSE! They’re perfect!” The blonde smiled as Eraser brushed his thumb over the yellow mug, a slight smile curving his lips.
“We might get some weird looks at school, but I like to throw people off. Thank you, kiddos,”
The green haired teen beamed at them as he bounced, holding out an envelope. “This is the last thing. We thought you should read it after everything.” Yui nodded, holding up her phone.
“Are you recording?” He grumbled, at her nod, he sighed loudly, “Why?”
“You never know when you need blackmail,” She rested her elbow on her brother’s shoulder, leaning against him.
Mic chuckled as he opened it, pulling out the card and reading it aloud. “We know that you two may not be our biological fathers, but you certainly act like you are. In the few years we’ve known you, it’s like you’ve been there for our whole lives. You’re there when we were hurt and patched us up. You’ve taught us how to cook and how to attack pressure points. You’ve been there in alleys and for movie nights and Sunday breakfasts. We never imagined that we would find one amazing dad, and then we won the lottery by getting two. Happy Fathers’ Day, Papa Mic and Eraserdad….love, Izuku and Yui.” His voice cracked a bit and he was reading through tears. Eraser plucked the card from him so he wouldn’t get it wet, but there was a certain gleam in his eye as he put it on the bookshelf.
“Shouta.” Just one word from his husband and loops of gray were wrapped around the vigilantes, pulling them over so Mic could squeeze them in a hug. “Get in the hug, kitten.” Eraser rolled his eyes at the command but wrapped his arms around them, he rested his chin on top of viridian curls.
“Thank you, problem children, it means a lot.”
It was during the heroes walk to school that Yamada had turned to his husband with a shit-eating grin. “I told you they were your kids! I called it the first time you told me about the green bean freaking out about meeting the Eraserhead!”
“Shut up, you couldn’t have known that they’d worm their way into our lives. If Yui hadn’t been hit by that bullet, you might not have met them,” The man grumbled, the new sleeping bag under his arm.
“Oh please. You act like a hard ass but inside you’re a big softie. Eraserdad.”
“We’re all soft on the inside, Mic, full of blood and squishy organs.” His voice was void of emotions as they approached the gate that stood in front of U.A.
“Don’t be weird. You and I both know you’d adopt those kids in a heartbeat if they were in the system. I’d be a hundred and ten percent on board too! We could find a nice house, one with a nice basement you could turn into a gym, an office I could make into a recording space for my radio show. Rooms for the kids and us. And if we had our own house, we could have more than three cats…I’d only let you have up to five though. The three we have now cause enough drama.” Yamada rambled, a huge smile on his face.
And Shouta Aizawa couldn’t help but imagine what he was describing. The problem children safe and cared for and loved under their roof. Where Mic would wake them up while singing and cooking breakfast, making sure they didn’t set each other on fire working on some piece of gear, all of them sitting down to watch Disney movies and Izuku and Mic tearing up when moments got too emotional. He hid his smile in his capture weapon as they neared the teacher’s lounge, already hearing Nemuri’s laughter and Inui’s howling. Yeah, that didn’t sound so bad.
