Chapter - 7 : Awakening day

Alex arrived home and, following his usual routine, began his training, which concluded with practicing the Mana method. Exhausted from his efforts, he laid down on his bed and drifted off to sleep.
Finally, the long-awaited day arrived when their destinies would be determined, whether they would rise to the top of the social hierarchy or remain among the downtrodden. Alex diligently completed his training regimen as usual, and before heading to school, he retrieved the ancestral sword from his grandfather's closet and carried it with him on his way to school.
Upon reaching the school gate, Alex observed the students lining up on the ground, their parents anxiously waiting outside, aware that their children's awakening could potentially alter their entire destiny. Alex joined the line designated for Class A, patiently awaiting his turn for the awakening ceremony. Shortly after, James arrived and nodded in acknowledgment to Alex, taking his place behind him in the line.
"Alex, how are you feeling today?" James asked with an anxious expression on his face. He continued, "I'm feeling quite nervous. I hope I don't awaken a cursed weapon. Frankly, I would prefer not awakening at all rather than having a cursed weapon." Alex responded with a neutral expression, "I'm also feeling nervous." In truth, he didn't experience any strong emotions. His sole focus was on his desire to change his destiny and awakening a natal weapon will be the first step towards his goal.
Suddenly, a voice echoed across the grounds. It was a short, stout man holding a microphone – the school's principal, Mr. Ricardo Jesus. He addressed the students, saying, "Today is the day when you will awaken your natal weapons. I wish you all the best. Don't be disheartened if you don't awaken." Although the principal's words were meant to offer reassurance, the students were well aware of the social prejudice they would face if they didn't awaken their weapons.
"Those whose names are called will come up to the stage," the principal added.
The process of calling out the students' names began, and one by one, they went up to the stage. There, they entered a room with a crystal inside, accompanied by a guide who would assist them. Outside the room, a person was stationed to announce the results of each awakening.
"Rich Gasp - Awakening failed" .
When the name "Rich Gasp" was called out, indicating a failed awakening, Alex witnessed Rich's stunned expression. With a heavy heart, Rich was guided off the stage, tears streaming down his face, and the sight of his disappointment only added to the growing nervousness among the students in attendance.
"Riya Rey" - Awakening failed".
"Jacob Samar" - Awakening failed".

As the number of called names reached 55 out of 270, with each student failing to awaken, the principal's anxiety became palpable. The atmosphere grew increasingly tense, and the remaining students anxiously awaited their turn, feeling the surge of anxiety coursing through their veins.
"Bob Rose" - "Awakened - F level knife" were the words that echoed through the stage. Upon hearing his name, Bob's face lit up with excitement, and even the principal breathed a sigh of relief. The students who had failed to awaken couldn't help but feel a tinge of envy. Bob, elated by his successful awakening, descended from the stage with a sense of happiness.

Out of the 14 names called so far, all of them successfully awakened their natal weapons. Among them, three students achieved an awakening with E level weapons, while the rest obtained F level weapons. The atmosphere in the arena was a mix of relief, anticipation, and excitement as more students awaited their turn.

As the next 31 names were called, disappointment filled the air as all of them failed to awaken their natal weapons. The principal's relief quickly turned back into anxiety. With a total of 100 student names called so far, only 14 of them had successfully awakened their weapons, leaving the majority of students still hoping for their own awakening. The tension in the room continued to build as the process carried on.
As the name "Emily Rain" resounded, Alex noticed that it was their class monitor's turn. Emily nervously made her way to the stage and entered the room where the awakening process took place. Moments later, the announcement came, "Awakened - D level Soul Weapon: Needle." The crowd erupted into a mixture of chatter, gasps, and envy. Both Mr. Mags, the class teacher, and the principal were finally elated to see a successful awakening. The principal approached Emily, offering words of encouragement and praise for her achievement. Emily's face beamed with happiness as she made her way back down the stage and rejoined the class line, her accomplishment earning her newfound respect and admiration from her peers.
"James Weber," resounded through the air. James, who had been lost in his own thoughts, snapped back to reality and nervously made his way to the stage, hoping against all odds that he wouldn't awaken a cursed weapon. Whispers and gossip circulated among some students, casting disgusted looks in his direction.
Unfazed by their judgment, James entered the room, holding onto a glimmer of hope. Moments later, the guide announced with a smile, "Awakened - F level Divine Hammer Weapon: Hicarcus"
Upon hearing his awakening result, James couldn't contain his elation. The principal, initially taken aback by the announcement, quickly transformed his expression into one of pure joy. He approached the stage, shaking James' hand and offering words of appreciation and praise. James, overwhelmed with happiness, descended from the stage, witnessing the mixed emotions of anxious students who couldn't bring themselves to look up to him. Some tried to strike up a conversation, but James ignored them, knowing they were the ones who had previously disgusted him.
"Congratulations," Alex said, acknowledging James' achievement. James responded with a heartfelt "Thank you" and wished Alex the best of luck in return. Alex nodded in response.
"Alex Miller," resounded. Without hesitation, Alex made his way directly to the stage, clutching his sword tightly. Upon entering the room, the guide questioned him, "Why are you carrying this sword?"
Alex calmly responded, "This is my good luck." The guide, intrigued but not pressing further, instructed him to touch the crystal. Following the instructions, Alex reached out and touched the crystal and suddenly he hear a ding sound.
"Sandai Kitetsu detected , loading the system - Zoro Template "

Sandai Kitetsu is one of the swords that the Zoro uses in One piece , followed by Wado Ichimonji then Enma .
